Men’s Redrock Falls™ Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cold / Mild Weather Jacket This is one of the best jackets that I've ever owned and can handle cold weather as well as damp mid-temp weather. The zipper at the top and the hood shape create keep out a lot of wind while allowing only blocking a little vision. The material inside and out feels really good and sturdy at the same time. Great amount of pockets and locations. My only wish is that the zipper came up from the bottom but given that the jacket isn't that long it doesn't make a big difference. This is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great light insulated jacket i am always warm and hate bulky coats this provides a very comfortable light weight jacket. under 20F you will need to wear a layer under.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What's with the hood I have other Columbia coats and each style fits differently. Got an XL and the sleeves are a little too long. Biggest complaint is the hood, for it to be worn at all, you need to wear a baseball cap so it doesn't fall over the eyes. There are no drawstrings to tighten it. The only way to keep it on your head is to place your hands in your pockets and push down on the coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great Dry/warm jacket Fit, look is perfect, the dryness, the warmth is even better, great product again from Columbia. love Omni tech, Omni heat, etc.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Light weight, keeps the warmth in, no wind is going to get through. I am staying warm and able to move.
Date published: 2018-01-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, Cozy, and good looking This has kept me dry in the snow and light rain as well as warm, even in near 0 degree F weather. My one complaint might be the noisiness of the material, which is a challenge for many if not all jackets of this type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket Redrock Falls is a great jacket. It fits comfortably at medium and it's not too tight in the hips like some Columbia jackets can be at this size. I'm 5'6 and about 150-160 lbs. and it is perfect. The fact that it is waterproof and cuts the wind down while having omniheat makes it my go to for most days. It fits well under my Columbia Powder Down Jacket when I want to double up when snow blowing, hiking in severe cold, or being outside at work with students. We have been having an unusual cold spell here in NJ and it’s warmer enough where I can go out for a few minutes, even at 5 degrees with a negative wind chill. It’s probably best for sustained temperures of 40 degrees and up when you are outside for a while. Also, lots of pockets and great storage, hood fits close enough, and the blue color is great! I liked it so much I ordered extra!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jacket, red color not so cool Size comes runs bit larger, which requires to wear an extra layer (i.e. sweater) for a comfortable and warm wearing. Red color looks much better on the website than in the actual product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chewy on the coast Coat purchase as a Christmas present for my son who Loved it. The color was perfect for a rain coat it seemed thicker Which would help with the wind on the coast
Date published: 2017-12-20
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine jacket Great for the price (on sale at $70 which was half off). Does not appear to me to be fully waterproof (more like resistant) but I didn't test it. It runs large - as in wide. It's better suited for a thick guy. I returned it because it was too big in the body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Does a great job at keep me warm and it isn’t bulky at all. It’s a comfortable and good looking jacket. Very happy with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket I’ve Owned I was skeptical of this jacket. I live in Misssissippi and winters aren’t particularly cold. This jacket has kept me warm but not too hot. Also wore it in temps reaching teens and it was perfect then, with only a base-layer under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highschool Student Bought this for my 15yr old son who is very picky about how bulky his jacket is. He loved it! Not bulky and can wear hoodie underneath for extra warmth. For some one so picky he seems satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Jacket I purchased the jacket for Christmas for my son, but due to us going walking in Christmasville to see the lights I gave it to him early. Its true to size and always a good purchase with Columbia brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed Picture is completely misleading. I ordered what it seemed a dark grey/red jacket and what I got is a light grey/brick orange one. Totally different look. I dislike orange. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product light weight bought it to use as a construction work jacket. it is not strong enough material for that use. also I am not a fan of hoods especially ones that are not detachable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice light winter coat for our climate We live in the high desert of New Mexico. The temperature can change from very cold to quite warm in the course of a morning. This is a great coat for this climate as it works well for layering. It is lightweight, but warm with the reflective lining. So, you can wear if over layers and take it off when the day warms and it is not too heavy to carry. Also a nice turquoisey color that my husband loves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed by the warmth! I bought my husband one also! I bought this coat for my 16 yr. old son. A teen that barely wears coats...BUT...he loves it and wears it all the time! He hates bulky winter jackets, but this one isn't bulky, true to size and he stays warm! Actually my husband tried this on, he was also impressed...so I bought him one too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket The Omni-Heat and Omni-Tech keeps the person warm while not allowing water to penetrate. It can be pouring and the jacket does not allow water to go in. It is practical with the two outside pockets and one inside pocket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket and features This is my first jacket with the omni thermal heat ; and to be a lightweight jacket , it is way more than I expected. I absolutely love this jacket , it is very comfortable and lightweight but suprisingly warm. It has been down in the 20's to 30's where I live and a long sleeve shirt and this jacket is all you need. Very impressed with the quality and I will definitely recommend this product to everyone. Thanks Columbia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redrock Falls Jacket I spent a lot of time researching the perfect jacket for a trip to Seattle in the winter. I needed the right combination of a rain protection with warmth. I needed something more than a shell and less that something designed for the ski slopes. I consulted with a staff individual from the Seattle store and she recommended the Redrock Falls jacket. I could not be more pleased. It keeps the wet out and provides warmth without the bulkiness of a snow jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just order it. Well let’s see, where do I start......I have been a self proclaimed “gear head” for many years now so I do have a little experience in gear performance and workmanship. That being said, this jacket has exceeded any expectations I may have had before. It’s a little more than just a “shell” And a little less than “too much”. I have been a fan of Columbia for quite some time and find their products reasonably priced and well made as well as great performers in the city, field, water, and backcountry. This item is no exception. So .......just order it. In my opinion, you will be happy will your purchase. I certainly was. I hope this helps anyone who’s on the fence about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a Titanium Jacket I just got this jacket and am debating returning it as I think it looks and feels a bit cheap and not worth the price-point. I got this jacket to replace my old Columbia Titanium "Stormin Warm" Jacket. I loved and wore my previous jacket quite often fall through spring in Portland, KS, and Northern California, but after 4 years the zipper would no longer stay zipped and I finally sent it in to the warranty department this year. The warranty department gave me a credit for it rather than just fixing the zipper. My previous jacket was superior to this one in a lot of ways, as this jacket LACKS: - adjustable cuffs (these cuffs look kind of cheap and are not adjsutable) - removable, adjustable hood (also cheaper feeling closure) - waterproof zipper - underarm venting - quality overall look and feel This jacket does, however, have the Omniheat lining down the sleeves of the jacket, which my previous jacket did not have - a nice surprise. I was really torn on getting this jacket vs the "OutDry ExGold Insulated" (which does cost more), but couldn't get past its high sheen / reflectivity of the OutDry fabric in the pictures; had that jacket not looked so shiny, that would have been my choice. I got this jacket in black, and maybe should have gone w the mystery color instead, as the all black color design seems pretty plain on me... issues w online shopping (no Columbia store near me). I ordered a size medium which fits me pretty well at 5'10" and 165 lbs. I am going to give this jacket a few days to see if it grows on me, but may end up returning and seeing if the "OutDry ExGold Insulated" is as shiny as it looks in the pictures instead of sticking with this one. If you are able to go and try on this jacket at a store, you will be able to tell if it is what you want and expect. However, if you are like me and couldn't try it out before purchasing, you may also be disappointed. I don't know why I am marked as an "Incentivized Review" as Columbia is not reimbursing me in any way..
