Men’s Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown™ Jacket - Big is rated out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by DaveD629 from Just what I was looking for Product is spot-on! I wanted something warm but not Puffy. It had to be light weight and packable too and this jacket is all of those. I also love the fact that Columbia’s sizing is legit. I wear an XXL and SO many companies have changed their sizing such that XXL is now equivalent to what use to be XL! My one suggestion would be to use downproof outer material to prevent the down from poking through, but I Love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by jlowe1687 from So warm but feathers everywhere I have only had my new coat for a few days but it’s definitely the warmest/lightest coat I’ve ever had. The only problem is that feathers are constantly coming out of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kim99 from Great warm winter jacket I bought this when my last Columbia jacket tore (which was heartbreaking). I’m pretty short, so I was very excited that the extended sizes don’t assume height. I opted for the 1X over the XL for this reason. The arms and body are a tad shorter (still long on me) so it makes it much easier to maneuver. The jacket is warm and dry, and I’ve replaced pretty much every other coat I have with this one. My biggest complaint is that the collar does fold down nicely. It’s great if you zip it all the way up, but if you fold it down a bit, for most everyday use, the right side of the collar will constantly be in your face. I guess if you have a long neck this wouldn’t be an issue. But it’s pretty annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Twinsmom2012 from Love It I hate big bulky coats but living in the Midwest we need the warmth and that is what we had to choose from. When I found this coat I thought I am going to give it a try and I absolutely love it!!! Not bulky at all and keeps me warm. I shoved the driveway in 13 degree weather and was not cold what so ever! Love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PimlicoSpecial from Men’s Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown™ Jacket This is a great winter coat--light weight but warm and true to size. I have several winter coats but this is now the only one I wear. It also has the super Columbia quality. Best winter coat I have ever had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trailhugger from Good Value This coat is very warm and toasty on those cold winter days. The ultralight feeling is great considering the warmth from the down. You can barely feel that you are wearing a winter coat. The pockets are ample and are positioned in good location to my body (ergnomics). It was suggested that I get one size bigger a decision that I don't regret as the coat fit anatomically. Along with a perfect fit a hidden pocket nestled inside the left breast with ample space and zipper secure additional items. Overall I give this coat 5 out of 5 stars. A well designed coat with you in mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dennis12 from Great lightweight jacket I am thrilled to have this jacket as a supplement to my heavy coat. It is lightweight but more important, it allows mobility that heavy jackets don't. I can wear it comfortably in the car on cold mornings zipped up while the car warms up. I have taken hikes when the temp is in the 20s and been comfortable. Went out one morning in the jacket when the wind chill was in the single digits. The only time I felt I needed more layers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Derek89 from Warm but not durable It is definitely a warm jacket, and happy to see a jacket that cones in bigger sizes. My only complaint is the quality just one week of use and already have feathers coming out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WarminWinter from Perfect Jacket for Chicago weather I am a bigger person and had been searching for good quality down jacket for our crazy Chicago winters instead of wearing sweatshirts and fleeces. I couldn’t be happier as this jacket has kept me warm all winter long and it’s the lightest jacket I have ever worn! I am a fan for life and thank you for not forgetting about customers that might wear a size larger than 2X.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Totoro from Awesome Jacket Have used this jacket for multiple outings ranging from cold to wet. This jacket performed great. It works well by itself or combined with other layers. The insulation makes it warm and toasty, providing that instant warmth for a chilly day. Well built. It fits a little large, which for my frame is a good thing. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Granulator1 from December 2016 Purchase I purchased one online from Columbia and I'm glad I did. For an extremely lightweight winter down coat it's warmth is second to none. I wear a fleece jacket underneath it for an added layer and keep toasty even in single digit temps. If you are outdoors a lot and wish to keep warm, I highly recommend this jacket. Bushkill, PA

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed2016 from Waste of money This jacket sounds good in theory, but turns out to be complete waste. The good parts are jacket is light and not restrictive. However that's where the good ends. Functionality: - not warm at all, at least not for north east. I don't get cold that easily, but this jacket is not really good for below 40 degrees. - the sleeves have a non-adjustable opening that's made with an elastic material that is too big in it's relaxed state leaving a hole around your wrist. The biggest issue with the jacket is quality. - There are feathers coming out of it everywhere and not just at the seams, the feathers actually making it through the outer shell. - there are threads getting pulled out of everywhere. I keep cutting them off, but more show up. - the collar doesn't seem to have any insulation in it at all, making it fairly useless. Now I don't know if that's by design, or again quality of how it was made, but the fact remains that the collar is not useful.
