Men’s Woodburn II Plus Waterproof Leather Shoe is rated out of 5 by 20.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Scoutyjones2 from Not waterproof After a couple of months wearing these for dog walking and hiking, to state these are waterproof is a reach. Your socks will get wet just walking/hiking thru dew/wetgrass. I struggle with Columbia's claims of waterproof shoes. Second pair I have bought (first pair were not waterproof at all even though they claimed...received store credit so bought a different pair) and these fail the waterproof test. Disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by davemjrm from Nice trail shoe I found the shoe to comfortable. The width is a little too narrow so the laces do not gather up as much as they should. The sole is sturdy and provides good traction on groomed trails. I have not used them on rougher terrain yet. Since I have only used them in cooler temperatures I do not know how well they will breath when it gets warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cloud9 from Great Shoe I purchased these shoes with the intentions of wearing them to work as I am on my feet all day and also wearing them to do moderate hiking. They have been great for me. They truly are waterproof all the way to the tongue of the shoe, the only complaint is that they do get a little hot but that's to be expected with any leather shoe. All in all they are a great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MMW35 from VERY NICE MUTLI PURPOSE SHOE This shoe can be worn for any activity - outdoor walk, light trail hike, casual night out or day-to-day office work with business casual. To top it off it is water proof and keeps your feet dry. This is not one off those shoes that claims to be waterproof. Like all Columbia gear is performs as described. I have several pairs of Columbia shoes and truly like them all without any complaints or purchase misgivings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DannyJ from Excellent shoe! I was looking for a waterproof sneaker and it led me to this. Unlike some hiking boots this is not heavy and is similar in weight to a sneaker so you can still walk fast or run in these. They are waterproof and breathable and feel very comfortable on my feet. The traction is a great grip and more then just a basic sneaker. If you are on wet grass your feet don't get wet. But if you are going through actual water or puddles or deep mud then you want to wear your taller boots that day. But for what I intend my purpose of this shoe for, I like it a lot. The shoe has a great look too. Would fit right in at the office for business causal and doesn't look like a workboot. I ordered a size 15 because I wear a size 14 in some shoes and I wear a size 15 in other shoes. I thought that these shoes were true to size and if anything the size 15 feels a tiny bit bigger if anything but they fit me great and are not too small, so I say definitely go true to size. Laces up nice and ties nice. The person's review that took pictures of the color "MAJOR, MADDER BROWN" is correct it's not an accurate picture of what that color is, it's more like an olive light green but it is still a little brownish, but I like the color. Overall great shoe and great quality. Says made in China but everything is and I have always been with another competitor outdoors company but I thought they didn't offer as much of a selection as Columbia in this type of shoe low cut hiking segment and I actually had a hard time selecting these shoes from Columbia because you offer so many nice shoes and I was tossed up between this shoe and another Columbia shoe but I went with this one because I like the look of it. It's got a stylish look yet is super practical as a hiking and outdoor type shoe/sneaker. Looks professional on your feet too which is what sold me on it. Keep making good things Columbia, you have my business. I love my Columbia winter snow boots too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CAVS from Comfortable Shoes These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The first couple of times I wore them, was when attending trade shows where I was doing a lot of walking on concrete floors. No soreness or blisters even after two days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Altintren from Colour is different It's a very nice shoe. Comfortable, lite and waterproof but unfortunately the colour is different than webpage. I've chosen Madder Brown colour but it's obviously Olive Green (like military green). It's far from brown. But I liked this colour too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rfd1 from Great shoe for the right conditions I was looking for a hiking shoe I could run in on over damp meadows (nearly every morning in coastal northern CA) -- The Peakfreak line fits this purpose well. They are very light, flexible enough to run in while providing decent support and grip, waterproof enough for an hour's run over wet grass, animal tracks, and trails, and nice looking for casual use, even at the office. I also hike in them regularly, preferring them to hiking boots. They probably aren't ideal for backpacking, given their light duty construction. The first pair I purchased nearly two years ago and I'm still wearing them almost daily. I’ve purchased a second pair in the high top Chukka version. The standard shoe works for most occasions, the high top better for cross country in wetter conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jratt69 from Great shoe What a nice shoe - it feels great and is very comfortable - almost forget it is being worn. I have a number of Columbia shoes because when you wear a size 15 and you find a quality shoe that fits, looks great, and lasts - you keep coming back. I have never been disappointed with a co.umbia product
