Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't Let Rain Keep You Inside Bought these rainpants for my husband bc he got soaking wet on a hike without any while I stayed toasty and dry. Now we're both dry on rainy hikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain Gear This is the second part to the jacket I bought. They fit perfect & are waterproof. Which is what I needed to walk home from work in the rain. Very happy.

Date published: 2017-10-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is perfect for rainwear but runs too long If you are 5''7 just pick a S size.
Date published: 2017-09-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rebel Review I've used this rain pant on several snowy, muddy hikes and love them. They keep my legs dry and warm. Love them. But, not having pockets or a zipper makes them pretty inconvenient to wear. Your choice; price vs. convenience.
Date published: 2017-09-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok Runs large and the legs are too wide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and dry! Definitely worth the money. Kept me dry and also thin enough to pack nice and tight to save on space. Very good quality product!
Date published: 2017-08-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! These will come in very handy when the weather is rainy where I usher football games. I can't wait to stay dry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry even under hard rain I work at RDU airport and use my pants for rainy days. Never wet with them always dry even under the strongest thunderstorm. They are great!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Pants on the cheap These pants do the job - wore these to iceland. Will keep you dry and somewhat warm (with another pair of pants or long johns underneath). The waist can be slightly snug (especially if you are wearing a pair of pants under these). Also there are no pockets - which is a huge drag unless you wear a sweater with pockets. But they are affordable compared to the northface equivalent and get the job done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looking forward to testing it Purchased for Antarctic expedition, so hope it will do the job. I would have liked to have it a bit slimmer cut, and perhaps a couple of pockets.
Date published: 2017-06-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Rain Pants Love these Rain Pants they are breathable and keep you extra dry and they do not take up a lot of space in you bag. I have ordered a second pair as well. I order one size bigger than I usually wear so they would fit over anything I have on.
Date published: 2017-06-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof pants Nice, smooth fit. Velcro adjustable at bottom of pants. Elastic at hips. No zipper, no pockets. That's ok for me.
Date published: 2017-06-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love..Em! Have not wore these yet. But, I am on my 2nd pair in several years. What I will miss in the new pair are the side pockets in my older pair. I wear these bad boys in the winter. Living in MN there perfect wearing over jeans or dress pants. I wait for the bus outside they keep me warm and dry during below zero wind chills. Everybody at the bus are freezing, but not me, warm and snug as a bug. Other people are jealous!!! Also, I wear them hiking during the winter and I can be out for hours and not be cold. They keep me warm and dry just what is needed....Love Em!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Great quality for low price.
Date published: 2017-04-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and dry Great rain pants, they are warm so don't expect them to breathe at all. If I had to pick a negative it would be no pockets but other than that they are great.
Date published: 2017-03-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry even in the Antarctic! These rain pants were amazing. They kept me totally dry during our Antarctica trip - rain, snow, sleet, etc. Totally recommend them!
Date published: 2017-01-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for rain Wore these in many storms and down pours and stayed dry!!
Date published: 2017-01-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Draw string will not stay tight I wish I could attach the sides or back to inside the jacket
Date published: 2016-12-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish it had pockets This is a very good product and functions as detailed in the description. It Keeps me dry in inclement wheather. Once I am indoors, I tend to keep them on over my pants all day. It feels completely comfortable. The only thing, I wish it had pockets.
Date published: 2016-12-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from works well keeps the rain off, in conjunction with rubber boots and a rain jacket can go splashing though the puddles for hours and stay totally dry. the lack of pockets as others mention doesn't matter at all--jackets have pockets, right?!
Date published: 2016-12-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well; would work better if slightly longer This rain pants work well; I would have liked the length to be an inch or longer. They are used for riding a bike on a commute to classes and work. While pedaling, the leg rises somewhat , having slightly longer length would not expose the ankle in such a manner. However I really like them
Date published: 2016-11-27
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing It needs two side pockets and better string to tie
Date published: 2016-11-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rain Pants W/O a pocket Why would you design a pair of pants without a single pocket..DAH I give up
Date published: 2016-10-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not what I expected for the price I was looking for a lightweight solid packable rain pant. The product is lightweight but seems to be a sub-average rain pant that I could purchase at a box store for 1/4 of the price. This product does not have pockets, nor does it have access to pockets. Other competitors have the same product, with pockets, and side zippers for easy access to pull over boots. Although this product does have an expanded velcro on the bottom that allows you to slip these over shoes, they will not slide over boots. Competitors sale the same product with the above mentioned attributes for $35 when this product sales for $50. I am a Columbia fan but not happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring on the fishing I purchased these pants to wear while salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska, and to also wear while walking my dog during the Willamette Valley rains. As a size 16 woman, these men's large rain pants fit great over my jeans and are still roomy enough not to bind. I can't wait to try them out. Bring on the rain!!
Date published: 2016-09-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small and no pockets My old pair finally gave way so I got these... super let down, no pocket access and runs way to small, and I have chicken legs. Columbia stick with what works.
Date published: 2016-06-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was it even raining?? Worked 3 out of 5 days in the rain at the NY Botanical Garden. Torrential downpours while transplanting trees. I never got wet. You might feel it's a bit thin for the temp, just layer up underneath which might make it snug. But the layering was not totally necessary. A big difference. Amazing!!
Date published: 2016-04-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Very lightweight, fits over work clothes. Keeps my husband totally dry as he works outside.
Date published: 2016-04-08
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too big Big enough for two of us with room to run around. Expected to be a little bigger to wear over pants but these were unusable. Had to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from roamer rain wear pants Great product excellent quality-true to size
Date published: 2016-03-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I could wish for I have only had to use the rain pants once on my morning walk, but they performed perfectly, did not leak or sweat, and I am pleased with the fit and quality.
Date published: 2016-02-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I walk everywhere, rain or shine, sometimes ten to twelve miles a day. I was looking for an affordable pair of rain pants that would keep me dry, and were also breathable. I searched for a long time. I went back and forth between more of a snow/ski pant, and these, but in the end, all I really needed was a pair of rain pants, and a pair that wouldn't leave my wallet empty. I wear a size Large in a 30 length, and the pants I ordered fit perfectly. I like watching the rain just bead right off these pants. They are very comfortable, and even have velcro to keep them snug around my boots. Without a pair of pants like these, I would be unable to walk as far as I do when it's pouring rain. I always wear a base layer under these pants when it's freezing cold, and I stay dry and they breathe well enough that I am not sweating. The pants have a draw-cord if you were to need to tighten the pants from the (front) inside, but with the Large and the size of my waist, I don't even need to use it. No pockets, but that doesn't bother me, as I usually keep items in my jacket or backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants I bought these due to having to work out in the weather. Theses pants performed great. They were easy to put on over my regular uniform pants and I had no problem getting them on with my work boots on. They do not restrict my movement in any way and keep me from sweating like conventional rain suits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Suggest These are thin and rainproof. They kill the wind chill. I ride to/from work daily. Wet or cold, they rock. Super durable ride after ride. Rolls up nice n small, and fits in a sall pocket in my pack when not in use. A must have.
Date published: 2015-12-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Basic Rain pant These rain pants work well. I have used them for a month while guiding in S.E. Alaska. They sweat a little bit on the inside, but I was also using them in some fairly wet conditions
Date published: 2015-09-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable and Great wet weather pant. Just wish it had pockets. If it had pockets, I would rate it a 5 star product. Either way, gets the job done and has plenty of room to over over baggy or multi-layered pants. Completely happy with this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer Fishing I bought the Rebel Roamer pants for summer fishing here in Georgia because they're light weight. I find them to be perfect for a hot rainy tournament. Very comfortable and waterproof.
Date published: 2015-08-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from hot weather pants Finest hot weather pants on the market, light weight, dry instantly and breath. When blood or anything spills on them, just wipe it off! I am a professional fishing guide and need pants that are light weight and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain pant Excellent product, reliable and very long lasting. Therefore, I have not seen any other product competing with this one. Columbia makes great things.
Date published: 2015-07-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye bye water! Great pants to keep on the boat, back of the truck/car to throw on to keep you dry. I use these pants mostly while fishing and it light and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly waterproof Wear these 4-wheeling in WV and they keep me dry from the rain, the mud puddles, and anything else that might get me wet. Highly recommend these pants.
Date published: 2015-07-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from REBEL ROAMER RAIN PANTS great fit and comfortable to wear. It could use pockets and zipper in the front which would make it possibly the best rain pants I have owned.
Date published: 2015-04-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Pant. After ordering the Watertight II Rain Jacket, I wanted rain pants as well, so I figured I would try these out. My hope is that it will live up to the qualities that it advertises during those rainy camping times. However, it would have been nicer if they would have came in a longer leg than the 36 inch inseam the XLT that I ordered has. But for the purposes which I bought them, being a couple of inches short should work out just fine.
