Rated 5 out of 5 by philbert519 from Perfect ski jacket Bought this jacket to take to Banff in February (it gets cold up there). I would ski with both layers on, wearing a longsleeve t-shirt underneath and I would be warm all day. Actually at some points I got too warm near the end of a long day. Taking off the outer shell and just wearing the inside was perfect for dinners and running to the outdoor hot tub. Love this jacket and will be looking to Columbia for my snowpants next!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Misfitquilter from Not as warm The only problem I had is that the sleeves are only lightly lined so they are not that warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JScottS from Great I got this jacket about a week ago and it’s been great. Living in Colorado it can be very cold in the winter. This winter so far has been mild but the jacket is extremely warm. So I can imagine how warm it’ll keep me in a good freeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MtnPhotog from Exceeded expectations This is by far the best jacket I have owned. The top feature for me is the fact that it keeps you warm in the coldest temps but does not sweat you when you get in a warmer area. I recently wore the liner over a t shirt in 10 degree weather for an extended period of time and was comfortable but while wearing that same outfit indoors I remained comfortable and did not feel the need to remove the jacket because I got too hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheCatsMeow from The hubbs loves it! This jacket is wonderful! It looks amazing on my husband and is a great length on his torso (even with his belly) and in the arms. The hood is an added bonus and the quality and warmth are worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nastynate from Very nice jacket This coat is exactly what i needed. The inner and outer coats can be worn on their own. The inner jacket is good for a chilly day with mild wind and the outer is good for watery/snowy conditions (it also provides some warmth as well). Put together and its really warm. Had no issue when a snow storm came through a few days ago. My wife and I were outside playing in it the whole time. One note, i wish the inner jacket were a tad bit longer like the outer layer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jcroz from Getting Ready for Winter I got this jacket for this winter season so I have not had a chance to test it in winter weather. The inner jacket is great on it's own and the full kit looks great. The only thing would be the snow guard is not removable and the tighter elastic prevents a truly comfortable fit. Rated 4 out of 5 by Arnjms from Great Jacket Love this coat! Only thing stopping me from giving it 5⭐️ was that I wished the inner jacket was longer, comes just below the belt line. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by PierreLB from First winter coat in 12 years. I am hot blooded. I can go out in -20 celcius with just a raincoat. I spent 12 years enduring cold without an issue! Please take note, I am 320lbs 6.2ft. I moved from the city to the country, and Winter can go down to -40. I bought this coat in prevision of my move, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Winter is Coming, and I am prepared to confront it now! Coat looks great, love the hood. Pockets are comfy and runs deep. Also love the waist that's elastic! Thanks Columbia for making amazing products. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chimes from Great jacket! This is my first Columbia jacket that's been heavier weight than a softshell or fleece jacket and I am very happy with it. I like the fact that you can zip out the inner jacket and use it on days that aren't as cold or combine it with the outer jacket for days that are colder. I highly recommend this jacket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by imre from warm enough and not too hot now living near boston, so its an easy winter and dont need crazy negative temps jacket. this is just about right. go for a walk in 20 degree weather and snowing - its just right. have been out in 10 degree weather and still works well. repels rain and snow well. its light without too much bulk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LakotaLeo from Whirlibird Interchange Jacket It was very warm and it has been down to 38 below here in South Dakota. The problem was that the liner made my arms sweat something terrible. If it had a fleece liner I would have been much happier. I couldn't stand the liner sticking to my arms. I guess I'll have to wear a long sleeved shirt with it because it is awesome besides that one issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LoungechairOutdoorsman from Finally a good winter coat for bigger guys. I am only 5'10, but weigh in at 335 pounds. I have a large abdomen that requires 4X t-shirts in order to not be tight. I bought this coat in size 3X, and I have not been disappointed. It is a little snug on me, but I did buy smaller than what I normally wear, but it is not restrictive. I live in Massachusetts and this coat works very well.
