Rated 4 out of 5 by Pilgrimpete from Great boots until they leak I really liked these boots but they don't seem to last much past their warranty. They are warm and dry when new but I found that just past the one year mark, the rubber sole under the toes would wear out and then the foam insulation would start to absorb water when it rained. They also got cold inside when it was dry but cold out. Columbia were kind enough to replace them the first time but not the second. That is fair but I would probably look elsewhere for something to last more than a year. I wear them five days a week in the cold/wet but work a desk job so they are not exactly being worn out from hiking. I have no idea why the sole wears out in that spot. Still, they are very comfortable and warm while the rubber is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Socalguy1334 from True to size It is true to your foot size so don't trust any other review which tells it is snug and you buy half size bigger, it is very nicely designed shoes and actually looks quite good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hanimal from Great boot but one glaring problem I purchased this boot a week prior to the snowstorm that hit the northeast. I am not a hiker or outdoorsman, I simply needed the boot for the rough winter weather in NYC. As far as outdoor city use, the boot is AMAZING. Boots are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day with no problem. The boots are great in the snow, slush, and even ice. The boots gave me great footing outdoors and I didn't slip at all even though most people did. They are waterproof and keep my feet very warm and dry without the need for thick socks or wearing two pairs of socks. The major glaring problem came indoors. If the boots are wet and you step on tile indoors, especially heavy duty glazed tile like the city uses in it's subway stations, the boots are extremely slippery to the point where I almost fell a few times. I realized as long as I wipe the boots on something to get rid of excess water from the bottom they are fine and I regained normal footing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SSIKWP from SO Far So Good I purchased these to to wear after two harsh winters in the Midwest. Also went up 1/2 size to offset the reviews of this product running a bit small. After an early significant snow fall of near 8-10 inches in the Chicago land Area used already. Have performed well so far feet are warm and boots are comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SnowyDay from Waterproof and stable I purchased these to walk to work during New Jersey's winter. I ordered my usual size 7 and had to return for an 8.5 to accommodate my foot length, thicker insoles and heavy socks. The width was fine both ways. That aside, the tread is safe and sturdy on slippery and uneven surfaces. The boots are completely waterproof...I walked through puddles to make sure. :) The insoles can be swapped out if you have an orthotic or another preference. The boots are warm enough in 10 degree weather while walking and I wear heavy socks. I can't speak to how warm they'd be while standing for long periods in cold weather. Well-made, glad I bought them and I anticipate wearing them for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sieglick from Perfect Winter Boots I Wear these boots daily in Chicago's winter months. Its nice having boots that are a little shorter than the Bugaboos. My foot is size 15 but based upon past experience I bought 16's. This gives me a little wiggle room and should I Want to wear thicker socks I can do it. I am grateful that Columbia has provided a comfortable and affordable boot for those of us with big feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by YellowstoneDeputy from Great Shoe At A Great Price This shoe took a day or two to break in but after that it was great. I wear a size 12 and these are a little snug but after the break in period they seem fine. I have been wearing them in 30 to -15 degree weather. They do get a little cold around the toes if your standing in snow for a long period, however I have been wearing cotton socks. With some wool socks they would probably be better. Currently these are daily wear shoes and I wouldn't change a thing. They feel very durable and I think they will last a long time. The only thing I wish is they had them in size 12 1/2.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DCBoomerSK from Warm, runs big Contrary to the only other review I see here, my experience with these boots is that they run a little big. I've worn a 9.5 in everything from running shoes to work shoes for years. These will be OK with thick wool socks, but would never work with regular socks. Other than that, a quality boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Waterworld from Good motion control, Size 14 Runs One Size Small These have good motion control with a nice, stiff sole. They're comfortable right away, there's a convenient loop for pulling them on. They're waterproof. They are advertised as warm but seem a little cool wearing them in cool, not cold weather. I always wear size 14D. Size 15D fits perfectly.
