Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product in Medium Temperatures and Weather Highly recommend this product under non-extreme conditions. It has worked well in the rain and wind, especially biking around. If combined with a soft shell underneath, this product is ideal under most conditions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Uniforms We plan on using these as loner uniforms at My Hood Skibowl for our instructors. UNfortunately lack of snow doesn't alows for testing yet. I wish we would get the full amount of them as originaly available, fewer confirmed over the phone then available on line and then even fewer arrrived. Otherwise looking good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket The jacket is really good. Its kind off like a wind braker and it seems to be water-proof too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain coat! Great rain jacket, fit is good, it is very thin and light so easy to put over cold weather gear in the rainy fall, to use over a t-shirt on warm days, or stuff into a day-pack just in case. Great look, hood is great, like the cuffs they are velcro but very thing so it looks/feels like the cuffs are not adjustable. Very much like the dark-backcountry green color that goes across lots of the male products. We've adopted Columbia for our work apparel at our regional conservation not-for-profit which has been great and helps us to be noticed now. I do wish the female lines had similar colors so the whole team had one look. I found the female products almost never had similar greens that our organization uses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shell, good value. I simply wanted a shell to throw on top of anything else and hit outside in the Portland rain. This fit the bill nicely. Not too bulky, reasonably trim fit, and good rain protection. I haven't tried running or anything with it on, so I can't attest to the breathability, but I haven't run into a large amount of condensation inside it yet, which seems to be a usual problem with shells. Great product for what I needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Recommended - With Reservations I have taken to calling this jacket my "Urban Assault' raincoat and for a certain range of activities it is perfect. It is ULTRA lightweight, waterproof, very "packable" and has a stylish fit. Soggy day at the Farmer's Market ? Rainy walk across campus ?? Torrential downpour just as you pull into the parking lot at work ??? For these types of needs/activities this jacket/shell will keep you comfortable and dry and deserves a "perfect 5" for functionality. On the -other- hand, the (what Columbia calls) "active" fit in combination with (what I consider) ultra-light weight fabric make this a poor choice for activities that (a) require a wide range of motion or (b) call for a more durable fabric. I had originally bought the jacket to use while fly-fishing but found the fit to be very restrictive during my casting motion. Additionally the fabric is so light that I really wouldn't trust it for bucking brush to my favorite trout stream. As for the breath-ability of this product, I'm going to say the jury is still out. I have worn it twice during what were torrential downpours and while the jacket was -extremely- waterproof, I did notice a bit of clamminess when I got inside and removed the jacket. While I'm no longer using this jacket for the activities I had intended when I bought it, I still consider it a good product and would recommend it for your "Urban Assault" needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, lightweight, waterproof, breathable I am pleased with the fit and performance. It is an excellent waterproof shell for aerobic activities. I've used it on rainy and windy days during soccer and cycling. Would definitely purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased with the Men's Trail drier We are very happy with the fit and quality of our jackets. We have not had a chance to use them in foul weather yet, so we can't comment how dry we are kept.
