Men’s Peakfreak™ Enduro OutDry is rated out of 5 by 41.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jaimenieto from Check size before ordering I have had peakfreak shoes before and they are just excellent: quality, functionallity and confort; in the case of OUTDRY Enduro model, it comes a little small and I can´t use thick stocks for trecking (as I use on same 13 men size peakfreak, no outdry). Please check before buying, same size of peakfreak for OUTDRY model will come little smaller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by swe13 from Shoes are not the same size I own 3 pairs of the regular peakfreak enduro. They fit great on both feet. I ordered 2 pair of the peakfreak enduro OUTDRY. They supposedly use the same last (shoe form) as the regular enduro. Both pair fit fine on the left foot. Both right feet are SMALL. Not only do the run narrow, but the length is considerably shorter causing my toes to be cramped. (because I know someone is going to think this, my feet are both the same size and I have NEVER had a problem with one shoe fitting and the other one not) I thought if I wore them for a while they would stretch/relax/fit better. THEY HAVEN'T. I have typically been very happy with Columbia clothing/shoes, but I feel the quality of these shoes is very subpar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Walt57 from Great shoe miles of travelling This is a great product. I especially like the heel as I am a bus driver and the hardline of the heel is tapered and has a real nice radius. I wore these continuously for a year. There was one small problem that developed after wearing for 9 months. After getting the shoe wet, it developed a squeak or whistle when walking until it dried out, then it was silent again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DfromVA from Best all around shoe I have ever owned Bought these at the Columbia company store in Portland, OR in June 2014. Tried on several pair of hiking sneakers and found these to fit just right (others did not). They were stiff/snug at first, and my feet were sore after a few hours of wear, but they have loosened up just enough after wearing them. I have found that I absolutely love these and would choose them as the go-to, wear-every-single-day shoe, without hesitation. They are that good. Best shoes I have ever owned. You get what you pay for and these are high quality, sturdy, lightweight, and very comfortable. Wear for casual, hiking, icy, walking, all-day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by type1trekker from Great all-purpose shoe! When I say all-purpose, I mean it. I'm a teacher in San Diego and I wear these shoes to work almost every day. They are so comfortable and very light weight. I've had them for almost a year now and still love them as much as the day I got them. I have worn these shoes to hike Mt. Whitney in a day. They held up amazingly. I used them to backpack through the Yosemite high country in late May. Water run-off was high and the shoes kept my feet completely dry. They're not the warmest shoes but a thick pair of wool socks kept my feet toasty. I also use them as approach shoes for climbing outings. The omni-grip soles keep you from slipping, making it easy to get to the base of your favorite climbs. So if you're looking for a shoe that you can wear almost anywhere, this is your best bet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cdptc from Great Shoe I bought this shoe to be my everyday shoe, not just my hiking shoe. It's a little tight but I'm sure with enough time it will stretch out. I wish they had more colors but overall a great shoe. My wife even decided to buy the men's version in a size 7 since she liked it so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OlympusRanger from Good for getting dirty on the trail These shoes are rugged and I wouldn't worry about damaging them on the trail. The mesh uppers are thinner than I thought but I've never had mesh uppers before. The outsole is great on the trail and overall the shoe is very comfortable. My big complaint is that the flat shape of the laces make them reluctant to move through the eyelets, they are difficult to wrangle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by thephotographer from Perfect all around shoe for me I find the Peakfreak perfect for what I do. I am a photography guide in Jackson Hole, home of the Grand Tetons. In the course of a day I am in and out of cars multiple times, up and down steep embankments as well as traversing rocky and soggy trails. The tread handles all with aplomb. When not guiding, I hike a lot pursuit in of my personal photography that takes to to all kinds of stupid places. I wear this shoe seven days a week. I did find the size I ordered a bit small, but as age expands my torso, my feet have been growing so this may not be a Columbia issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bob55405 from Seems to be ok Recently purchased these shoes so I can not say to much about them. Seem to be ok at the moment. The only negative is that after about 3 hours or so my feet are killing me. Hopefully its just because they are new, if not will be very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by SouthernHiker from Nearly perfect! These are the best trail shoes I have ever owned. They are comfortable, sturdy enough for the trail, and truly waterproof. Pros: (1) my feet have never been more comfortable at the end of a long day of hiking; (2) they are waterproof - I fell into an alpine lake through some snow. My shoes were soaked, but my feet stayed dry (except a little water that came over the top); (3) the soles are flexible but yet firm enough to protect your feet on the trail. Con: (1) I would like to see a little more aggressive tread (like my Innov8's). These are truly impressive shoes - I hope Columbia produces these for a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Avenom from A Good Deal This shoe fits well and is true to size. There is a small break in period for hiking but if used as regular walking shoes they will be comfortable right away. I do lots of hiking, usually in boots, but noW I will be using these shoes instead because they are much lighter and more comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enginerd from Great shoes Love these shoes so much I bought a second pair. For me, just a great around town comfortable shoe. They don't have as high of an arch to fit my foot but they're just comfortable. They have a bit of warmth and wear quite very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CR77 from Fantastic Lightweight Hiker Loving what Columbia Sportswear has done with their shoe lines over the past few years. Always comfortable & functional right out of the box. The Peakfreak Enduro OutDry is perfect for my style of hiking... a variety of moderately challenging terrain, forest trails, rocks, sand. I'm convinced this shoe will perform well on the toughest terrain too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by troxel87 from Order a size down! I typically wear a size 8, and after reading the reviews, I decided to order a size down. Probably the best choice I could have made. So... these shoes kick s$$! Lightweight, breathable, (thus far) durable, and best of all, waterproof! Not that I do a lot of running around in the water, but when it does get nasty out, I don't have to worry about swamp feet in the office! Yeah, it's that kind of office ;) All in all - no break in time, comfortable, lightweight, waterproof, ultimately an awesome shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hiker5280 from Excellent Shoe These shoes fit well and are very light. They stay cool in the summer however with a good pair of wool socks keep my feed warm and dry in the winter. The tread gives incredible traction on every surface including snow and ice. They have good cushion in the sole and are very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShoeLuvr from Comfy all purpose shoe Incredibly comfy with a grip sole like no other. The OutDry (waterproof) feature is great. If you are going to wear this shoe in colder weather though, I recommend getting a shoe with OutDry and OmniHeat as this shoe isn't particularly warm in cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NinjaCub30 from Quality is worth the price! I've purchased from Columbia previously. They tend to run a little large, so I always purchase a half-size smaller. The tread on this shoe is amazing! I walk a lot and am a mass public transit user, so I tend to go through tread quickly, but with these shoes they're staying strong and like-new longer than anticipated. Living in Portland, I walk much of the time in rainy weather. These shoes keep my feet and toes nice and warm...and DRY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bart427 from Lives up to the promise First day out with new shoes and they felt great through a good bike ride and a hike through the woods. I was so certain they were right for me I ordered two more pair as soon as I could. Dry feet. Light as a feather! We will see how well they hold up over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sontavaman from Awesome Shoe for a good price! I am very picky and demanding when it comes to shoes. I am often on my feet at work and often find myself walking through wet grass or spending long hours waiting around on a concrete floor. These shoes offer good waterproofing, and breathability. Usually its hard to get both. I have never been a fan of Merrils as the cushioning breaks down rapidly, and there never particularly well padded. Keens hiking shoes are even worse. My Danners are to hot for daily wear. But these Outdrys are awesome. The padding is stiff but rubbery offering a bit of spring in the step as well as good support. I didn’t think I would be able to order a pair of shoes and actually like them, but these are spot on. True to size also. I have been wearing them for several weeks and am pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MidMoClimber from They Run Large I havent had a chance to really try these out on a hike, but it is a good looking shoe. Wearing them around the house they have a lot of impact support on the ball of the foot. They are pretty narrow so I'm a little concerned about rolling my ankle. The biggest thing is that they run large! I read some reviews so ordered a 9 1/2 even though I usually wear at 10. I probably should have ordered a 9 though because there's a little more space than I would have liked. Overall seems like a good shoe, I'll be sure to revise this if they prove otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RayS from Perfect for me I need a stiff shoe due to a foot injury 3 years ago. I was able to wear this shoe right out of the box for 9 hours straight at work on concrete. Very comfortable with a nice stiff sole. Fits true to size for me (12). Glad I did not order next size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Conhawa from Nice Shoe I really like this shoe...Columbia definately got it right with this one. The shoe is very light and comfortable. It is waterproof using Outdry...which seems to be superior to Gore tex. I am also very impressed with the sole...it seems to grip very well. As for fit...I wear a 9.5 in every other shoe that I own. I ordered a 9.5 in this shoe, and it was too big. I re-ordered the shoe in a 9, and it fits great. Therefore....I would definitely recommend ordering a half size smaller in this shoe. I hope Columbia continues to make this shoe in the future...hopefully in more color options. I'd also like to see them offer it in wide. I have purchased nothing but Merrells for the last several years, but this shoe has converted me. Hopefully Columbia will address the sizing issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Burner30 from Super Shoes! These are the best shoes I have ever bought! I wear a 12 normally, but these in 12 were a touch big. 11-1/2 would have been better for my feet. Knowing that I would say you should buy these shoes. Hiking, walking, or otherwise.
