Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Ordered this for my husband and he loves it. He's a big boy and it fits well. He loves the material and he usually has an issue with the sleeves being to short but not with this jacket. Thanks for a great product Columbia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Columbia needs to make more 300 gram fleeces to compete with north face, ll bean, and so on. This is finally a good competitive fleece for those other brands that always have heavier fleeces. Their other fleeces are good but this is just like the military fleece that you're issued. Very warm. . Fits great. Looks great. A lot of compliments. Now we need one with a hoodie to compete with the north face Denali hoodie. Keep it up Columbia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I have owned several Steens Mountain fleece zip jackets for several years now because the company I worked for was giving them out for free. Unfortunately our stock ran out and they no longer had them in our size. I also owned a thermator fleece jacket I bought from a retail store but the material pilled up badly and in less than a year it looked very poor. This jacket is hands down much, much higher quality than the steen mtn. jackets and that other jacket. The polartec fleece is soft and supple without much bulk, and very, very warm. The zippers are heavier duty YYK - a point of contention with my previous fleece jackets as both of them had zipper failures. The drawstrings at the waist are nice too. Lastly the fit is incredible. I am always worried about ordering things online as I am a true XL (6'4", 230lbs, long torso and arms) bordering on XLT / 2XL depending on the garment maker, and it has seemed that garments have been trending towards 'slim' and 'athletic' these last few years so I never knew what I was going to get unless i tried it on at a store. The fit is about as perfect as I could ask for. Sleeve length is long enough to drape slightly longer than my wrists, while the shoulder sits where it ought to on the top of my shoulder and not too far up towards the neck or down on the upper arm. The length of torso is great and sits comfortably below the waist without any worry of it riding above my pant line. And lastly the collar is roomy enough for me to zip the jacket fully without worry of tightness or binding around the neck. For the price I got the jacket on the columbia website it simply can't be beat. I expect many years of quality and comfort from this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line You can't get any better than Polartec 300. Plus its what the military uses in its winter gear! I used it as a mid layer snowmobiling and it worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I think it's better than a TNF Denali I've had this jacket for a few weeks now and I've already thrown it in the washing machine a couple times. It's a very good jacket and serves its purpose very well. It's warm, light and looks good. Although I found the sleeves a little long, the general fit of the jacket is great. The 300 weight fleece is as advertised - it's heavy enough to wear as your outer layer with one or two layers underneath. But in my opinion, if you were looking to use this as a liner underneath a jacket, I would suggest trying on a couple sizes with the outer shell/jacket you had in mind to get the fit right. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mid Weight A great mid weight jacket. We live in the Great Lakes region and we have cold windy days. I wear this jacket into he hospital with a short sleeve under it and keeps warm. I don't know if I spend a lot of time outside with just it but for running around time its perfect. Athlete cut and thicker than most

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Warm! This Polartec Fleece is very thick and warm. I thought it was gonna be very bulky but was very impressed. I get many compliments. I don't layer up as much because with this fleece, I am all set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good buy for slightly chili weather Fits good I'm 6 ft and wearing a medium. Blocks 60% to 70% of wind chill. Will hold up to light rain. Quality is better than most fleeces. I got the blue type and thought the Grey sleeves would be darker but it's a lighter shade. Overall great product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent jacket I ordered this fleece for the warmer fall and spring days but to my surprise it works well in cold weather also. This is a very comfortable soft fleece that is perfect for any weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fall jacket Perfect medium. Great quality and nice looking. Very warm for Fall type temps in the Midwest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fall Outerwear! Super comfortable, allows zero wind to get through, even on a nippy Fall day. Pockets are a necessity for me so that my hands don't freeze, so I love this fleece/jacket. Also, nice little tidbits here - nice beefy zipper that will take some abuse from the dryer and washing machines and not break, and the wrist openings are stretch fit but don't bunch up. Love this fleece.
