Men’s OutDry™ Glacial Hybrid Jacket is rated out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by senalba from This is a great product I am 6'2", 185lbs (athletic fit), size M is a good fit for me. I have long arms, so I wish sleeves were a little bit longer, but they are not too short by any means. I used a jacket as an everyday winter-jacket in Chicago and as a skiing jacket in Colorado in March. The jacket is good for a warm sunny day skiing and has some space to layer up if the temperature is in 20F. However, keep in mind that this is not a super warm jacket. If you need something for extreme weather you need to look for a warmer alternative. A jacket is well though so it was comfortable to use it both for skiing and as an everyday jacket. I can suggest one thing for future improvement. Underarm vents should open wider (right now opening is limited by a ~1inch-wide mesh liner.) But this is definitely a personal preference. One thing that I can't comment on right now is OutDry fabric durability. In particular, I am interested in how it behaves if it is scratched.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Browns from Good Jacket for Skiing Use this jacket for alpine skiing. I find it very warm down to about 15 degrees with a base layer, light fleece and down vest under. Completely windproof. It does fit a little snug in the shoulders to layer any more. The outdry is completely water proof and does breath a little. I love all the pockets and other ski features. Love that the hood will go over the helmet. When it is soaking wet outside, items in the two front lower pockets do get wet. The rest of the pockets and the inside stay dry and toasty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adam58 from Great quality coat, but it runs large This coat feels like it is well made and high quality. The coat is very waterproof (I've worn it in the Portland rain and have stayed dry). I do feel that the coat runs pretty large compared to other Columbia coats. I generally wear a size Large in Columbia jackets (with the exception of the "Interchange"-style coats with the detachable shell, which seem to run large so I wear a medium). I had purchased a Large in this jacket originally, and found the body to be far too big (I'm 5' 11", 185 lbs, and I was swimming in the jacket). I had to return the jacket and purchase a Medium size, which I feel fits me perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NJSSoCal from Pragmatic, Tough and Handsome design Columbia made another winner jacket with this Glacial Hybrid. Stars: * OutDry is a must have feature for autumn, winter, spring jacket. * Many zippered pockets plus one hidden on left sleeve. * Tough design yet supple and smooth * Warm interior design that allows underneath jacket to slip through easily. * Nice color coordinate design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spacecarrot from Extremely warm without bulk The Omni-Heat technology warms you up in minutes without being overly bulky like down. This jacket is truly waterproof and has nice features like vents and interior pockets. Without a doubt going to be my go to commuter jacket for cool, wet winters in Seattle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jhsc from Warm and Dry Great jacket for the price. The lining is very warm, but not bulky. Pockets are placed good for skiing. The only thing I wasn't 100% impressed by was the front zipper. Seems lower quality and not complete water proof like other Columbia jackets I've had. Overall though, I'd recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jdubs from Great in a blizzard Just bought this coat and had the chance to wear shoveling snow in 30-40 mph winds. Coat did a great job blocking the wind, kept me warm, but also could tell the material was breathable as I began sweating while shoveling. Coat is fairly form fitting, which makes it look nicer, but if you want to wear thick layers underneath, you may want to order up a size, but then arms may be too long. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Johnfrombr from Great jacket This is a great jacket, I am pretty happy with its quality and functions. I have been testing it in Vermont's winter and the jacket is handling great both the cold and snow (lots of). It feels true to size. It is my first Columbia jacket so I have followed the size chart to make the purchase, and it fits great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by yzrider86 from Great but missed one thing Bought this jacket to replace a jacket that got wet inside the front pockets, cuffs and waist, everything was good till I had both front lower pockets wet on inside first trip into the rain, everything else stayed dry but the two front lower pockets, only opened pockets for a quick up zip to grab items and zip back up maybe 3 times in 2 hours each side in the rain so can't say if it is sleeve putting water in pocket when I reached in, I will be not using the pockets on front and see if still get wet after another outing in the pacific northwest fall weather, besides that columbia did a great job on the jacket, I really love everything else about jacket, its warm, kept my wrists arms chest dry the outside pockets don't effect the inside at all, its got a rain/snow skirt, pockets on inside and a nice stretchy inside pouch for bigger items, the jacket is a a- only cause the outside pockets but if you can live with those pockets getting wet in a downpour you will love this jacket
