Men's Watertight™ II Jacket - Tall is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 59.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great light weight jacket for an excellent price! love the color, bought this for my son, who works outside, nice that it is water proof, exactly as described!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Already had its testing done. First day that I have it; it pours down rain all day with some fairly good winds. Jacket stayed tight never blew or flopped when tightened down. The hood is perfect for this kind of weather. Other jackets I've tried all had the hoods blow allowing water come blow in when I'm not paying attention. Over all great jacket cant wait to get to do some fishing in the rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jacket I bought this jacket for my son because it's water proof, and he is 6'5 , it's hard to find clothes that fit him. This jacket does? I also bought one for myself, my Mother and my Daughter. Besides being water proof it keeps you warm even though it's lightweight. I Love mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sizing options I was so happy to see that Columbia carried men’s tall sizes. I purchased this jacket as a gift and was satisfied with the fit. For someone who is 6’9”, sleeves are often too short but this jacket really exceeded my expectations, and at a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket This jacket fits very well and is stylish the big plus is it kept me drie in the biggest rain we had in a while.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TO BIG THIS COAT WAS ORDERED AS TALL AND IT SEEM TO BE BIG AND NOT TALL... THE LENGHT OF THE ARM WAS VERY SHORT. NO A GOOD BYING FOR US (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Haven't used the jacket yet but I am pretty sure it will work for what it is intended for... rain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watertight II Love this jacket. I bought an EvaPOURation too and I like the feel of this one for colder weather. Now I have warm and cold rain jackets. The best thing about the Watertight II is it came in Tall in 4X, the EvaPOURation did not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This jacket is great for those that need just a little warmth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from KEEPS YOU DRY BUT NEEDS MORE FEATURES FOR THE PRICE Purchased the The Watertight II jacket just before a two-week trip to Ireland. There is a reason Ireland is multiple shades of green; it rains, and often. The jacket does a very good job of keeping the soggy bits and the dry bits apart. However, for the price, it lacks common features found on less expensive jackets. There is no way to store/secure the hood (VERY annoying and a feature I assumed was included in the design), nor are there any other storage features, besides the two zippered pockets. No chest-high pocket, no interior pocket. So, I am not very enthused about my purchase. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ducky Packable light rain jacket performs well in spring rain heavy downpours - questionable breathability in hotter temps - above 60's No zippered pockets - light weight Main zipper questionable re:durability- sleeve length jacket length true to size

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tall concerns I have zero quality related comments about any of the Columbia garments I own. My negative feedback is only concerning tall lengths. I have a closet full of "tall" branded clothes from various manufacturers and nearly all of them are too short or barely long enough. I understand everyone has a different body and nothing is made to fit everyone. I can not think of a time I have ever heard a tall person complain that their clothes were too long. I can however recall countless occasions where myself or another tall person has expressed frustration and disappointed that the clothes they own or try on or take a chance on are too short in sleeve length. For me, Columbia and this jacket fit right into this frustration. I bought a large tall and exchanged it for an extra large tall to get some extra length and I now have a jacket that is well built and functions well but is still too short in the sleeves but hangs on me like I tablecloth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stowable pocket Stowing is an impossible task. the mesh pocket is not large enough to easily stow the jacket. The pocket mesh should be larger in one pocket to allow enough room to stow the jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good Jacket Cons: -no inner packets -zippers are good -jacket does not breath very good. -fits large at waste. Hate if you order XXL they always think you have a big stomach. Pro: -light -stops wind well -design is nice. -sleeves are long enough for me I am 6'7" 260lbs -

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very tall I purchased the Watertight II Jacket in size 2XT as I am 6'6" and the size guide recommended this fit. Unfortunately the sleeves were too short, and the body size too big. I wish the sleeve length for XLT were closer to 38"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof Windbreaker This was a little thicker than what I expected but will work for cool days in the fall & spring. Packable into a pocket to use for travelling. Would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sleeves are too short Ive ordered another columbia jacket this year, in XLT and it fits fine, I have another columbia jacket similair to this in XLT and it also fits well and functions great, however this one was about 6" short in the sleeves. I'm sure it is of great quality but I was very disappointed in the fit, looking forward to what I can exchange it for

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 2 years - still great I like to give thing a chance to work or fail before reviewing them. Now it's 2 years of use and it's in great shape. I'm 6' 6" so sleeve length is important. On a rain jacket, body length is also important. Both are generous on this jacket. The color hasn't faded and when it's red, many times it will fade early, or fade on one side and not the other. This jacket is in great shape. Zippers, velcro, and all fasteners work . Smart zipper pockets zip from top down so any item in the pocket is more likely to be retained. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really love this jacket It is very light weight and provides great protection from the rain while allowing ease of movement . I would highly recommend this jacket. I also love the tall sizing as I am 6'7" and the length in body and sleeves is great! Thank you Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great rain coat and windbreaker I am 6'4" 215lbs and got the XLT so I can layer with the Columbia Mountain fleece under during the cold. Perfect fit on my long arms and plenty of length in the back. Not sure I would pay $70 for a rain coat but I had a promo code and got it for $40. Great buy at that price...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good around rain jacket. The jacket does run a bit small, where I normally wear a XL Tall I ordered a 2XL Tall and like other reviews indicated the arms run a bit small so this 2XL was just right. Jacket is comfortable and breaths well.
Date published: 2016-04-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product A little small on arms, a little big on body, but adjustable on body. I wish xlt came with larger arm length. I bought 2xlt because I am 6 ft 10 and have long arms. I weigh 235. It fits when I adjust the bottom. I like it a lot, thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Fit, Nice Minimal Design I'm 6'5", 210 pounds and have really long arms and wide shoulders. Most coats either hike up in the back or are too short in the sleeves. I bought the 2XL-Tall in this and it fits great...plenty of room to wear a heavy fleece underneath. I like the minimal-design of this coat as well...I bought a black one and it is very sleek. My only complaints are that there is no inside or breast pocket and the zipper is a bit small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathability I have been looking for a lightweight water repellant and breathable jacket to wear on hikes and biking in 40 - 50 degree weather. I walked yesterday in the wind and ice and light rain, and was really impressed with this jacket. Looks like I'll be wearing it a lot. I wish it had zippered pockets and pit zips.
Date published: 2016-04-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs a little small, very nice I LOVE this jacket, but think it would be better with an inside pocket. EXTREMELY LIGHT - very nice !!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Proportioned for the Tall Great looking jacket, well constructed and from when I tried it on it appeared to be very breathable. However, it was not proportioned appropriately for me. I am 6'5" weigh 230 lbs and have a 36 1/2" sleeve length. XL-Tall is my jacket size except when the jacket is cut slim or very fitter. The jacket fit everywhere except the arm holes and sleeves. The arm holes were cut high -- tight under the arms -- and the sleeves were an inch too short with the jacket on over a T-Shirt. No way I would be able to wear a fleece under it. Had to send it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket I am 6'5" 230 lbs and normally wear a L shirt. I ordered XL tall and it is the perfect size. Big enough that I can comfortably layer underneath it. I wear mine almost daily on my motorcycle to cut the wind and it works well and has provided good rain protection. I like the construction of the jacket and it feels like it will last. The only criticism I have is that I wish it had a chest pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps you dry Bought this for my son who is a truck driver and needed to stay dry in rain. He says this Columbia jacket is great.
Date published: 2016-01-08
Rated 3 out of 5 by from shoulder and arm tight fit seem to read many reviews respecting tight fit on shoulders and arms , maybe the manufacturer would like to comment on why ; why would clothing made of non stretch fabric be made to be so restrictive ?
Date published: 2015-12-27
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The only size 2XLT rain gear I could find... It looks great, and it's lightweight and pretty comfortable, though it doesn't breathe very well. It's not very durable – after a month of regular use in Portland it's started leaking in various spots, and I broke through the elbow without enough force to leave a bruise or scratch on my skin. I wouldn't set out to buy it again, but there aren't really many/any options in my size. For the price, I expect more...an inside pocket would be greatly appreciated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Annoyances Very basic rain jacket. There are two things that annoy me about it though. 1) Pockets are uneven in depth (still functional, but just QA niggle) 2) Sleeves are too tight. If I'm wearing anything of substance long-sleeve underneath, the lining comes out at the cuffs when I put it on. A bit uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for all weather This great looking fall jacket keeps you dry in the rain and warm in the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fitting I am 6'2 and 400lbs and this jacket fits perfect as a 4XT. Breathable, lightweight and water resistant. Perfect throw on and go jacket. It fits well and I have comfortable room to maneuver.
Date published: 2015-10-31
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tall size - sleeves are too short Seems like a nice jacket, but the sleeves are too short. I have a few other Columbia jackets in the same size (LT) that fit perfectly. Not sure why this one is so short.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fitting is odd First, let me say that i love Columbia jackets/coats. I loved my 15 year old parka that i scoured ebay for a used one of the exact model when the old one went out. I love my 15 year old watertight jacket too. my son got one of these last year and it fit me perfectly, so i decided to get one for myself. when i got it, the arms fit 2 sizes smaller than the EXACT same one my son had. This is also after buying and returning a windbreaker that felt like it was made of tissue paper. Luckily, Columbia is incredible about returns and have had no problems returning my jackets to order another. Now, i have to figure out how get the correct fit without losing more money in the process of returns and time. I still love Columbia, but i know that if i cant try it on in a store then fit issues may arise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original I will never forget the day. It was the Sunday, 8/3/2014. My wife (who was 6 months pregnant at the time) went to the movies to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, knowing that the theatre is usually chilly, I grabbed Columbia Men's Watertight Jacket for her comfort. Today however would prove to be different as our viewing areas proved to be quite comfortable. Over the course of the next couple hours we marveled (pun intended) at James Gunn's cinematic masterpiece. Later that evening I ventured out to the store and much to my horror, discovered that my beloved Columbia Men's Tall Watertight Rain Jacket, Black/Charcoal, 3XT had been left behind. I called the movie theater, and as I feared it was not turned in. As such, Guardian of the Galaxy well forever have a taint about it due to this personal tragedy. In my attempt to replace the original, I purchased this model...sadly it did not live up to its namesake. It has somewhat of a slim fit, the sleeves were not as long, and elastic had been added to the cuffs. This was a far cry from the original that had seen me through the Rainy Rock on the Range of 2014 as well as so many rainy walks to class and work. So, to anyone from Columbia that may read my review. I beg you to bring back the original design. It was the greatest light jacket I've ever owned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from REALLY tight sleeves and shoulders I got an XL Tall. I am not fat, but I'm 6'5" and have some muscle too me. The sleeves on this thing must be designed for a runners build with tooth pic arms m, because my arms are extremely snug, my forearms to the point that I'm sure I'm going to bust a seam. To wear a long sleeve under this jacket is next to impossible. And the lining pulls out at the endof the sleeves. It is odd because the torso fits perfectly. If you have any kink of muscle on your arms you will want to go up a size! I'm the idiot that ripped off the tags excited to try my new jacket, only to find it was not the right fit... I tried on other jackets in store so I thought I was safe to buy online, but I guess not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket This jacket is extremely hydrophobic but breezy! Usually I have trouble finding long enough sleeves, but these are perfect. I would like to have more pockets and not to have the netting but overall I am really impressed!
