Rated 5 out of 5 by Fernan from Favorite shirt Simply my favorite! I have all colors. Now my two brother in law are starting their own collection after I bought them two each. The trick is for us three not to wear the same shirt in any given gatherings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DarthWookiee from Great Shirt For those living in the South with days that the temperature can vary by 30 degrees on the same day, shirts like this are necessary. Very comfortable and cool, and LOVE that it is wrinkle free without looking cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martin1789 from light and cool This shirt is light to wear and very comfortable. I use this shirt on the water fishing and while quail hunting in the brush. The long sleeves keeps the sun off of you but doesn't heat you up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rab1567 from great shirt I ordered this shirt online without trying in on in a store first. The material feels great and was true to size. I plan on ordering more of a different color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NAVYMAMA from GREAt SHIRT FOR OUTDOORS I purchased the shirt On-Line. It arrived within few days on time for Christmas. It is of the very best quality. I sent it to my son stationed in the military in rough climate and he was overjoyed. One thing I wish though is that the shirt was nicely pressed in your factory before packaging because it arrived all "SHRIVELED" and I had to press it to give it some shape before sending it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rexxx from great shirt This shirt is one of my favorite cuts that Columbia makes. I own this shirt in plaids and solids. I wear them at work and outside. Don't change it Columbia and just make more colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by joebobb from Good Button Down But A Little Small First, the good. It is like most of Columbia's button down shirts. Comfortable to wear, but does not seem to be as roomy as the Tamiami line of shirts. Prefer those. The bad, for me, runs a bit tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IsaacR from Great Shirt! I have gotten this shirt in all three of the colors. They are comfortable enough to wear all day, whether hiking, sitting around a fire, sitting around the house, or to work. The sweat wicking and breathability works great. I can bike around, or to and from work, and the shirt looks just as clean as when I put it on in the morning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kryztof from classy and comfortable So light that I prefer to wear it rather than put sunscreen. Gives a hiker look with class. Dries quickly. My only concern was size : I took small size while I usually take medium size. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xe01 from Good shirt for travel This is a very useful shirt for travel, requiring almost no care, which is good, because when I am on the move, I do not have a lot of time to wait for a shirt to dry, etc. It is nice to have clean clothes at least once in a while. I have worn predecessors of this shirt for many years, and am looking forward to using this newer version in my upcoming trips. Right now it feels good, fits well, and is adaptable for both warm and colder weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alistair from Quick drying I had 3 of these shirts from 7 years ago and I loved them because I could wash them at night and they were ready to wear in the morning. The new ones I just purchased are very slightly different but I look forward to lots of use. When they describe them as LONG sleeve they are describing a long sleeve. I have mine taken up, which adds to the cost but still makes the shirts a good investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MisterS from Tight These shirts run very small. I buy them 2 sizes larger than a recreational equipment store brand that I also like. Some of the Columbia shirts are prone to pill balling, especially on the sides where your arms brush against your torso. It is hard to tell when you first get them if it is the pill ball material or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Haneyjack from Great looking shirt while providing great protection We really like this shirt. My husband wears a 15-15 1/2 neck and 33-24 sleeves so I ordered the Med size. It was a little snug so I sent it back and got the large. Fits perfect! Other than that we are thrilled to have such a good quality shirt that has the highest sun protection. It is important to us since he has to be more careful to sun exposure. We like the color and style as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AmyLS from Tight across shoulders Loved the fabric, color and style. Husband always an XL, but even the XXL was too tight and restrictive across the shoulders, really limiting freedom of movement. Had to return

Rated 4 out of 5 by NCman from Very good shirt-no ironing. This is a great shirt. I can wear it in the field, or the classroom. It is hard to wrinkle and looks great. The shirt has a nice feel and button up sleeves. You could literally wear this shirt Backpacking and then to work on Monday. This summer I will trek about 200 miles on the Camino de Santiago and this shirt is definitely going with me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FLORIDAPHILE from Excellent Light Weight Shirt for Warm Weather, High Humidity Climates Live, work and play in south Florida subtropical climate. Purchased this shirt for use in this challenging environment and so far, I am extremely pleased with the features and performance of this shirt. The excellent functional features that make it perfect for warm weather climates include - light weight, quick drying and unique moisture wicking, breathable nylon/polyester? fabric, and a high SPF rating (SPF50). This shirt performs great in all of my numerous outdoor activities including boating, fishing day hiking and or travelling in this subtropical climate. Additionally, the shirt has a flip up sun protective color for additional neck sun protection, rollup sleeves with a button to secure them and is stylish, form fitting and not baggy like a lot of shirts in this category. I am just under 6', 175# (16.5" neck, 41 chest, Medium -33" waist, athletic build) and the large size fits me comfortably perfect. I would have to say that this shirt fits pretty close to body with not a lot of extra room. If you are bulkier probably get the next size up. The solid color EVERBLUE color I purchased looks great and I will probably purchase more in different solid colors. I have received numerous compliments on how it looks when I wear it. Also, shirt is perfect for business casual with a pair of khakis (shirt not tucked in) or a night on the town! Time will tell as far as durability, but I have experienced better than average quality on Columbia clothing products so I am sure it will fare well in this category.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RABSr from Nicebut just not as comfortable as your competition I like the shirt but it is just not as comfortable as the similar Armachillo from one of your competitors. Your shirt appears to be heavier in weight. HOWEVER, I love your long sleeve t's and now have 3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthernJoe77 from Pleased with this product Excellent travel shirt. Stays cool in warm climates. Construction seems superb. Casual but also sufficiently formal for any restaurant. I chose the white colour of the shirt for maximum comfort in warm weather. Has a feature to allow rolling the sleeves but for my physique I found the sleeves a little too narrow to allow comfortable rolling, so for me this shirt can only be a long sleeve shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BruneiTiger from Perfect for work I spend quiet a bit of time under the sun with my work in the construction industry. This shirt is perfect as it dry super fast and strangely does not smell even after perspiration. I have an athletic build and this shirt fit perfect showing off my form. I wear this shirt almost everyday and it's my work uniform. One word advice, DO NOT IRON this shirt material. It's design with OMNI-Shield. I love it and hope Columbia will not discontinue this style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DanielL from Awesome and very versatile shirt! This has quickly become my favorite shirt. I have worn it for anything from hiking and outdoors work to conferences and meetings. The material is very breathable and dries quickly. This particular shirt has less ventilation than most, which makes it more "office appropriate", but I can't really tell a difference in comfort or breathability without the vents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rose123 from mens long sleeve silver ridge shirt My husband and I happened upon this shirt while shopping in a sporting goods store. After he wore it once, we immediately went out and bought 3 more in different colours. They are comfortable, and are quite dressy in appearance. The shaped cuffs and well hidden keep cool venting are especially appreciated by my husband. I like the soft feel yet durability of the fabric. It is cold water wash, but is not a fragile fabric which is often the case with cold water wash fabrics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Biowil from Nice shirt I love this shirt. It was used under the Thailand sun and performed amazing. Quick drying and cool on the body were the most important features. I kept the shirt on with sleeves down all day while riding scooters and snorkeling. It kept the sun from frying my arms and back and dried shortly while scooter-ing to the next snorkel spot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MT512 from Boyfriend Liked It This shirt is true to size. My boyfriend wears a medium and usually a fitted shirt. This was a bit looser on him than what he normally wears, but the small was too small over his shoulders. The green color is very nice, and we both like the cut of the shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by joeboy from wrinkled This is the 3rd shirt that I've ordered and this one came in a bit different that the previous. This one is extremely "wrinkled". It almost appears that it has been previously worn, then sold to me? I haven't even worn it as yet, as I cant be bothered ironing a brand new shirt... in fact I'm afraid to damage the water resistant / SPF qualities of the shirt with a hot iron. I'm somewhat dissappointed and now reluctant to continue the online purchases.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chris55 from Excellent shirt except for fabric pilling This is an excellent shirt, with one unfortunate and disappointing exception. The fabric pills where ever it gets rubbed together. I first wore it canoeing and after two days of paddling the sleeves and sides were pilled where they had rubbed together. I have laundered it once and worn it perhaps 6 days canoeing with portaging and hiking. The shirt performed superbly in every other respect. The construction, design and workmanship make it a real pleasure to wear. It is designed to give full freedom of movement, yet isn't too sloppy. I have a slim build and the fit is a little bulky at the waist and chest. I have a 30" waist and 40" chest and the shirt measures 44" at the waist and 46" at the chest. However, it drapes well enough to wear about town and I think the bulk allows me to move my arms freely, even above my head, without binding or riding up to my elbows or coming untucked from my pants. The material feels good to the touch (except where it pills). I was very comfortable paddling in it in full sun and 22C temperatures. I tried on at least 6 major competitors' similar products and none of them fit to give freedom of movement without being sloppy. Unfortunately, the fabric pilling problem prevents me from recommending this otherwise excellent product. (I am not a "Professional Thrill Seeker" but I am retired and outdoors way more than 53 days per year!)
