Rated 5 out of 5 by MrWarmth from Great coat High quality, functional coat that is very warm. Bought at end of winter/spring and went through cold and rain with no complaints. Fleece also has inside thermal layer. Very warm on the in between mild/winter type days. This coat will be great in those cold winters to come. Roomy pockets, fits well. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kinsey from 3 time Columbia owner This is one nice coat. it is my second winter coat that I now own. The first coat lasted 15 years and looked new every time I took it from the closet. this coat looks equal quality so this will be the only time I comment. Because 15 years from now I will be 80.

Rated 5 out of 5 by snowmobilerobert from Monsoon This coat seems like it was designed for some serious monsoon type rain!! The material feels like a rain jacket but doesn't feel tough. (I'm not saying its not tough) The hood does NOT come off or unzip. You are stuck with it on. The Polartec 300 is the best you can get and is what the U.S. military uses in its winter gear. My very old Columbia interchange has snaps NOT Velcro. I like the snaps but everyone seems to have gone to Velcro for some reason. If you need serious water protection, this coat is for you. I wouldn't think of it as a SKI type jacket however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AsystoleX from Great coat, but not perfect. The quality of the coat great so far, let's see if it holds up. Very warm! The zippers could use a bit more of something though to grab onto. When you are wearing gloves, it's hard to grab them. The hood also comes down way too far over your face when it's up and the coat isn't zipped.
