Men’s PHG Stealth Shot™ III Pant is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feel good Normally I wear large (34) but large was actually an XL in fit. Sent them back and got medium. They are tighter and may not allow room for thicker base layer but the way they feel and wear, may not need as heavy a base layer. They feel good and heavier than expected and looking forward to wearing them hunting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and dry! These are warm and dry. Hunted with them twice now. First time out hit target and had to carry deer from trail. Got bloody, but threw it in the wash and came out like new. Stayed warm in 15 degree weather during morning hunt in Northern Michigan. Would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silent and warm These pants are very quiet maneuvering through the woods even all the way down to the buttons for the pockets. They are very warm and comfortable as well. Couldn’t be happier

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect pair of hunting pants! I was in need of new hunting gear and a friend of mine suggested these pants. I thoroughly enjoy them, so much that I purchased all my hunting clothes from Columbia. These pants are light weight, durable, and warm, everything I was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value Bought these pants for spring Turkey hunt. I had temperatures of 5 deg. Celcius with light to medium rain and they kept me warm and dry. I wish they had a jacket with a built in hood to match (and on sale). I usually buy pants in the 34"W X 30"L but after reading other reviews about how big the sizes are, I went with the small as they were out of mediums. The smalls fit perfect on the length and just a bit tight in the waist. (Im 165lbs. and they would fit great if I lost a couple pounds). The quality is excellent and they were fairly silent. My hunting partner also remarked at how well I was caomoflaged. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizing Info I wish people would write practical reviews so here is my attempt. I only found one practical review referencing sizing but I had to go on the Columbia.com cuz the Canadian site and US are not in synch but should and could not find anyone that could write a review to help others on sizing and Columbia's chart is pretty general. Bare with me and pardon me if my English is not up to par for I am a French Canadian. I am 5'8" and between 190-195 lbs. The pants/jeans wear are 34 waist and 30 in seam. I bought the Men’s PHG Stealth Shot III Pants in Large. I only found one review (not that great) referencing size that I could use with the assistance of Columbia’s chart to help me figure out the best size for me. I am 34 waist, 30 inseam, 5’8”, 190-195 lbs. The chart and the only review that could help me, pointed towards the Large. When I got them, the look, materials and quality are quality. In terms of noise when brushing against branches, I would give it a solid 7.5 out 10, which was exactly what I was expecting from the material. They are a little stiff due to the Omni-Heat interior and thick quality material but keep in mind that they were not worn-in yet. I have many different top brand name hunting gear and these pants seem awesome. I also ordered the Widgeon Turbo Liner, Widgeon III Bib, Stealth Shot III Rain Jacket, Stealth Shot III Insulated Jacket and will order the Widgeon Wader Shell soon, which I will supply my best review, especially after using them in the bush hunting. Now, when I put them over what I was already wearing, which were jeans and a belt. Even with a pair of jeans, they were very loose, to the point that they were not tight or even snugging lightly my waist. They were dropping a bit. From the review I could find and Columbia's chart the large would of been great with a base layer or two but NO. Unless you want very loos they are great. They would be perfect for someone with 36-37 waist. because the elastic waist band give the person some loose to have 1 or two think base layers. The length was good for even a 5'8" person because when you crouch they do not run up over your boots. I found the length ok for people of 5'7" to 5'8", Perfect for 5'9" to 5'11". The Large at 36-39 waist gives you at full waist stretch a 43" waist because of the elastic waist band on the sides. The perfect candidate for these pants in Large with up to two base layers would be 36"-38" waist and between 5'8" to 5'11". I figure that if the Large gave you and extra 3”-4” due to the elastic waist band on the sides, the Medium should basically give an extra 3”, giving me a full waist of at least 38”…. which would be perfect for me but we will see. When I get them, I will let you all know. In terms of quality, I did not have the chance to wear them in the bush but they looked very well built AND they also have Odor Control Technology, which they forgot to mention in the Features?? I hope my review helped and if you write a review, please try to make it useful for others. Cheers and good and safe hunting guys!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little short I would love to give these pants an overall "Excellent" review as they are true to size and everything else about them is great. However, being true to size is not always the best thing for the product. As an avid hunter, I prefer to have my pants an inch or two longer than a "normal" pant, as there times when you need to "high knee" it through thick brush or sit with bent knees for long times. Because of these scenarios, the pant leg tends to ride up the boot more than would be desired. To be fair, because of waist size, I needed to order a medium and being 6'1" could be the reason I ran into this problem. But, I'm sure most hunters would agree that a little extra in length would be a good thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from highly recommended I am an avid hunter and need clothing that is quiet, warm, wind and water resistant, scent inhibiting and easy to clean - and I found it with the Stealth Shot. I had purchased an Under Armour product for the same weather and temperature but found them too noisy. I am 5'10 with a 34" waist and I was hoping for a little extra room to wear over thick long underwear and with size L the fit is perfect. Typically I have a 30" inseam and there's a little extra room there but it's not a factor - taller people would do fine with L as well. I was plenty warm with a thin long john underneath with temperature hovering near freezing. The pant kept wind out and I was dry in a drizzle. If it started to rain heavily I have Wigeon rain pants in my pack.... I had to track a deer I had shot and I was silent - even in the thick bush - and I got a little messy during the recovery and cleaning but a quick rinse in the washing machine and the Blood and Guts line lived up to it's reputation. I matched the pants with a PHG softshell jacket over a Titanium fleece and was warm and dry all day. I also had the stealth shot rain jacket in my pack to wear with the Wigeon pants if it rained in earnest. We can't spend time in the woods if we are not comfortable and the Columbia lineup keeps getting better!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile Product I bought this cuz I needed good Camo for rainy day use. The fit is true and the construction is top notch. I was able to put these pants on without taking off my hiking boots(Med pant with Size 10 boots). The omni-heat liner is a plus and the side pockets are convenient. I haven't gutted a deer yet so the jury is still out on the Blood & Guts stain resistance. Omni-Dry is a good waterproofing product, but for a garment to be truly 100% waterproof the seams must be taped. I do not see any evidence of the seams being taped so I consider this to be highly water resistance. I would not expect it to keep me completely dry while spending an entire day roaming the woods in the rain. That being said I will still wear it in a rain storm cuz I can always pull on a poncho if necessary. I've been wearing them on cold days as low as 33 deg F and also on sunny days as warm as 55, they are both warm and breathable when combined with synthetic or wool base layers (a must for comfort). I found the pants to be fairly quiet while moving around compared to some cheaper styles from competitors that I've tried on. This piece is a welcome addition to my closet full of hunting clothing/gear
