Rated 5 out of 5 by Laurie03 from Rain jacket for colder temps I bought this jacket for may son who is an avid outdoorsman. He always complained that he hated to wear so many layers under his existing rain gear, as it wasn't lined. I got this jacket on sale and he has not taken it off since! We live in NE Ohio where usually when it's wet, it's cold. It has kept him warm and dry so far this spring. It runs a tiny bit small but still a keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PBArlington from Perfect Spring / Fall Jacket I was looking for a light waterproof jacket for the spring and fall. I already have a nice winter jacket and a rain shell for the summer. This jacket was perfect for my needs. It's waterproof and has a thin layer of insulation making it great for 50 to 60 degree temps. The size (large) is perfect for me (average build, 5'-11").

Rated 5 out of 5 by DrDennis from Great Jacket.....Great Price! This jacket is absolutely a quality product. You will see it in the construction, the fit and the look. My wife, Kim, who is stingy with compliments, says this jacket looks great. I like the fact that this jacket is light weight yet affords you the warm you need to stay "toasty". I wore this jacket on a very recent Alaskan cruise and it was just what I needed to stay warm and not feel constricted on the excursions that I participated in. I highly recommend this jacket. You will be very happy with your purchase as I am.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gohan2021 from Good rain jacket for a great price I bought this while it was on sale for 30 something dollars. I have been in need of solid rain jackets. My main issues with my old ones were the hoods. The ones I have owned in the past did not have a draw cord or Velcro in the back to help keep the hood from covering your eyes. Because I wear a XXL in jackets I would have an issue where the hood was so large it would cover half my face. I would have to walk with one hand holding the hood so I could see where I was going. A friend of mine told me to look for jackets with the mentioned features and it's been a game changer. I wanted a light, medium, and heavy rain jacket. My heavy and medium are Columbia jackets. This one fell into the medium category. When I got it I liked the way it looked. In black it looks nice and sleek and it fits well. I used it during a windy and raining day a few days after I got it and it did good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the hood would blow off my head from the wind. I think because it's on the lighter side maybe? My other Columbia jacket doesn't have this issue nor my light weight one from REI. I do like that this jacket can keep you warm but not too warm. The two side pockets are a nice size to fit pretty much anything you need in them. I also like the chest pocket for when you need to put something away that you need easy access to especially while say driving with your seat belt on. Columbia is now one of my favorite brands! Good looking jackets, great features, and prices. I almost forgot but the waist cinch is great for those that want to keep it nice and snug or have a small waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boys3 from Great Jacket This jacket is very nice. It is light and made for a rainy/windy day but not for a rainy/windy/cold day. I usually buy my husband xl so he can wear layers under and this was cut a bit larger on the bottom, then we realized there was a way to tighten it which kept us from sending it back (Drawcord hem).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carver93 from As adverstised Lightweight but still keeps you warm. deflects wind no problem. Wears a little longer in the torso but sleeves are right length. I wear it over my insulated jacket when its cold out. Works perfect well below zero that way. Passes Chicago winter test so far.
