Reviews

Men’s Titan Ridge™ Down Jacket is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket that rivals the Competition Awesome jacket that is warm in a wide spectrum of temperatures. Columbia’s Omni-Heat and down filling make this packable jacket a go to for adventure enthusiasts and casual wear alike. This jacket outperforms other brands comparable products at a fraction of the cost. Only wish was a better fitting medium. The medium runs big so I settled for a small which is a bit tight but it is functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantabulous!! I received this item as a gift and I was skeptical at first by how light in weight the material is but I ended up being amazed at how warm it is for any outdoor activities and I mean ANY! I would recommend this coat to anyone that wants a good lightweight jacket! Don’t settle for less! VERY IMPRESSED!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and packable Very warm, well made and comfortable. Would seem to also be easily compressible

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit a little off, but very warm This jacket has yet to be tested on any sort of back country adventure. It has however provided me with excellent warmth while about town in 6 degree weather using only a cotton t-shirt for layering. I am 5'10, 155 lbs, lean build and a true medium almost across the board when it comes to upper body garments. So I originally ordered a medium. That was not true with this jacket as the sleeves were very wide as was the width around the waist. This created warmth inefficiencies throughout. I liked the feel so much, I ordered another in small to give it another try. The small's overall fit is great, except the area under the armpits is way too tight and doesn't allow for much movement or layering other than a t-shirt. The torso could use a little bit more room to allow for layering as well as for better movement when bending down. The sleeves could be a tighter sealing in warmth and to be less bulky. I am not picky, but for the cost, the sizing should be more dialed for outdoor enthusiasts. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Great jacket. Dark feathers will show through shell on lighter colors. Didn't see this advertised well but the jacket is packable as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia comes thru again Love this coat. Columbia products perform as advertised and for a reasonable price. They are my go to brand for outdoor wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat for the cold! This is a nice warm jacket. Kept me warm when it was -10f out when I only had a shirt on. Can be worn everyday. The only con I have is some of the feathers come out and you can see dark feathers through the shell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not interchange compatible The main reason I bought this jacket, is because I already have 2 columbia interchange jackets, The shells still look like new, but the liners are damaged after years of use. This liner is very warm, as I expected, but the size of the zipper doesn't fit the interchange shells zippers, so you can't attach them correctly. I checked the new interchange jackets in store, thinking that my shells were old and that Columbia changed the zipper sizes, but the new ones seem to be all the same as my old ones. The comclusion is that this jacket is not a true interchange, otherwise I would have given it a 5 stars rating easily. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Pillow Oven of Heaven This Jacket is out of this world! It is known as "My Oven" for the coldest nights winter has to offer not only do I feel like I am being hugged by the softest, warmest clouds in existence but I am in love with the style in which it provides the best color schemes and down insulation for a Jacket that anywhere has to offer (with a security pocket down near your waist it is an interesting concept but doesn't work as well as the chest security pocket however! With 180 grams in weight of the Goose Down Insulation (800 proof really makes the difference)! It is just beyond words for description you gotta feel to know my obsession. These Down Jackets from Columbia is why I am known as The Pillow Man!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps Chicago's Hawk at bay so far I bought this to replace my Powerfly jacket. It is a little heavier than my Powerfly but quite a bit warmer. I have worn it on windy Chicago days with temps in the teens. I always wear a hat and gloves. I always zip up before going out in the elements. This jacket has performed with flying colors so far. I wish it had a zip up front breast pocket like the Powerfly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect down jacket I shopped around for quite some time before deciding to go with the Men's Titan Ridge Down Jacket. Being so new, I found only a little information on the item so I'll try to fill in a few blanks: The interchange system hooks in with my other Columbia jacket through the loops on the neck and sleeves, but the zippers are different sizes. The Titan Ridge stays in place well enough but just know that it will not be as snug a fit as other interchange products. I marked that it runs a little large because I fit the measurements for a medium and the sleeves reach a little long. This is not a problem at all, just a sizing note. I did not find that it was too snug around the torso and allows me to layer accordingly for the weather. The neck rides up high enough that I do not need a scarf (I just choose to wear one). It packs nicely into the pouch on the right inside lining for easy travel and is extremely lightweight. I barely feel it when putting it on. The insulation and warmth is tremendously effective. I wear it around in the snow and 20 degree weather and I do not need any extra layers to bundle up. Overall this is a great product and will be my daily wear throughout the winter. I highly recommend this jacket and am glad I got it for the German winters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality jacket! This jacket is extremely lightweight and comfortable. Our temps the last few mornings have been in the upper 20's, and this jacket keeps me really warm. I could probably stay out all day in these temps and not get cold. It is really comfortable and fits me really well. The sleeves are plenty long (which isn't always the case in jackets that fit me). Torso length is just right. I am 6'.0" and 185 pounds, with a long waist. I bought the size medium. I highly recommend this jacket. It is one of the warmest I have owned, and I really like the looks and fit of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far it's a great jacket I haven't had a chance to really test this yet, but in the mid 50's weather, its warm. Will be testing it out in Colorado soon. Style wise, it's nice. My only complaint is the "interchange" feature. This jacket comes with the loops to anchor it into a 3-in-1 shell/liner system, however it doesn't zip into the shell. So I guess technically it will work, but not the same as the zip in liner that comes with the 3-in-1 jacket system. Maybe I didn't understand this feature, but the jacket itself is quite nice, so I'll make it work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Jacket Very stylish trendy jacket in moss yellow color, lightweight and gets extremely hot. So far I have used it in 40 degree weather, will see how this holds up to 20 degrees in Chicago and will update review later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia Quality as Expected Haven't had a chance to try this as a 3 in 1 yet but performs as expected. Kept me plenty warm in the teens with a slight wind chill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Titan Ridge I usually wear a large, 42, but i needed a medium on this coat. Runs very small. You want it to fit snugly to keep the heat in. Very warm and lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Coat This is a nice coat. It's very warm. I like that the collar is high so I don't need a scarf. The two tone colors are nice as well. This coat runs large. I have a 38"–40" chest and usually wear a medium in other brands. For this coat I needed a small. My only complaint about the coat is the Columbia logo on the front AND back. I love the coat but feel like a walking advertisement.
