Men’s Whirlibird™ Glove is rated out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by JLindyC from Great for small people. This glove is a good glove and for the most part will keep you warm on those very cold days skiing. If it's a little warmer that day, you will sweat. However, the fit of these gloves is way too small. I normally wear a large but had to buy an XL and they still were too small. Very hard to get on and very hard to bend your hand. Not sure what Columbia is doing to warrant such small sizes. At this rate, I probably needed an XXXL.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Chmiels from Worthless pair of gloves These gloves do nothing to keep your hands warm. Even with the "Omni Heat" my fingers are still numb after a short time outside. They are no better than the cheap pair I spent less than half the money on. Don't waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jomez97 from Two Thumbs Up! These gloves are great for snowboarding, sledding or just any snowy conditions! The omni-heat keeps your hands super warm and the gloves keep your hands dry! I got these gloves with a matching pair of snow pants and I love them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Graps82 from Not waterproof Despite what the product specs say, these gloves are not waterproof. I'd worn these gloves six or seven times while skiing in the Cascades and the heavy, wet snow penetrated the gloves' fabric after only two or three hours outside. Moreover, the nylon fabric along the beltstrap had shown major wear and tear and that's only after a half-season's use. In the end, spend a few more bucks on Goretex Burton or DaKine gloves to keep your hands warm and dry. It'll be worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by clint0625 from why i buy columbia I own a Bugaboo jacket, pants & gloves that are close to 20 yrs old. An Omni Heat layered parka I bought 3 years ago. These gloves complete a new OmniHeat Jacket, snow pants, fleece outfit as I am starting skiing again after an 8 yr hiatus. I never thought to buy anything but Columbia-Quality, Value, Customer Service-there is none better!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by LoveTheParks from runs small Before ordering these, I checked the size on another pair of Columbia gloves I own. I ordered a mens large, just like the existing ones, but these were very different in size. These new ones seemed like they were kids size. I exchanged them for another style at our local Columbia outlet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dodgson from Okay, not great I'm disappointed. I *love* how the Omniheat lining works on my Bugaboo parka, but in the gloves it doesn't seem to do much beyond just general insulation. Columbia seems to be having some quality control problems with the embroidering on the logos lately. I tried two pairs of Torrent Ridge gloves (seems to be the "model" this kind replaced) at my local B*** P** S*** and they both had problems with the logo starting to unravel after just a few days of casual use. Now the logo on these is very slightly starting to unravel. I'd say for the cost they're just not all that great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Beki from WAY too small for a mens XL! They were the largest available, an XL, and even tight on me, and my hands are skinny. He couldn't get them on, passed his knuckles. For the price, Im pretty disappointed. Quality was good, but of course we have not had a chance to see how warm they are due to being way too small.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hrothgar from Poorly made and not very warm These gloves looked great, and seemed to be a very good deal. However, after one day skiing with no falls or stress on the glove, they started coming about at the seam in two fingers and palm. Very poor construction. Also, despite 40 degree weather, my fingers were getting cold. Thankfully, the store agreed to refund my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pwterri from Nice gloves but runs small These gloves are very nice but they do run small. I had to return the size Large for an XLarge. The customer service folks at Columbia were very helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gac14 from Nice but too small Very nice gloves, well constructed. Measured my hand according to website, and ordered Large. Very tight fit, uncomfortable. Had to send back and re-order XL. Hope they fit. Love Columbia overall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LRfreeze from the look tricks you The gloves are less effective than very simple and less expensive - wind resistant gloves. Would have liked to return after first use as my fingers where frozen but the 10 days (I think) where over so I lost $55 to the impressive look. Hope does not happen to you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JL1980 from Followed their size chart--didn't fit I followed the sizing chart on the website for the gloves, and the medium was way, way too small for me unfortunately. I was able to give them to my friends little brother, though. I had a sneaking suspicion that the mediums would be too small, but the size guide made it seem like the large would be way too big.
