Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best t-shirt EVER!!!! These t-shirts not only look great and fit great but they keep you cool as well. When the wind blows, you get a terrific blast of coolness from the shirt. It is laid back enough to be casual, but in can still be paired with a pair of nice jeans or shorts for a nice dinner out as well. Only problem is I don't have the bank account to order all the colors and shirts I want. Definitely recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great shirt This shirt is very light, feels like you don't have one on. It's like a dry fit but is even thinner. I wear a size large and most of the time a large is a bit small, however this fits me a bit big. I tried to do the was and dry to shrink it but there's not much cotton in it. I do like it though and I wear it regularly. The color I got was a heather grey but it looks more like silver

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Runs stupidly large, but a great shirt I'll be honest, I've only worn this shirt for one workout, and haven't abused it in a high heat environment. But so far it's nice and lightweight and I can already see why people rave about the material. But let's talk sizing. Something has gone horribly awry at Columbia lately. I am 6'3", a trim 180, 41" chest, and I buy L in every shirt, sight unseen. Per the size guide I'm right on the line of M and L. If I didn't know better (and read reviews), I'd have bought the L. But due to some sizing issues with other Columbia products lately, I trusted the reviews and wisely ordered the M. And the M... is literally the exact same size of every size L t-shirt I own. Because it's not an active fit, it looks and feels exactly like a L casual t-shirt. For me, it's the perfect size, but had I gone with the L it clearly would have been way too big. This thing isn't even tight on the chest - maybe if I was a 44" chest it would be more snug, but likely not uncomfortable. So do yourself a favor and size down! But having said all that, I can't wait to take this out in the desert and decide if I want to buy a bunch more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these t-shirts I love these t-shirts. They fit relatively loose which is my preference, especially around the collar and shoulders. They feel silky smooth. They are very well made and they wick moisture away. I am 5'10", 185 lbs and athletic. I play racquet sports. I wear a large and it fits great. I have tried a number of other leading brands and I have now settled on only buying Columbia t-shirts. The only obvious downside to the product is the high cost. I can afford these t-shirts and own about 8 all total. I love the different colors. They are vibrant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MEN'S ZERO RULES™ SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT Great shirts to have on those long hike in the warmer months. I like them so well I purchased more than one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shirt Both my husband and son have this shirt. Wish it came in more colors as between them, they have them all and some overlap. It does run a size small. My husband is usually a medium and my son is a large but they both take a size smaller in this shirt. It is very cool in the summer and looks good too. It can snag so I line dry them. My son wears his year round unless it’s sub-zero, a common occurrence in Wisconsin winters. Overall, I would recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt I can't say enough about this shirt. It's comfortable, great looking, easy to care form and a great value. Comfortable to wear around the house and great looking to wear when I'm out and about in Washington DC. Columbia, I can't thank you enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great running shirt I went for a 1 hour run. @ 85 degrees, 65% humidity. First thing first, this shirt is very comfy and quite quick dried. Regarding the cooling effect, after about half an hour the fabric temprature goes a little bit lower than ambient don't expect to be chilled by it, you wont be. All together a good shirt. Didn't yet run at day time, the cooling effect might be more noticable then. I usually take a medium with columbia. The small was like a medium for other brands. Buy a smaller size since this is not a tight fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you sweat? You need this shirt I sweat a lot. Wet shirts are uncomfortable and stink. I found a great answer in the shirt. Sure I still sweat, but the material does an excellent job of wicking moisture away. Chaffing is minimized and I'm able to exercise longer and more comfortably. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great summer shirt If you looking for a cool and good looking shirt, you should check out these shirts. They are excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Shirt, Runs Large Because "medium" size is so disappointedly large, I can't say I'm getting the cooling effect I was hoping to see. Comfortable shirt, very disappointed in sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Zero Rules Short Sleeve Shirt I have 3 of these and love them. Extremely comfortable, great for fishing, no binding. Get a little moisture on these and the slightest breeze feels cool. They are also great in cooler months as an undershirt. I only have good things to say about these shirts. Plus they really look good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good gift This was a present for father's day for my dad who plays tennis rain or shine (usually the latter). He says it fits well and looks good. He's not sure if it's doing its job with the cool technology but otherwise it's a good sport shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around technical shirt It's a superb technical shirt that I'm using year round in Greece. In the winter I use it as base layer under an omni-dry jacket and stand alone the rest of the year. It is a great vfm shirt for those that are active during all seasons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Performing Shirt - slightly large I bought this shirt based upon reviews without trying it on. In other Columbia apparel I wear a medium - although medium can be a little large on me. I found the fit of this shirt to be pretty similar to other Columbia's mediums - that being, a little larger than medium. This shirt isn't their "Active" fit, so don't expect a form fitting shirt. The medium is a little larger than I would like, however, for summer outdoor hot/sweaty shirts, I think it will work. However, I probably will not wear it as a fashion shirt. That said, I'm not sure a small would fit any better. The fabric tends to hang in odd places on my body. Overall, I think the shirt is an excellent value at a sale price. I'm not sure I would be willing to buy it at full retail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Warm Weather Shirt This is a wonderful shirt for those hot days. Fits great, keeps you cool and dry. I had 2 of these shirts which I wore in the summer in both Disney World and Las Vegas. Have since bought another one. I would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As if it's 5-10F cooler... Based on the name of the fabric, I'd (skeptically) hoped for a wonder-material that somehow feels cold even in the heat. For me, that was not the case, but I was pleasantly surprised. I put this to the test by playing tennis on a sunny, 90F day with 65% humidity and hardly any breeze. Of course it was hot outside and I was sweating profusely. My uncovered arms and legs felt hot. Under my shorts, socks and tennis cap, I felt hot. However, my upper body was reasonably comfortable...not cool, but not hot either. It was like my upper body was playing tennis on a day that was 5-7 F cooler. The cooling effect works better if there's a good breeze...then maybe feels like 10 F cooler than ambient. One other unexpected benefit. After tennis, my shirt is usually soaked with sweat so I take it off and change into a dry t-shirt for the drive home. I often have to wrestle and contort my body to remove a soaked shirt since it sticks to my skin. However, even when wet, this shirt lifts off of skin easily and can be removed with minimal effort. For the above reasons, I bought a second shirt. Up to this point, I've been buying synthetic tennis t-shirts from Adidas, Nike and Under Armour. Those are still nice products, but if I know it's going to be really hot outside, I'll reach for my Omni-Freeze Zero shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good After several weeks of using this shirt on my rowing machine outdoors in Arizona in the summer, I have to say that it is all it's cracked up to be. The material is comfortable. The shirt sizing is accurate. It has come through 20+ washes just fine. And yes, it is a lot cooler than a sweaty cotton t-shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband's go-to everyday shirt This is a perfect all-summer-long, easy-to-wear, easy-to-launder shirt for my husband. He wears it to work out or for a run to the hardware store, for home office work or to relax on the patio. It wicks to keep him cool, and it's comfy without an undershirt. He has several of this shirt. The only issue is that it is easily snagged, so it's not for wearing under a day pack for our short-to-mid-length hikes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shirt but..... Love the shirt, however within a month both the "logo" and the "C" on Columbia started peeling off. Bought 5 shirts and so far the other 4 are doing OK so I'll watch and see how they hold up.
Date published: 2016-08-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I was looking for these types of shirts for the longest time but never had any luck with them. Other brands would be too short/tight on the sleeves, shoulders, or stomach area, too thin, too thick, etc. These are perfect. Great material not too thin/thick, perfect length in the sleeves, and general overall fit. About the fit, however, they do run large. I bought large and medium based on the reviews here and returned the large as the medium fit perfect with just enough room to not have me go the size up. So happy with these I bought up every color I could find!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed I sent the entire shipment back. did not like anything about the shirts. material is bad and the shirts had no structure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not thrilled Bought on premise that the shirt will use sweat to cool my body by 10 degrees and I feel no difference in this shirt and any other shirt. $30 wouldn't be a bad price if it held to its claims.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This shirt really is designed to keep you outside! I live in a high desert so being outside for extended periods can be challenging given the heat and sun intensity. I purchased two of these shirts in black and grey. I've had these on in 90+ degree heat at altitude as well as at sea level and both kept me cool and outside. Since I have purchased one in each color and naturally the lighter colors are a bit cooler, but only a bit. This fabric is amazing stuff. One side note though I walked into a grocery store from 93 degree heat and absolutely froze in there, so take a fleece - no joke. The fabric pulled all the heat off my body it was trying generate to balance its self. Beyond that this T worth having as a summer go to shirt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you like a tighter fitting exercise shirt, look elsewhere Never fails. Companies get it just right with a shoe, shirt, or shorts and then decide to change it. Columbia had it *just right* with their old Titanium shirts. I bought quite a few back in 2010 and I STILL use them...and I have been really tough on them. Perfect material, strong, but lightweight and most importantly a great fit. These shirts are definitely not Titaniums. They run really big. OK for an outside shirt that you like a little loose I suppose. I attached a pic showing one of my old Titanium shirts (red) laid on top of the new Zero Rules shirt. You be the judge. I bought two of these shirts, but I will not be buying more. If Columbia brought back the old Titanium shirts, I'd probably buy 20.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shirt out there I own 8 of these shirts, both short and long sleeve. They are hands down the best shirts I have ever worn. They don't stretch or loose shape after repeated washings. They don't retain odor after working out. They dry fast. The logo stays put and doesn't peel off. I haven't been able to find a shirt that fits as well as these or keeps performing in everyday use, from work to workout, then to weekend hiking. PLEASE COLUMBIA DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wrong climate Really like the feel of this shirt. Super comfortable! I'm not sure how it does in the hot weather. It is 40 degrees outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy !! Just got the shirt and have worn it several times. I use it to run in and I am very pleased with the results, so far. Size was perfect and sweat was absorbed well by the shirt. Very Happy !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size and colore The large is substantially larger than the PFG's 2 years ago. The white has faint small blue squares through out the material taking away from the all white look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This shirt fits well and non-restrictive The product fits true to size, which I have not always found with other Columbia shirts. The lightweight material is non-restrictive to allow free movement in all activities

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor fit and bad color I order two of the same shirt same size and they have a completely different fit. one is very tight and the other is very lose. There is is no consistency to the fit. Also the color I purchased was a dark charcoal color and the shirts arrived in a light grey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good when big Im a bigger guy who wears scrubs to work and with traditional cotton style shirts i would sweat all the time. But now with the cool tech shirts i stay cooler with scrubs on and with moisture wicking if i do sweat i dont feel like i just out of a swamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps you cooler in hot weather While training for a 13 mile paddleboard race in SW FL; I was constantly battling 90 degree heat and 70% humidity and overheating was a constant concern. After wearing the shirt; I noticed a substantial difference in my body heat and ability to push through the race without being extremely fatigued in spending 3 1/2 hours in the heat in the race. This definitely made the difference in my ability to perform and I would recommend this product to anyone who is an endurance athlete and needs cooling abilities
