Rated 1 out of 5 by Baloo from What the heck? This shoe did not survive four months!!!! Some idiot put a fabric on the top of the toe that tears easily. Both of my shoes were torn in the same spot. I did not do any hiking. Just used them the past few months for back and forth to work. Lousy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kelly15 from color, style great, and for a basic short term wear shoe it is ok. This shoe can loose its shape and breaks down fairly easily We purchase Columbia Sportswear products and most of the time are satisfied. I would focus on support design of your trail shoes, this is the one area we find falls short at about 3 months of wear-daily. Trails and concrete surfaces. Often we purchase insole supports for longer wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dls68114 from Gives you the support where you need it. I had worn the Traverse by Columbia and went through several pairs. I hike on nearby walking trails in the area. When I was not able to find the Traverse again I tried another name brand. The arch support was terrible and I found out the hard way that their sole material is very slippery on the smallest patch of ice. Would love to have the Traverse back, but the Woodburn Wide is a great alternative.
