Rated 5 out of 5 by DougnKS from Perfect This is my third omni zero shirt. I buy these for running in the Kansas summer, which consists of unbearable humidity. These shirts wick away the sweat which keeps the shirt from sticking to the skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SlowOldMan from Dry. Not Magic. Nice, smooth material. Fit is true to size. (I'm S, bordering on XS, and this fits me OK.) It's good at wicking and feeling pretty dry, which is probably 98% of feeling cooler. Does the "Omni-Freeze" technology have magic tiny air conditioners? No, but I didn't really expect them. Performs a lot like my older Titanium Omni-Tech shirts (8 years, and still going).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smokieshiker from Great Shirt I really like these shirts, probably have a dozen of them in all the colors. Use them for casual wear and also hiking/backpacking. They perform exactly as advertised in regards to moisture wicking and cooling. Price is such that once they do wear out or get damaged in the backcountry I know I got my monies worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rwparker35 from Excellent for hot weather I own three of these shirts and love them for camping, hiking, backpacking, sailing, etc. when the weather is hot. They offer great sun protection and just a touch of cooling. They are pretty light and don't hold much odor. These do run a little on the large size. I typically wear a medium in most shirts, but wear a small in these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IndianaMary from So Comfortable I bought this shirt in a couple of colors for my husband. He loves Columbia shirts because they are so comfortable. They have a little stretch to them so they don't bind or pull when you are moving. It's a big plus that they help you to stay cool when it's hot out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CoolAbove10k from Keeps your temperature regulated I wasn't sure about this shirt right out of the package, but after 22 miles and 4 days in it, I can say that it really did help me keep my temperature regulated and protect me from the sun. It's wicking ability and cooling properties kept me cool under the mountain sun, and comfortably kept any sweat away once the temperature dropped. The shirt is not too thin and feels like it is built to last, and I would recommend this shirt to anyone looking to buy it. I will say the size ran a little on the large size since it doesn't shrink up like a cotton shirt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by angelaarlene from So large that it was unwearable. If you’re going to make giant shirts, the least you can do is make an XS available as well. I wish this could have worked out because my boyfriend is a letter carrier and it would be wonderful not to have to worry about heat stroke all of the time. I would have bought him a million of these shirts if they would have been a normal size. The shirt is very boxy and is twice as big as it should be. When you hold up a small it looks as if it were a size large and I am not exaggerating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frogger from Best Athletic Shirt I recently purchased 4 of these shirts in different colors and love them. I've had them now for at least two weeks and they're all I wear now. I'm an athletic guy who is outdoors every day. I live in a camp like setting in hot weather, 90+ degrees and 50+% humidity usually and these shirts work the best in this climate. They breathe really well and help me keep cool. They don't feel too light like some of the other reviews say. I would say they feel like your standard athletic shirt but feel much better and breathe more. I'm 6'2" 170lbs and the medium fits perfect. I usually wear large in other companies but I know I'm a medium in Columbia gear. I originally wanted more of Columbia's Tuk short sleeve shirts that recently they stopped carrying but I'm glad I tried these out because they are much better. I will be buying more in the near future for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SteveP031 from Very good You can definitely tell the difference between this shirt and other athletic style shirts. Both wick the sweat away, but with this one you can really feel a cooling effect. Whether you're mowing the grass, or doing a thru hike, this shirt will serve you well. Only 2 down sides; they run large. I'm 6'0" 180 lbs, and a medium fits me great. And the blue circles really show through on the white fabric. 2 minor downsides on an otherwise perfect shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shawn302 from The best t-shirt EVER!!!! These t-shirts not only look great and fit great but they keep you cool as well. When the wind blows, you get a terrific blast of coolness from the shirt. It is laid back enough to be casual, but in can still be paired with a pair of nice jeans or shorts for a nice dinner out as well. Only problem is I don't have the bank account to order all the colors and shirts I want. Definitely recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JJvento18 from A great shirt This shirt is very light, feels like you don't have one on. It's like a dry fit but is even thinner. I wear a size large and most of the time a large is a bit small, however this fits me a bit big. I tried to do the was and dry to shrink it but there's not much cotton in it. I do like it though and I wear it regularly. The color I got was a heather grey but it looks more like silver

Rated 5 out of 5 by puablo from Runs stupidly large, but a great shirt I'll be honest, I've only worn this shirt for one workout, and haven't abused it in a high heat environment. But so far it's nice and lightweight and I can already see why people rave about the material. But let's talk sizing. Something has gone horribly awry at Columbia lately. I am 6'3", a trim 180, 41" chest, and I buy L in every shirt, sight unseen. Per the size guide I'm right on the line of M and L. If I didn't know better (and read reviews), I'd have bought the L. But due to some sizing issues with other Columbia products lately, I trusted the reviews and wisely ordered the M. And the M... is literally the exact same size of every size L t-shirt I own. Because it's not an active fit, it looks and feels exactly like a L casual t-shirt. For me, it's the perfect size, but had I gone with the L it clearly would have been way too big. This thing isn't even tight on the chest - maybe if I was a 44" chest it would be more snug, but likely not uncomfortable. So do yourself a favor and size down! But having said all that, I can't wait to take this out in the desert and decide if I want to buy a bunch more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by J9801 from I love these t-shirts I love these t-shirts. They fit relatively loose which is my preference, especially around the collar and shoulders. They feel silky smooth. They are very well made and they wick moisture away. I am 5'10", 185 lbs and athletic. I play racquet sports. I wear a large and it fits great. I have tried a number of other leading brands and I have now settled on only buying Columbia t-shirts. The only obvious downside to the product is the high cost. I can afford these t-shirts and own about 8 all total. I love the different colors. They are vibrant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BIL417 from Great shirt Both my husband and son have this shirt. Wish it came in more colors as between them, they have them all and some overlap. It does run a size small. My husband is usually a medium and my son is a large but they both take a size smaller in this shirt. It is very cool in the summer and looks good too. It can snag so I line dry them. My son wears his year round unless it’s sub-zero, a common occurrence in Wisconsin winters. Overall, I would recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zeed from Great running shirt I went for a 1 hour run. @ 85 degrees, 65% humidity. First thing first, this shirt is very comfy and quite quick dried. Regarding the cooling effect, after about half an hour the fabric temprature goes a little bit lower than ambient don't expect to be chilled by it, you wont be. All together a good shirt. Didn't yet run at day time, the cooling effect might be more noticable then. I usually take a medium with columbia. The small was like a medium for other brands. Buy a smaller size since this is not a tight fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by freddyb from Do you sweat? You need this shirt I sweat a lot. Wet shirts are uncomfortable and stink. I found a great answer in the shirt. Sure I still sweat, but the material does an excellent job of wicking moisture away. Chaffing is minimized and I'm able to exercise longer and more comfortably. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Triton48 from Men's Zero Rules Short Sleeve Shirt I have 3 of these and love them. Extremely comfortable, great for fishing, no binding. Get a little moisture on these and the slightest breeze feels cool. They are also great in cooler months as an undershirt. I only have good things to say about these shirts. Plus they really look good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by astraelraen from Excellent Performing Shirt - slightly large I bought this shirt based upon reviews without trying it on. In other Columbia apparel I wear a medium - although medium can be a little large on me. I found the fit of this shirt to be pretty similar to other Columbia's mediums - that being, a little larger than medium. This shirt isn't their "Active" fit, so don't expect a form fitting shirt. The medium is a little larger than I would like, however, for summer outdoor hot/sweaty shirts, I think it will work. However, I probably will not wear it as a fashion shirt. That said, I'm not sure a small would fit any better. The fabric tends to hang in odd places on my body. Overall, I think the shirt is an excellent value at a sale price. I'm not sure I would be willing to buy it at full retail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by leejia from As if it's 5-10F cooler... Based on the name of the fabric, I'd (skeptically) hoped for a wonder-material that somehow feels cold even in the heat. For me, that was not the case, but I was pleasantly surprised. I put this to the test by playing tennis on a sunny, 90F day with 65% humidity and hardly any breeze. Of course it was hot outside and I was sweating profusely. My uncovered arms and legs felt hot. Under my shorts, socks and tennis cap, I felt hot. However, my upper body was reasonably comfortable...not cool, but not hot either. It was like my upper body was playing tennis on a day that was 5-7 F cooler. The cooling effect works better if there's a good breeze...then maybe feels like 10 F cooler than ambient. One other unexpected benefit. After tennis, my shirt is usually soaked with sweat so I take it off and change into a dry t-shirt for the drive home. I often have to wrestle and contort my body to remove a soaked shirt since it sticks to my skin. However, even when wet, this shirt lifts off of skin easily and can be removed with minimal effort. For the above reasons, I bought a second shirt. Up to this point, I've been buying synthetic tennis t-shirts from Adidas, Nike and Under Armour. Those are still nice products, but if I know it's going to be really hot outside, I'll reach for my Omni-Freeze Zero shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wahootiger from So far, so good After several weeks of using this shirt on my rowing machine outdoors in Arizona in the summer, I have to say that it is all it's cracked up to be. The material is comfortable. The shirt sizing is accurate. It has come through 20+ washes just fine. And yes, it is a lot cooler than a sweaty cotton t-shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GoldCountryWalker from My husband's go-to everyday shirt This is a perfect all-summer-long, easy-to-wear, easy-to-launder shirt for my husband. He wears it to work out or for a run to the hardware store, for home office work or to relax on the patio. It wicks to keep him cool, and it's comfy without an undershirt. He has several of this shirt. The only issue is that it is easily snagged, so it's not for wearing under a day pack for our short-to-mid-length hikes.
