Men’s South Canyon™ Creek Anorak is rated out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outdoortommy from Versatile Anorak This garment is extremely well thought out. Pleasantly surprised that there is a side zipper on left side that allows for easier on/off, plus some added ventilation. Only suggestion would be to change the sleeve ends from snaps to Velcro closure-would add some warmth on cold days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pastorbobnlnh from Fantastic Pull-Over for Outdoor Adventures I am really pleased with my Anorak! I was looking for something to use while fly fishing, kayaking, and boating in the spring and fall seasons when the weather can turn quickly. The large front pocket is perfect for the gear I carry, and the full front pocket for warming hands is a real plus. I can put one hand warmer in there to take the chill away. The hood provides great protection if mist and rain begin while out on the water. I highly recommend this Columbia Anorak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DoctorDre from Keeps me dry!! This jacket gets the job done. It keeps me dry. It’s comfortable, it’s nor as warm. If it dipped under 50 degrees, I would recommend wearing layers. Otherwise it keeps the rain out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anton1986 from Classic, sporty, casual, very columbia made! Many thanks to all the designers who work on the line of such classic clothes, with some military notes, some sports notes, monocrome color (black colour is my favorite) and some brutal notes, very well made! Sometimes it should be heavier to feel this style brighter (not only in 100% nylon, but also in a cotton / polyester blend that can be waxed to make it more waterproof), sometimes it needs another pocket on the right sleeve or what so ever ! but in any case, it's wonderful! Hope to see more new models with such "classic everywhere and anywhere" style next time! Best Regards!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beerhiker from Fun! Stylish jacket that just makes you feel like having fun when you where it. Function is relatively limited past the novelty of the jacket, where it acts a light shelter from spring showers. Getting it in and off takes a little practice, at least for me. But all said I really enjoy this jacket and would recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Benleedavis from Simply amazing Love this pullover! Going to put it to the test in Mammoth in a couple weeks. My body temp has always run hot, so I typically use rain wear while in the snow. Just layer up underneath as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by emchavez15 from Worth the price This jacket is very high quality and is very comfortable. It is truly weatherproof and has lots of useful pockets. Definitely my favorite jacket and would highly recommend this if you're looking for an all weather jacket. Might want to wear a crewneck or hoody underneath if you're a colder kind of person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by pdxor73 from Awkwardly Stylish Modern update to a retro classic. I haven't worn an anorak since I owned a Bugaboo in the early 90s. I didn't like pulling it on and off over my head back then and I still don't. The chest and side zippers do a good job of making it a bit easier. But I love the styling, the lined, kangaroo pocket for my hands and the fun upper pocket with a beverage holder and bottle opener. It's been great for early spring BBQs when the air is just a little chilly and you want your beverage close but your hands to stay warm. Great lightweight jacket with loads of style for an alternative to the typical shell and fleece options. I'm 6'1", 185 lbs., 43" chest and the size large fits perfectly. Drops just below the waist and the arms are long enough for coverage without surplus length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrBiem from Great light jacket This is a perfect jacket for Spring and early Fall. It is water-resistant, lightweight, and breathable making it functional for any outdoor recreation. I used mine for fishing and it performed well. The quality and attention to details are outstanding. The kangaroo pouch sports a bottle opener, keychain holder, and a small mesh pocket for loose change. The perfect man jacket. Fleece lined pocket will keep your hands warm from the elements. There's also a side zipper on the left side to cool off when things warm up during the day without having to take it off. I also find it easier to pull the jacket over when unzipped. So far, Im really impressed in what this jacket has to offer. As for the sizing, I originally ordered both sizes in S and M because I was unsure. I am 5'7 tall and 168 lbs with an athletic build. I'm what you call a 'Smedium'. The medium size allows me more movement and for layers but I find it too long on my body. The small fits me well but very constricting in terms of movement. I just wish it was more of a relaxed fit where I can layer a light sweatshirt or base garment underneath for when the weather calls for it. In short, I stuck with the size small instead. I definitely recommend this jacket but just make sure you find the right size if you intend to layer underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stepprocess from South Canyon Creek Anorak Used it a few times. Preference is the hand pockets would close by zipper or velcro as objects may drop out. Love the top pocket to put valuable(s) in. Performed well in sleet/rain condition. More will be revealed,a as it needs to be tested by this vigorous hiker. Rated 5 out of 5 by Mattk2100 from I love this jacket I bought this because I needed a rain jacket that would last a long time. I have several other Columbia winter jackets and I was very pleased, so I knew I wanted a Columbia rain jacket. I saw this one and it was over. I love the look of it. It's very modern but also has a throwback feel to it. 10/10 would recommend. I told my co-workers about it and they got one too. It's a very satisfying jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Garrett93 from Bringing back the anorak! I wanted to be one of the first people to be sporting this jacket around town, and as it turns out it has some very nice features which the description doesn't seem to mention: This has a zipper with a snap closure which runs up one side of the torso, which immensely helps with getting it on and off, and will prove invaluable for ventilation in the field. The chest pouch is surprisingly well thought out. It has a bottle opener, a clip for keys/ID badge, a mesh cell phone tote, and a beverage (can or bottle) holder! That's pretty rad. The mesh lining is comfortable and the material is a good quality nylon that will be easy to re-waterproof whenever the DWR coating wears off. You could wear this casually, commuting, for light hiking and probably even spring skiing with the right layers. The neck-hood fit is a little snug when all buttoned up, and the hood is probably too small to accommodate a helmet. No surprises there really. I wouldn't expect this jacket to withstand more than the usual PNW drizzle, which appears to be precisely what it was designed for. I'm 6'0" and the large fits just about perfect, with a little extra length in the sleeves and the inseam falling comfortably below my hips. Overall a very nice entry for an underrated rain jacket category.
