Warmest coat for any outdoor function!
So we don’t live in the coldest place on earth or anything but I have stood in line for a concert when it was 10° for almost three hours and I was the only one who wasn’t cold!!! I had to unzip it when we were walking to the show because I was sweating. Only had a flannel shirt on under it. Seriously this coat is worth every penny and it is built solid. Not sure about other reviews saying it was built bad but mine is great. It’s not crazy bulky, definitely the warmest coat I’ve ever owned! I’m 6’0, 212lbs and the large fits perfect.

Very good
Very warm. Good quality. I am a Columbia fan. Seems Columbia is making jackets that are usually longer style. Hope they can make some shorter and more fashionable jackets.

Worth the price
This coat is perfect for really cold weather. Put it on and you're warm and you stay warm. No bulky layers required. The exterior fabric is strong yet flexible, giving the coat a "bulletproof" feel. I don't worry about snagging it on something. The hood is the best I've ever had - the "fur" traps heat around my face and keeps the cold wind out of the hood. It has more than enough pockets so I don't have to fumble to find anything. Everything about this coat says: Quality. Even the logos are metallic on the surface of the fabric. This coat checks every box. Pay the extra money and go first-class.

Has magical properties!
I received the Parka in a plastic bag whose weight clearly suggested that the wrong thing had been sent. Way too light. But ever hopeful, I opened it up, and tried on the coat. A little snug around the armpits, but with a t-shirt, shirt, fleece that was understandable. It felt great. Too great. Why was I not over-heating? The next day was going to be around 0F outside. I feared the worst come morning. Went outside. Nothing happened. I expected to cool down. Nothing. No cooling. I went to work. Walked dog for about 20 minutes in 3F. Still nothing. I felt like I'd felt when I put the coat on indoors. Fingers were frozen and hurt. Nose numb. Rest of me was at room temperature it seemed. And this repeated for the next few days. The temperature rose to around 20F and I thought maybe I'll overheat. It rose to around 34F and I thought maybe I'll cook. Nothing happened. I stayed at room temperature. I don't understand it! How can it keep me warm outside at close to 0F and not overheat when the temperature is 20-30 degrees warmer? I LOVE THIS COAT! The end.

Great jacket for colder weather
Got this jacket in preparation for a trip to Park City, Utah. Saw single didgets and this coat saved my life. Was warm with just a thin long sleeve or t shirt underneath. Super comfortable and warm. Fuzzy part of hood can be adjusted forward to minimize face exposure or back to allow full field of view. Favorite snow jacket ever. Warm, comfortable, love all the pockets. Big fan.

Warm and toasty on cold winter nights
Perfectly oversized to be an outer layer. A few long sleave shirts, a vest and then this parka and I’m all set to be outside all night long while working on set. I also really like all the pockets - I can keep my gloves in one set while keeping my hands warm in the other.

Drench be gone!!
I was so excited to receive my jackets and luckily they arrived right before a rainy cold front in the South. Typically we don’t have the weather that the east or northwest part of the US experiences. I work on movie sets and had to do a unload a truck 5:45am with the wind blowing and in a terrible downpour. After at least an hour of pounding the only thing that got wet were my khakis and that was below my ankles. Easy Breezy is all I can say. Thanks for making a quality product.

Iceland tested
Great coat! Took to Iceland in early January, and it worked as advertised ! Had snow, sleet and rain with 40-50 mph winds and was warm and dry! All i wore under it was a form fitting Omni fitting top!
Probably should have water proof pants with it to cover lower legs

First Impression now that it's cold outside
It finally felt cold enough to put on the Titan Pass to walk the dogs. Temperature of -4 C with wind gusts of 36 km/h (12 F 22mph winds) and a snow squall warning. After we got going, it almost felt like too much coat. I was toasty, dry, and safe from the wind and snow. I am looking forward to some real cold to see what this coat can do. I'm glad that I made this purchase. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Not satisfied for that price
I've got my jacket Titan pass 780 military, but not satisfied, why?ok, 3 reason.
1.the fur is not white like in the picture but is some kind of brown and is made so cheap.
2.columbia Titan inscription and that T sign on left arm are not silver or at least white but black, hard to see them.
3.the jacket itself is made cheap( .aterial, adjustment..) not like for 580$, yes not 550 but 580$+, ofcourse sales taxes.
My wife has a jacket from columbia for 300$ and she's very happy but i feel like i bought an fake item for 580$

Great buy!
Great parka for the winter! Very warm, not that heavy and has good quality. I have other jackets with Omni heat from Columbia, it absolutely traps the body heat while not allowing the elements from outside to permeate.
The color of the synthetic fur is not white as shown in the images with the product, its dark grey & black.
Although I wear a Large, but the 'L' of this jacket was way too big. I had to exchange it for a 'Medium'. 'M' size of the jacket fitted perfectly. I will totally recommend it to buy except order a size down! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Seems ok
Living in west TN, we only get extreme cold once or twice a year, so I have not had a chance to put this coat to the test yet. However, it seems like it will do the job.
PROS:
- It seems extremely warm.
- I love the outer shell. The shell material appears fairly thick and rugged, much nicer than the thin nylon I've seen on other down coats.
- Shell seems to have a little stretch to it, so I think it'll be great during activities. It also has reinforced areas on arms and shoulders. It looks like the shell will hold up well and be able to take some abuse.
- I love that the coat is waterproof. Other down coats I've seen seem to only be water resistant, not waterproof.
CONS:
- Sleeve cuffs are unnecessarily huge, probably 6-8 inches too large, almost like bell bottoms. I assume this is so they will fit easily over gloves? There is a plastic strap to adjust the cuff, but to make it small enough requires a large fold in the shell that is uncomfortable. Maybe it will break in a little and soften up with some wear? Also, the velcro on the cuffs seems cheap and doesn't look like it will hold for long.
- The main full-length chest zipper appears to be made out of a cheap plastic. I'm not sure how long it will last. I would have expected a metal or at least a heavier-duty plastic zipper at this price point.
- The full-length flap that folds over/covers the main chest zipper has small, thin, cheap velcro. Since it catches every time I zip up the jacket, I doubt it will last long. Other coats I've seen have magnets on this flap instead of velcro. I think magnets are way more durable and convenient, and magnets are something I would have expected to see at this price point.
- The hood drawstring isn't great because there's no way to hold it in place once you tighten/adjust it. The hood is nice and looks like it would fit over a helmet. However, I'm not always skiing. Once you let go of the drawstring, it immediately loosens. Other coats have a moveable piece or a clamp-like piece to hold the drawstring in place once it's been adjusted.
- This is minor, but the Columbia logos are all over the jacket - front, sleeves, back. I don't mind a logo, but I also don't like looking like a walking billboard.
SUMMARY:
All-in-all, I think this is a good coat that will keep me plenty warm and dry. However, I am disappointed in the lack of quality of some components and lack of attention to detail given the price point. I'm hoping that the cons I've listed are only minor annoyances. However, some minor changes could make this a great jacket.

Nothing out there compares!!
Having researched every heavy down parka on the market, this is hands down the highest quality and best value. In any other high end brand, this is easily a $1000+ parka and I'm fairly certain is higher quality. I've owned Canada Goose parkas before and I would choose this again and again over CG. I live in Northern MN and have worn this in -20F with nothing more than a tee shirt underneath and stayed absolutely toasty. This is the hidden gem of parkas. Don't miss out on this one!!!
For sizing purposes I'm 5'11'', 175lbs, and the medium fit perfect with a little extra room for movement.

I love this jacket
I bought this and a Canada Goose. I returned the Canada Goose as I gut just as much warmth and a good looking jacket for much less money. I am extremely happy with this jacket. I did take of the fur liner. The only negative is I wish I could make the hood tighter when wearing as it is loose around my face. Great for wind and water super warm.

Excellent
Bought it for Christmas and im really satisfied with it.. with just a few layers below it I felt warm during a trip to Lake Superior with -20 to -30°C. Other times only with a shirt and the parka I can even feel hot.
Great product, looks great, elegant!

OMG, love it!
This has to be the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned. I think it might be a little long, but I love the jacket. I don't have to wear anything underneath it like did with some other jackets I own. Can't wait to test it out when I go to Alaska January 29th 2018. That will be a true test. Columbia is a great product. I ended up spending about 3 grand for all the clothing that we need for our trip. I love them so much more than The North Face product line. Better prices.

Ready for cold
I live in Valdez, AK where it doesn't normally get cold enough for this jacket, but I travel to Fairbanks for work and play in the interior. This is a great jacket for moving around town at -20F. 780 fill down is warm and thick, while the exterior is fairly burly. Good looking coat too. I'm 5'5", 160 and am in between small and medium sizes. Got a small to keep the sleeves the proper length, but could use another inch or two in the chest. Good news is you don't need to layer underneath!

Warm, stylish, high quality winter jacket
I purchased this jacket about a month ago and I absolutely love it. Overall, it’s a fantastic, warm, quality product. It does have a few minor flaws in my opinion, but the positives outweigh the negatives by a long shot.
The good:
* This jacket is WARM. The temperature has been in the low teens here the past few days, and I don’t even feel the cold under the jacket. It will get you through some serious winters.
* It’s waterproof. You don’t get that with all jackets of its type.
* It’s made very well.
* The material has a bit of stretch, which is great for mobility.
* The jacket has a nice slim cut. It’s not big and baggy like some others - it hugs the body well, which is important to keep you warm.
* The comfort cuffs are great, and keep your wrists warm.
* It’s priced lower than comparable jackets.
* The hood is padded.
* It’s a good looking jacket.
Things I would change:
* The pockets. While there are 10 of them, they are all small / not deep enough to be very usable. This is a little frustrating when trying to place items like a large scarf or heavy gloves.
* When the jacket is fully zipped, the lowest snap kind of ‘clacks’ against itself when you walk, unless you close it. Personally, I typically don’t close the snaps, so now I’m forced to (unless I want to hear the noise), which is a slight nuisance.
* The limited color selection. I would have liked to see other options besides black and blue.
These things aren’t nearly enough to prevent me from giving it this 5-star rating. I would recommend it highly.

Sizing it right
My measurements are: Arm length (held straight out): 20 inches, Chest: 44 inches, Belly (without sucking in my gut): 45 inches. This is after losing 50 pounds over the last year. Losing weight really messes with the size of clothing you need to buy, but that is a good problem to deal with.
I bought the Size: XL as I have always been the larger side of life. It was so big, I felt I was swimming in it, so I returned it. I bought the Size: L and found that it did not fit me snug enough. If you plan on wearing a lot of inner layers, maybe this would have been the right size, but I felt the many layers would have restricted my movement overall. I finally tried the Size: M which worked well. It fit just snug enough under my arm pits, an wrapped well around my torso.
The Jacket weighs a decent amount and will definitely keep you warm. I am going to go test it out in a colder country closer to the arctic soon. If you don't hear back from me, it means I am happily enjoying my coffee looking out a cabin somewhere in the cold snowy wilderness, or, I don't have internet - Either way, I am going to be a happy camper (pun intended) :)

High end
As a picky shopper I tried on numerous coats from North Face, Columbia, Arcteryx, Alpha, Patagonia, etc. This Columbia has the best weight to warmth ratio. Just used it last week in upstate NY no problem. Would like to see more soft material around the neck for warmth but otherwise you get what you pay for. Top quality which you can see everywhere in the design.
For reference I am 5’-11” and 160#.

Only winter coat you'll ever need
My work in downtown Denver involves waiting at light rail platforms, bus stops, and walking through the downtown streets. After being uncomfortably cold last winter I was determined to find the right coat to preclude the situation this winter.
My criteria: warmth (first and foremost), thigh length, padded hood, well constructed with sufficient pockets. Finding such was harder than I expected, particularly needing a small size (very difficult to find).
This coat is perfect. Having double reflective layers (outside deflects cold, inside deflects body heat) with down fill between ensures warmth. Hood is down padded, rimmed with detachable faux fur. The shell being partly constructed with stretchable material makes mobility easy (I was concerned that it would be too restrictive). Initially I was put off by the price but now that I've worn it several times I can say it's worth every penny.
I am a highly discerning consumer and rarely give any product such high ratings. It's not "de trop" to say this coat is a marvel of engineering: form and function conjoined.
