Men’s Peakfreak™ Venture Titanium OutDry™ Boot is rated out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by gunner5 from very comfortable I had a previous Columbia Titanium boot which I wore and abused for over ten years so when the sole fell off a few months ago I took the hint and started my search for their replacement. The new boot (Peak Freak) is a fine replacement for my usage. This is a modern boot, very light and wearable right out of the box needing very little break in. It is the most comfortable of any of my boots and hiking shoes. As for waterproofing, I haven't been in standing water yet with them but in my experience most "waterproof" boots leak given enough exposure to wetness so I am mostly focused on comfort and durability. My old Titanium boots were the absolute best on rock with a soft compound that gripped very securely. The new boots are only fair in this regard; With weight on the toe area, they will slip on smooth sloped granite. When the whole print is in touch with the rock face I don't experience as much slip but I do miss the confident grip of my old boots. If the boots hold up over time anywhere near the life of my old ones, these will prove to be a great deal for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SadaFan from Very Stylist and Functional Boot I brought this shoe just before a ski trip to Colorado. It perform beautifully in cold and very wet weather. Very light and kept my feet warm and dry in 6 inch snow and slush. I also found it very stylist (it looks great with business casual pants).

Rated 4 out of 5 by FrankHanson from Nice Hiker I have not wore them a lot - still winter up here. But in walking around and comparing to other boots I have, they are comfortable and fit about normal or true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jmkk from Year round use. I have found that I wear them all year, and they seem to be fairly durable. I will Continue to own a pair as long as they make them. Great for working, very light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tjaden from Best boots very comfortable Love these boots, they are so comfortable and the traction Sticks to everything, I haven’t worn them in a heavy down pour yet but what I saw during a moderate rain fall they kept me dry and warm. So say to slip on and they form to your foot nice and tight but not uncomfortable tight.awesome boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BamaBob from Light and Comfortable This boot is extremely comfortable and sizing was spot on. Not clunky. Almost a tennis shoe quality to them. I was surprised by how lightweight they were when I first put them on. The only negative was the picture on website makes the boot look all black but it came with a charcoal grayish look to it on the sides. Still, this is the the most awesome boot I've ever purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1lifeliveit from Men’s Peakfreak Venture Titanium OutDry Boot Phenomenal boots. Great traction in the snow, comfortable enough that I wear them for work, hiking and around town. Honestly do not believe that I have ever received so many compliments about any pair of shoes/boots I have ever worn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LazyK from Great Waterproof Boat! These waterproof boats work great for offshore fishing in cold weather. Wore them for the first time yesterday and they kept my feet dry and warm. The no skid soles are perfect for wearing in a boat. I found them to be very comfortable and lightweight. Even though I bought them for fishing in cold weather, I would also use them for my next hiking trip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Edyta from Plastic all around These felt rubbery plastic almost like rain boots on the outside. I didn’t care for the materials. Sure they may be waterproof but you might as well wear rain boots. They flexed funny, with bending points, basically did not move on your feet/ankles. Definitely not for hiking! I returned theses after I tried them on for 1min.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nations from Perfect for all seasons. Just bought these for new work boots. Soon to be cold, needed something waterproof and great high ankle support. The Peak Freak are perfect. I'll never go back to the traditional slip on boots! Already fully submerged under water, no leaks! Feet stay nice and toasty! Purchased these on a half off sale, that always helps!!! Love the brand!!! Made tough!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RockGuy from great boot very water proof HI I haven't had these very long but so far they are great.I had to hose them off after an unfortunate missstep and accidently ended sprayingthe top of the foot part on hi pressure no a drop leaked in. I am a geologist and am oft3en off the trail bushwacking and on steep slopes. The high cuffadds to the stbility of the boot. whci I need becasue i have shredded achilles tendons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bigbarrettbob from NOT "COMPLETELY" WATERPROOF I Live in WA state and it rains here all winter so i needed a waterproof boot. These say they are "OUT DRY Completely Waterproof" but just like the other review I read, they aren't. Water/moisture does seep through the top of the toe of the boot unfortunately. Which is a critical flaw in my opinion. Too bad because they are extremely comfortable, have excellent grip and look great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Deano60 from Did not keep me dry The overal fit and comfort of this shoe was perfect. Used these shoes everyday while hiking along the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesoata for 10 days. There is dew every morning in the woods along the shore and it rained a few times. The Omni Grip performed well on wet and lichen covered rocks, was happy with that. However, did not keep me dry. The very front of the shoe is fabric where water soaked through and my toes and socks were wet every time. Because of that my overal rating is poor.
