Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! Not too bulky, very warm. I use it for below freezing days, very practical to have a 2 in 1 jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat for brutal NE winters! I bought this coat for my husband to use while snowblowing and cleaning up the snow after our many snowstorms. He reports it is extremely warm and waterproof. I bought an XL since other Columbia products I bought fit a little small and it fits roomy which he likes. Great coat for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product is very warm and has great features Excellent coat for warmth and fit. The main zipper could be made much heavier - it is too thin and appears flimsy. This zipper is also hard to engage but I really like the overall quality of the coat. One thing that I did notice is that around the neck area dirt accumulates on the cost's surface from body oils, sweat, etc. very quickly. Overall I strongly recommend this coat but would like to see the improvement in the zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ada I gave this jacket to my husband as a gift as he accidentally damaged his previous Columbia Sportwear Jacket. He really liked that jacket and so I wondered whether this would be a suitable exchange. He loves it! It is waterproof, warm, looks great on him and serves his purposes. I, and he, would definitely recommend this all-purpose jacket, especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpectedly Great! I bought this jacket by chance. In November, I invested in a long wool coat that did the job. With a scarf, it kept me warm and was great. My family travels to Orlando every year for Christmas. If you've been to Orlando or Central Florida in December, you know that the temperature could range anywhere from gorgeous and mid-70s or cold and a high of 45! On December 23rd, I made a decision. I would need a jacket to wear down and to have with me in case the temps plummeted. I didn't want to lug around a long wool coat, so I went to the sports store and looked for a jacket. As you could expect on December 23rd, the inventory was limited. I found this Columbia jacket. At first, I wasn't crazy about the mirrored interior. I tried on a medium and it felt snug. I went a size up to a large. The sleeves were a little long, but it felt great. Long story short, I didn't need it on the trip (it was in the 80s!) but this jacket has been the best purchase all winter. New York has seen extremely low temperatures this winter. The temperature hasn't been above 20 degrees in weeks. Initially, I thought I would just wear this jacket when it rained or snowed. I love my wool coat, but it is open in the front and even with a scarf, the cold wind goes right through it. This jacket covers my chest and prevents any wind from breaking through. It zips up to my chin and it has an elastic bottom that keeps wind from blowing in from the bottom. Your entire torso is covered and kept insulated. THis jacket was about $100 cheaper than my wool coat and it works better. Even with a -10 windchill, I stay warm!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket but runs small The jacket is really nice. All the features I was looking for. Nice cargo packets in the front for gloves. Nice lined waist pockets. The waist and chest fit was very good, but it runs small in the shoulders and arms. I find it constricting when driving or any other outdoor activities that require a lot of arm movement. I would not consider this a 4-season jacket. But a really nice 3-season jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first Columbia coat and I love it!! Its been a week wearing my first Columbia coat in a super cold winter here in NYC and I could not be happier! The weather has been in the low 20's and today only 8 degrees this morning. I was nice and toasty in this coat while walking. I wanted a coat longer then stopping at my waist or belt line and this coat is thigh level which im happy with. The size is true to size Im a small guy and wanted a medium I felt a small would be too tight if I have extra layers on or a large sweater. The coat does look thin but trust me its warm! Very light easy coat to wear not big or bulky at all. Took me couple of times to get use to the zipper lol thought I was stuck in it one time. But im very happy to have caught this on sale for a 100 bucks and just love this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent winter wear I purchased this coat for our unpredictable Michigan winters. It is very warm and comfortable. It has plenty of pockets for glove and hat storage. The only long term problem question I may have is the main zipper. It has zipped the edge of the jacket a couple of times within the zipper.....it was easily unjambed although could potentially ruin the coats use. I am 6-0, 180# with broad shoulders. This coat has plenty of arm length and body size even while wearing a office sweater in it. The coat is tall which keeps the wind out. The attached hood / hat works well to keep the cold wind out. I would definately recommend this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I love Columbia coats they have never let me down with the quality and functionality. No other competitor can come close I don't care what they do. This jacket feels great and looks great I get a lot of complements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I just picked up this jacket from the Columbia Employee Store here in Portland. It was a great deal at $104, but certainly worth the full $200. I've only had it for the day, but I am very satisfied. It is keeping me very warm tonight in the 30's and think it would do well much colder than that. I picked this jacket over the others in the store because it is less bulky and more stylish than the other jackets they offer. It has a more urban design that doesn't look like I'm wearing a ski jacket. The design is very much improved over the good Columbia interchange jacket I got a few years ago. Some of the things that I like about this jacket is the warmth provided by the Omni heat technology and the less bulky design. It also has a lot of pockets in the places that you'd want them. It also isn't as hot in warm conditions. My old Columbia would make me sweat when I wore it indoors for a few minutes. This one seems to be much more comfortable in varying climates. Overall, a great winter coat that feels very comfortable and well made. Columbia makes fantastic products and this is no exception.
