Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome 3 in 1 I had another 3 in 1 jacket from Columbia for 10 years and the zipper broke. Their lifetime warranty replaced the coat and this is the one I picked. Very functional and great quality. A perfect jacket for every weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has just about every feature I want This jacket comes closest to having every single feature that I was looking for: 3-in-1 design, stylish interior liner jacket, easy liner zip-in, removable hood, water proof and breathable shell, big pockets, lightweight, good face/neck protection in windy conditions. The only thing I wish it had is armpit vents. Still, if you open the chest pockets, air will flow in somewhat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recommended Keeps you warn and dry. Its not a heavy jacket so it does not weight on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent layering coat Bought this coat for my son, he loves that he can wear the puffy by its self or just the outer shell. The puffy is extremely warm with the added Omni-tech on the inside and the construction of the shell is excellent! Very happy with my purchase and you will be too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely FANTASTIC So I have been waiting a while to make this purchase, and caught it with one of the holiday sales last week... AND SO GLAD I DID!!! To test it out, I wore just a simple T-Shirt underneath. And headed on out to do snow removal, here in Chicago this past weekend. Blowing snow, cold wind, and wet (snow was heavy wet snow)... I was warm and dry. Didn't feel the wind, nor the cold. The jacket is lighter weight then I was expecting, and also thinner then the ones I have had before. And now, I have a winter coat that is not only functional, it is somewhat stylish too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket Jacket was on sale at a great price and needed a versatile jacket. Good construction the sleeves are a little long but the adjustable straps will take care of that. Three in one so this jacket should handle any weather.
    Date published: 2016-04-01
Rated 2 out of 5 by from not warm and difficult to get in/out of This ski jacket looks great. It has reflective material inside as top layer. I did not like it as it sticks to your under layers making it very difficult to get out of the jacket as it will not slide off your arms. In addition, I found while skiing with the jacket it was not very warm at all. I had to add an extra layer and it was not all that cold when I used it to ski with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots Of Options I just received this jacket with the coldest days of the year coming in. I have to say, very well made and comfy. With the Omni-Tech shell, you won't get soaked playing in the snow or snowboarding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the Cash Columbia has always been a great producer of quality outdoor gear. Their products always stand true to their description. This year i will be relocating to Pittsburgh PA from California and this was the first purchase I thought necessary. This was purchased for my other half I will be getting mine as a Christmas gift can't wait to check out the one I get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Much Technology! This jacket is phenomenal! I am a volunteer leader with the local council of the Boy Scouts of America, so I'm outside in all sorts of weather conditions and in all seasons. Cold? This jacket keeps you warm? Raining? This jacket keeps you dry. Perspiring? This jacket keeps you dry. ...and, with the Omni-Heat technology, this jacket is simultaneously the warmest and least bulky winter garment I have ever owned. Nice. I could not be happier with this jacket. Thank you to all the fine folks at Columbia who have made this garment possible. Keep up the good work!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Warm Enough It has been frigid lately and my girlfriend recommended getting a Columbia jacket with omniheat. I tried this jacket out in the cold and it did not keep me warm enough. I was shaking within minutes. Great jacket, but not built for below 0 F temperatures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Omni Heat is a gimmick and doesn't work. COLD! If you want a warm jacket, don't be fooled by the description. This jacket is very light and is cold. The reflective liner doesn't make up for the total lack of insulation in this jacket. I made a mistake by ordering it online and was very disappointed when I got it. I have had it since November and used it in various conditions. I was even a bit chilly wearing it while snowshoeing! I have usually gotten too warm snowshoeing while wearing my previous Columbia jackets but not with this one. Don't waste your money if you want warmth. You won't get warmth with this jacket! It also doesn't have a double zipper which unzips from the bottom. Very annoying when I sit in my car or truck to drive and the jacket is riding up because I can't unzip it from the bottom. I have had Columbia jackets exclusively for many years. That will probably change now and my next jacket most likely will be another brand. Columbia, you dropped the ball on this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket, true to size I bought this jacket for the bitter cold midwest winters (-20 degrees wind-chills at times). Has an omni heat thermal shell and top layer that entraps the warmth of your body leaving the bitter wind-chills outside the jacket. Does exactly what is advertised, omni heat technology is amazing! I came from a $350 north face triclimate which i returned because I was still freezing my bones! This jacket is super lightweight and keeps you warm and dry no matter what the weather is outside! True to size, love the colors and the hood and zipper work flawlessly! Would def recommend this for a semi formal/casual clothing. Goes well with my pressed suit pants for work or with casual jeans or khakis.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something for everyone? Great coat with good thermal qualities. Largely wind resistant - another plus. Fit would have been much nicer if it were offered in tall sizes. Sleeves are a bit short for my body style and I had to buy larger size to get the arm length. Now the body is too bulky!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for winter I rarely write a review for a product unless it would be really bad or really good. I have to say that I really like this one. Recommended for everyone who lives in a city with cold winters specially with high winds like Philly that I live.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Waterproof I purchased the Columbia Summit interchange jacket after returning the Bugaboo because I ordered the wrong size. Definitely choose the large if you think you're a large because a medium didn't fit me well (5 feet 11 inches tall). The Bugaboo was a GREAT choice and I would have ordered the large but after I saw the Summit go on sale I couldn't resist spending a little extra money for it. I ordered a large in the Summit and it fits great! Freezing rain, super cold winds and our first snow didn't even phase it. The jacket is a little longer than expected but I actually like this feature. You get the feeling of a nice ski coat mixed with a sporty winter coat. The liner is really nice and warm and can be warn as it's own separate jacket system if needed. To anyone who says the omni-heat technology doesn't work, it does. You don't feel it right away putting the jacket on, but go for a walk or move around and you'll start to feel your own body eat getting trapped in the coat and keeping you toasty warm. I like all of the zipper pockets instead of velcro and the hand pockets are really soft and warm. A little extra money well spent for a nice product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for 3 seasons, not for winter, and flawed Worn outside in cold, wet weather twice now, for about half an hour to an hour both times. Temps in high 20s to low 30s, drizzle to hard rain to snow. While it kept me from freezing I wasn't ever really warm, either. And that was with a T-shirt, medium-weight long-sleeved shirt and light sweatshirt on underneath. No way is this combo going to keep me warm for extended periods in real winter temps. The inner shell has no insulation at all and I question the effectiveness of the Omni Heat "technology". Two other issues. One, the zipper is one-way only and the coat is long making sitting kind of uncomfortable. And, when I did that, the zipper came loose from the catch at the bottom and pulled apart for about 6 inches. Had a tough time getting that sorted. Two, a seam somewhere at the back of the hood leaked a bit in a hard rain. Felt a drip down the back of my neck every few minutes. If I can find it I can seal it, but that shouldn't happen. I don't think I can return it as we tossed all the packaging and my wife ordered it on sale. I'll keep it - but only for spring and fall use, and never in a hard rain. Will have to look for another combo for real winter use. Despite being a long-time Columbia fan, I do not recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toasty in -10° I purchased this jacket with Mountaineering in mind. We've recently began to see the snow and colder temps here in colorado. This jacket has plenty of pockets. Is unbelievably waterproof, windproof and super warm. The inner liner is a pretty classy looking jacket. Perfect for the not so frigid days. Looks better than any of the other interchange jackets. Omni heat is real. The more you move, the warmer it gets. Very comfortable. Size wise I bought the large , normally I wear medium. I planned for extra layers. With it fully zipped up I am super happy I bought the large. Chin guard could be a little snug with a neck gaiter. The only thing I wish this jacket had was underarm ventilation, temperature regulation is very important in the approach. If you wish the same, perhaps look at the Mens Lhotse jacket. That one has a skirt as well. This one does not. Hood is big enough for my climbing helmet with beanie and balaclava. I'm not a snowboarder so I'm not sure about those helmets. Overall very happy with my purchase. Especially since I bought it during the triple points time period. Sign up for greater rewards. You'll be glad you did.
