Rated 2 out of 5 by Roadtoad2000 from Terrible quality After a couple of weeks, the top, where the ankle met the shoe, started to fray. Continued to wear them on a 600 miles walk and by then the soles were completely worn. Threw them away immediately after. Good thing they were on sale - seems like Columbia products are only worth half their MSRP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JBam from Great all around shoe for hiking, running & errands My normal foot size is an 8.5, but according to Columbia's fit guide I'm a size 9 so that is what I ordered. Fits great! This shoe is durable and light which makes it perfect for running on the treadmill at the gym and holding up to the more demanding use of hiking as well. The style is casual enough if you're just running around town doing errands too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by BarefootGuy from Buying Shoes Without Trying is Risky They looked to be good quality and functional, but I'll never know because they didn't fit. Cost $13 to return. Lesson learned: shoes are not one of the things to be bought on the internet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by outdoorsallthetime from Everyday Shoe The fit was true to size. Good traction and a light shoe. I have been wearing them as an everyday shoe. I have started to notice some crinkling at the front of shoe. I don't know if it lead to a defect in the shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by crcs from Returned There was something bothering me midfoot even with thick hiking socks. I realized that the inner lining only goes halfway, the other half is only the outer shell. So I returned them. The Outdry version was much more comfortable because the inner lining goes all the way to the front.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Boltfan21 from Decent Shoe Decent fit. Only worn once for about 2 hours, but did not give me the new show pains and did not need to be broke in. Lightweight and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ProfRamsey from Literally the best shoe I've ever bought I bought this pair of shoes from Dick's before going on a mission trip to Haiti. I knew I'd be going in some rough and remote areas and I asked the sales person for something that was light, comfortable, dried out easily, easy-on and easy-off, fit well, rugged with good traction. I thought I was asking for too much and for sure would spend over $100.00. However, neither was true! This is quite literally the best show I've ever owned. In the past year, its been in Haiti 3X,it has crossed rivers, trekked through mud, (and other disgusting things) over really rough and rocky mountain trails in Haiti and Arizona, etc. I keep thinking its going to wear out, strings, loops, soles will break our become unstitched or what not. Nothing, with the exception of a small amount of wear on the soles #almost inperceptible) these shoes look as good and feel as good as the day bought them a year ago. They feel soo good I use them as running shoes when I hit the local forest preserve or even on the treadmill at the gym. Never thought I'd write a shoe review but couldn't help myself. Keep up the good work, Columbia!

Rated 4 out of 5 by streeturchin from nice trail shoes I normally buy men's 8.5 medium shoes as these are. However, they feel a bit snug, perhaps that's because my old shoes had a lot of miles on them. Coincidentally, I had my feet measured last night and they are 8's. I've only a few hours at work and a couple of miles on them, so its hard to rate them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by David78 from Poor design I bought these online for my husband as I really liked the style and color. When he tried them on, he was complaining that there was a weird, slightly painful feeling going across his foot near his toes. Upon further inspection, there is a piece of what feels like plastic where the mesh cloth meets the leather by the laces. We ended up returning these to the Columbia store and checked to see if it was just this one or all. Unfortunately it appeared in all of the shoes in that line.
