Men’s Widgeon™ Quad Parka is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Columbia Quad Parka (not really) I was looking for a new waterfowl 4in1 parka. I have had other brands and was not satisfied with the quality. I love my other Columbia products so purchased the Widgeon Quad Parka. The main selling point was "Guaranteed Waterproof." I was disappointed that this QUAD parka does not include the liner. The name Quad parka is misleading. Without a liner it is just a Parka shell or rain coat. To get a true Quad Parka I will have to spend an additional $175 for a liner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought both Bought both the Quad and Wader parkas. Different uses. Excellent innovations made over the years. I have had 3 generations of this product and its probably the best layered system ever built. I'd like to see the internal breast pocket brought back and the chest hand warmer pockets. New water proof and breath ability are vastly improved. Still waiting on the turbo liner for the new shell to come into stock. Its getting late in the season. Please consider selling the turbo liner and shell together again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did they change it? I've had the parka for the past 15 years and loved it. It has lost it's waterproofing after attempts to revitalize. I loved the quick loader feature and wanted to know why they removed it. It would be great if they brought that back along with some different camo waterfowl patterns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Awesome Got my Columbia parka back in 1994. After 20 years, it was no longer waterproof, so I sent the whole thing back to Columbia. They refunded the TOTAL cost after 20 years, so I bought this Widgeon, which happened to be on sale at the time. Columbia honors its warranty! The same thing happened with my Eddie Bauer raincoat and they sent me a store credit for $20. I'll never buy from Eddie Bauer again. God bless Columbia for great products and 100% honoring their 100% satisfaction guarantee and warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Hunting Waterfowl Made a decision to buy this after I read on multiple sites that this was the best hunting jacket ever made for waterfowl hunting. And it is. It's simple with all the necessary components to be happy with the simplicity. Pockets for shells, hands, and a phone. The wrist straps I think are pretty sweet. They tighten down and don't come loose on my wrists. Very secure fit. The jacket is an over jacket with no liner just fyi. You can purchase a liner or where your own layers underneath. I plan on buying the liner eventually. It comes with a nice hood and hat kind of deal attached, but it can be removed. It has a reflective material inside the jacket that is the Omni heat deal Columbia has got going on. Basically it's like a space blanket built into the jacket. So it's extremely light and extremely warm. It allows no cold in, but somehow allows heat and moisture out. This is big time guys and girls. Technology... we live in a blessed age! Anyways I love it. Got the reatree max 5 pattern had to wait like 3 months for it to become available in XL. I'm 6'2 230 and it's still somewhat big.. so obviously big so you can layer but yeah test it out you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from no liner I love the columbia line but when I purchased the quad parka it did not come with a liner nor did it say quad parka shell, like the wader jacket says. I think it should be noted that it is only the shell. Other wise great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST. JACKET. EVER. Field tested this jacket on a sleet, snow, freezing rain filled day on the Long Point Marsh in Lake Erie back in November... I was the ONLY person of the eight hunters in our group - who was warm and DRY, after 12 hours of pure misery on the lake. Super functional, great pockets and I love the design. Most importantly, it's the best hunting suit I've ever purchased. BUY IT! You will not regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product as always! Got this jacket, actually a shell, for my hubby for Xmas. I was worried that it would be to big,I got him a large, could've gone with a medium though because it does run quite big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Widgeon Quad Parka Purchased my first Quad Parka in the mid-1980s, and took advantage of the lifetime warranty the first time in 2007. That replacement came with a feature called Quick Loader, which regrettably appears to have been dropped. It worked very well to keep 6 or so shotgun shells at hand for quick reloads. I sent that coat in for warranty during the summer of 2016, but got a merchandise credit instead of a replacement, as a replacement in my size was not available at the time. I see the Widgeon Quad parka is again available, but noticed that our camo choices are pretty limited and the quick loader feature has apparently been deleted. I have been very pleased with the performance of both previous versions of the Quad Parka, but wish we could get some hunter centric modifications to increase the utility of the new product. I would be happy to speak to a product manager about some features I would like to see in the Quad Parka. The Columbia Widgeon Quad Parka is a fine product, and the ability to remove or add a liner and a hood make it the most versatile hunting jacket available, which is probably the reason it has been the most seen in duck blinds for the past 35 years. Duck hunters need water proof, wind proof, and flexibility from their hunting jackets, and the Quad Parka delivers all these qualities admirably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Parka I bought this jacket hoping it would be the same great quality as the rest of my Columbia apparrel. And it is. Comfortable, durable and has the seams sealed inside & out. It runs a little large (not too much), but I expect the Turbodown liner will help that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, disappointed that it does not include a liner My wife and I bought QUAD parkas last year for a December trip through Germany. We absolutely loved the parka's performance and I decided to purchase the same parka, in Realtree camo, for hunting. I was very disappointed that the camo QUAD parka didn't come with a liner (like my previous QUAD parka purchase) and the product description does not make it clear that liners are sold separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inclement Weather Camo Jacket Excellent warmth and water (rain and snow) resistance. Wore it over vest, shirt, and thermo layer (long sleeve Omni-Tech shirt) and stayed warm and dry in snow and rain and sub-freezing conditions. Extra long length was also beneficial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WIDGEON JACKET Great jacket. This jacket provides great protection from the rain while standing in the duck blind. The hand warmer pockets on the chest are the best thing about the jacket. It also has omni heat which really seems to add warm. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a great duck hunting jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mirror interior could cause problems for hunting The interchange system should include a very light weight zip in liner to hide the mirror finish on the interior when the main zipper is open. Although the little dots are great for retained heat etc., reflections startle deer. Some pockets in the liner would be great. Color, finish similar to the hood liner. I use my coat when it is cool and wet and is great on the 4 wheeler.
