Rated 3 out of 5 by dlaw42 from Runs quite large I wear a large, almost universally, so it was disappointing to find that the sleeves hang over my hands and the shirt is baggy everywhere else. Totally love the quality but online shopping can be such a drag with Columbia. If you wear a large, order a medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by anna24 from great hot weather shirt Have a pool cleaning business in Arizona and was looking for a shirt that would cover for the sun but also keep me cool. Who knew that a long sleeved shirt could keep you cool. It functioned great on both my concerns. Ordered a size XL which fit well, but the sleeves were to long. I just rolled them up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by marlinhunter888 from Wear This 300+ Days A Year.... I am a charterboat captain and my clothes are everything to me. I wear this shirt over 300 days a year and they are holding up great! I bought four different colors but I mainly wear the white ones. I have fourteen of the white shirts and they still look as good as the day I bought them. They keep me well protected from the sun but also keep me cool when the fishing gets crazy. I have gotten blood and guts all over every all of them and it washes out every time. Great shirt Columbia!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JackL from Size Normally, in every other shirt, I wear a M or L. When I read your sizing chart, I first ordered a M and it was way to large and sleeves about 2" too long. So I returned it and ordered a S. It fits about like a M of other shirts but, again, the sleeves are about an inch too long. I have to roll them up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel83 from zero rules omni freeze I work outside in Alabama and it been known to get pretty hot and humid here. Essentially everything I wear is some form of dri fit material. I ordered these to give them a try and could not be happier. Hands down the best dri fit material I've ever wore. These perticular shirts are on another level compared to there competition. They have a really good look to them as well. Fantastic across the board.

Rated 5 out of 5 by deanl from Fantastic! Just a fantastic shirt in hot dry weather! Put it to work clearing woods/brush over the past few weekends. Baking in the sun (90's) all day and sweating hard but actually comfortable. Super soft and does not feel clingy yet effectively wicks sweat away while feeling cool at the slightest breeze. The only downside I've found so far is that the fabric does seem to snag and tear easily but it was put through a trial-by-fire. Overall, a great investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Colinb from Great Shirt for coaching baseball This shirt, although long sleeve, is not as hot as you would think. Not sure if it is the cooling effect, but wore it during a baseball game in 90 degree weather and it was very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pilgrim230 from Great Outdoor Shirt for the Sun and Heat I purchased the shirt to help keep the sun off while running during the hot summer days. It breathes exceptionally well and I can wear it 3-4 times between washings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happyinthepines from Couldn't be happier.. I have three of the Zero Rules long sleeve shirts and use them primarily for mountain bike riding. They work great for a mid-weight shirt that is warm enough in the fall weather and also cool enough for the warmer days. At $29.90 this performance wear is a real steal!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by RichinHOU from BE PATIENT!!! I'm glad that I read some of the other reviews before writing my review because they verified and crystallized my experience. First of all, I have a white one and maybe Clark Kent can see some blue patterns but I can't. I didn't know what to expect and maybe I was doubtful that this product worked. When I put it on, I was surprised by how loosely it fit. Normally, I wear a men's large. Occasionally, I need an XL but I can't think of an occasion in the last 40 years where a medium was needed. This size "L" shirt fit loosely with the arms approximately 2-3" too long for my 32" sleeve length. I doubled the extra sleeve length back to my wrist and each sleeve stayed there all day. I went out to play golf with an initial temperature of 80° that climbed to 92° before the round was finished. Humidity was very high. I was MISERABLE for the first 15 minutes and the sweat was flowing freely. I almost took the shirt off; in fact, if I had some extra time and could have found a place, the trial would have stopped right there. But then, I began to notice that my arms were slightly cooler. If you've ever gotten slightly wet during a summer rain and then gone inside, you know this feeling. YOU ARE WET TO THE SKIN. Yuck. But wait: The wetness starts to create a cool layer near the skin as it evaporates. It is not a normal feeling. You are not "cool and dry". This would be very comfortable. You are "clammy" or "moist and cool". If you prefer "hot and sweaty" to "clammy" then maybe this product is not for you. It is a subtle feeling that becomes more apparent the longer you are outside. As the round went on, I noticed that my playing partners were complaining about the heat. If I felt any different from the start of the round, I was more comfortable, not less. Still "clammy". But not hot. I am interested in learning if the size is larger by design. Perhaps, a size "M" would be a better fit for me. Also, I would be interested in learning how it worked in drier climates. Bottom Line: It is not a miracle but an asset in reducing your body temperature during extended stays outside. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by finchey35 from Awesome Shirt I almost didn't purchase this shirt because of the reviews, but I'm glad I did. I'm an avid river rafter and even after purchasing it I was hesitant to wear it on the river because of the bad reviews. I was on the Colorado River in Utah and it kept me cool and protected me from the sun. I moved to long sleeve shirts a couple years ago to keep my body temperature down and this shirt does just that. The material is a little thicker than the short sleep Zero Rules shirts, but I loved the long sleeve version and I will wear it year round.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lcpnc from White isn't White The pictures don't show it but the white color is actually white with tiny light blue circles over the entire shirt. Returning immediately. Had to rate the fit but never opened the bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by letshike from disappointed I ordered several shirts called omni freeze a couple of years ago and wore them to death thought this was its replacement but this seemed like flimsy thin cloth which strangely enough does not feel as cool as the heavier tougher shirt of two years ago.. maybe it would be okay if I were not comparing it to the old ones..it just seemed like this might have been cheaper for them to make than the old ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trouttracker from Great Shirt Just like the short sleeve shirt, this is a fantastic shirt. Fits a little loose, but that is the way I like my tshirts to fit. Omni-freeze is a good as advertised. Long sleeves kept me from getting sunburn on my arms while still keeping me cool. I worked in my yard all day in this shirt with heat index over 100 and kept me cooler than any thing else I have. You have have to sweat to make it work the best but there was no problem with that when I wore this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LeicaMike from Awesome! I recently utilized this product during my photo shoots in Hawaii. At various locations it was extremely hot and humid. I was able to utilize the product with a very high degree of success and comfort throughout the day with absolutely no issues. The UPF works fantastic as well, no mess of having to put on extra sunscreen with this product. Works well as a rash guard in the water as well! I will recommend the product to my followers! Best, Mike

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hobbes1808 from Great if you are soaking wet I purchased this shirt in hopes it would help keep me cool while spending two weeks walking in the mountains of Haiti. The technology does work, but only if the shirt is really wet. If you sweat a lot this shirt is for you, but for me it was terrible. The shirt is a great quality, but because of the Omni-freeze lining, I found it to be much warmer to wear than my UA or nike combat shirts. Not nearly as breathable. I did not over heat, but was noticeably uncomfortable in it, unless I poured water over it. I love Columbia products, but this shirt just missed the mark for me.
