Rated 2 out of 5 by John56 from coming unglued I have worn these boot three times, hiking a total of less than ten miles, and the seams on the uppers are coming unglued. Very frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jason1001 from Wanted to like these boots. I really wanted to like these boots. They are comfortable and very waterproof. The issue I have, is that they are falling apart after wearing them for only about a 15 mile hike. The outer membrane is peeling off which will let water into the boot. It looks like I’m going to have to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TBloom from Workhorse This is a great shoe with a lot of support and cushion. I broke my ankle a couple of years ago and have to seek out high-top style shoes for everyday wear. This one provides support right where I need it. I agree with some of the reviews that this shoe is "squeaky." The waterproof material that is used used gives the shoe a shiny/plastic-y quality and lends to the mild squeaky sound when you walk. I do not find it that noticeable, but it could be a turn-off for some. I thing this is a really great multipurpose shoe: a true workhorse, if you will. I have worn mine everyday since I have received them. Great for everyday wear, finishing, hiking, camping, you name it. Great job, Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Travis420 from Good buy These shoes are great if you are going to be standing on wet ground all day. With the membrane on the outside of the shoe they do not get weighed down with wet material on the outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Delta1138 from Impressed I bought these boots being impressed with the OutDry claim and materials. So I decided to take them on a 5 mile day hike around a state park. There were quite a few snow melt puddles and I went out of my way to hike thru them to test the OutDry claim. They performed quite well and I had no issues. My feet were bone dry at the end and I was impressed. While the material did seem "plasticky" it didn't seem to inhibit performance and they broke in easily. They are also very light which is paramount in a boot as well as very tough. I give a 4 star on the Comfort rating only because I haven't taken them on a weeks hike. Yet. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Irondan from BEST SHOE EVER I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOE. This has to be the most comfortable and waterproof shoe I have ever worn. I bought the white pair about a month ago and today I am getting the gray pair. They are not the warmest shoe but if you stay active, feet stay warm. Not to mention they look great :-).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Trailhawk427 from Great looking boots, very comfortable I've been wanting to get these since the early Fall '17 and picked them up with the end of season sale. I'm very impressed with the design and function of these boots, and certainly they hold out water, which I could've used these a few weekends ago. The sizing of these boots are a bit larger than I expected, as the Columbia shoes tend to be more of an athletic type shoe/fit, these I notice that my heel holds back deeper, which I could've gone a half size smaller, but a thicker insole could fix this just as easily. Overall, these boots meet my expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Millsy from Bill in pa Great shoe. Soft around foot and grippy bottom. I’ve got hard to fit feet but these feel great. Size 12 as usual. Waiting to see how cleanup will be on white shoe . So far all good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hoohaa007 from Excellent I’m one month from my purchase and I’ve not regretted a day. The shoe fits great, laces hold snug all the way up shoe does little to no rubbing. The water proof has held strong and can be submerged to the angle with no problems. Fits nice, and breaths moderately well. Far better than I expected for a waterproof shoe. I work outdoors all week, and I love these at work. I feel like a tank of nature, I can do anything I want. Downsides: slight pop from toe as you walk(hardly noticeable unless your alone), slight creak as you lean side to side from the waterproof fabric. Occasionally warm. Nothing that would stop me from buying these again Possitives: very comfortable, very low break in period, amazingly waterproof, great design, durable

Rated 3 out of 5 by CookieNonner from Good Trail Boot Spring to Fall This boot fits true to size for me, being a size 12 and wide/flat feet (even wearing smart-wool and fits winter wool socks). Did not try them with mountaineer socks though. I have a genetic disorder so feel temperature changes more than most and in my feet these are good until about 50 degrees F. Below that it gets uncomfortable after awhile. On trails and off wearing outdoors they are a great Vibram grip; except for any sleet or ice. Try not to wear to much in colder snow climate, the tread and friction make for an accident (aware they weren't rated for winter). Be careful of the outdry seams near the middle lace strap as the seams in one of mine began to unravel 2 months into wearing (Columbia CS is replacing the boots no questions asked under 60 days to investigate the issue-for my specific case). They have decent heel support and always felt a nice spring in my step absorbing and bouncing back. I wore for 5-6 hours 5-6 days a week and never had issue with odors (the technology works pretty well to dry the boot out). There isn't any constructed arch support which is a major negative remark for this product considering its intended purpose (gave it a 3 of 5 for that reason). However, unless you live near Portland, likelihood you will find in store to try on is not gonna happen. Happy with boot overall, but wish I'd just gotten the insulated Michelin version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by eronje from waterproof, but a little plasticky These boots look OK and are comfortable, but they have a plasticky look and feel. But, for as plasticky as they seem, they still seem to breathe OK, like the description says. Nice traction, but I wouldn't say they are as supportive/cushioned as advertised. I'm a big guy though, so maybe they just aren't cut out for my bulk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott303 from Thoroughly tested I wore these in plenty of places to test out the function. I spent time in a children’s museum where a room had soap bubbles all over the floor. I didn’t notice the slippery floor, while my wife had to walk carefully. I also wore them at a ski resort. The insulation was great for a day trip. I highly recommend these for an all around fall or light winter experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cadguy from Great but squeaky The grip on the soles are fantastic (like most Columbia shoes). The fit is just right. Only downside is that the outer material has that plastic look to it and squeaks (another reviewer noted it as well). Maybe the squeak will go away after more break-in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by John09 from The Good and Bad The Good Very waterproof Light weight Good looking The Bad Very wide loose fitting in the toe area The material feels like plastic Material never breaks in to fit your feet Cushion in sole is fading fast with only 50-100 miles of walking Will be replacing because of comfort after only 2 months of light use

Rated 5 out of 5 by WesG from Amazing Boot So Far I got these boots with a store credit I received after purchasing a pair of faulty boots that after only 2 days of walking (not hiking or anything) just walking at work, had multiple eyelets tear rendering the boots useless so i couldnt tie them anymore...That being said Columbia had amazing customer service was extremely understanding and I was able to order these bad boys with the store credit. I have been wearing them for months when it rains and these things are completely waterproof! Havent had a drop hit my foot yet and sometimes im in a couple inches of water. Very impressed so far, the outside material seems extremely durable but i should be going hiking and doing more outdoorsy things in the coming month so im excited to see how they hold up. For now, they've done all that is advertised and more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maxpac from It breathes Its hard to imagine waterproof material that breathes or permeable material that is tough enough for a boot. Wore the titanium for a day 10hrs to break them in for a hike not only were they as comfortable as a new pair of running shoes but wore them in 80degree weather with no problems of "hot feet".
