Reviews

Men's Ultimate Roc™ II Pant - Big is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pants Size is a Tough Fit These pants are lightweight and come in a wide variety of sizes I got 54 just to be sure with my weight fluctuations that they fit for years of camping. This is the same size I wear some dress pants with at a higher then my belts waist. I can wear them around the house ok without a belt and with a belt that easily takes care of them being a little loose. I also wanted to be sure I could do this so they wouldn't be to long and I could wear them higher if need be for now. I bough the size 30 inseam. They are still a little long wearing them at the normal belt height but with shoes on or by hiking them up seem to be fine for now. The Material feels like a natural enough fiber to put a high hem in them for most people. The other thing is they run a little large in the pant legs. I have pretty beefy legs and go bicycling a lot and these feel really baggy around my legs all the way down to the cuff. If you are worried about catching due to being to baggy take that in consideration. Although I have seen guys with severe cardiac issues causing massive edema and these would leave a lot of room so as to fit someone like that. Whatever they treat the fibers with it does in deed sheer water and form droplets to keep them dry. I have yet to put them to the test long term in constant wet weather conditions. I tried to rub some droplets in and they just seemed to spread and not soak in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, comfortable, versatile. One of my favorite pairs of pants. Durable, can wear in them for yard work. Comfortable, made of great material, but be sure to order a size up because they do run small. Great look, can wear them to church, to work, or just around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy I found Columbia I made my first purchase from Columbia recently and have made several since. Love these pants. Comfortable. Good material. Look good. Highly recommend these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waist snap Waist snap is the worst idea anyone had and it does not hold. I washed a pair 1 time and the snap fell off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lose the snap. I have many pairs of these pants, and for the most part I like them. I don't mind it that the material is thinner than it used to be, since I live in Florida where it's better to have lightweight clothing. But I do hate the snap. As others here have pointed out, it tends to come undone. On one pair, the snap *didn't* come undone and the whole assembly came out of the fabric, ruining the pants. If Columbia would go back to using a button instead of a snap on these pants, they would be almost perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants I really like these pants. It was stated that they run a little small, so I ordered one size up and they fit well. My only issue is that the waist button/snap will not stay fastened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants for Work and Play My husband loves these pants. He wears them to work and also on the weekends. They are a very cool material, but still nice looking. My husband is 6'8" and about 350lbs...we get the 46x34. The pants are comfortable and a good length for shoes or boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ultimate Roc ll pants These pants are great for the summer, Light weight and cool. Fit is perfect I always worry about mail orders. The best part is they come in bigger sizes then what's in the stores.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tall review I agree with the thinness of the material and the weird snap but for me, the fit covers all that. I am a trim 6'7" and I am happy to get a good fit from any pants and so I am liking these pants just fine for around town. I Wish Columbia would expand their tall pant selection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Up to Standard Similar to the other reviews, the pants are thin. They are not for outdoor use in brush. Also, the snap button does not stay buttoned and the fit is tight across the front while waist is OK. Once more, I had he snap in one pair detach from the pants the first time I used it making the pants unusable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to Columbia Standards This pant is extremely thin. I can live with that but its durability is compromised. Slightly small to sizing. More importantly, the snap waist is awful. It will not stay snapped unless you have a belt on. VERY poor quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Small Fit, Not great quality material Fit of this pant is cut very small in the seat and thigh area. Not cut true to size. Material is to thin and will not last more than a few wears on a day of adventure. Have owned many pair of these in the past and material quality used to be tremendously better, also size cut used to be true, now it is cut to small. I still have my older pants and have stitched them up several times. Wish these were the same as the pants of 4-5 years ago.
