Uses Winter

OutDry™ Extreme is our first ever waterproof and breathable fabric technology constructed with a waterproof layer on the outside and soft, wicking fabric inside. Traditional raingear uses interior waterproof membranes which don't allow for air flow, and water-repellent coating that degrades over time. With OutDry™ Extreme, the rugged exterior is an incredibly water-tight membrane with millions of microscopic perforations that let water vapor escape through a wicking membrane directly fused to the shell.

This chamois-lined, OutDry Extreme glove is fully waterproof, fully breathable, and features a touchscreen compatible fingertip. The thumb and outer index finger are reinforced for durability and the external seam taping gives this Titanium glove its bulletproof look.

OutDry Ex™ Men's Glove is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good All Around Glove I purchased this product to replace a pair of Columbia OutDry gloves that are about 5-6 years old. I got great service out of those gloves and still wear them from time to time. And they're still waterproof! Some reviewers mentioned these Titanium gloves running on the small side. My old gloves were a Small so I decided to purchase this glove in a Medium. For me, they seemed true to size as they definitely fit slightly more loose than my old pair. The gloves are definitely OutDry waterproof, as I have worn them in two Nor'Easters and other winter storms which included both rain and snow. My hands remained dry as a bone. The touch screen functionality is great while using my phone. Now the reason for the four star rating: I do wish the gloves were a bit warmer, at 25 degrees or below I find myself putting my hands in my pockets even with the gloves on. Perhaps an Omni-Heat liner/fill would have helped a bit here. Bottom line, unless you're doing arctic exploring or are spending prolonged amounts of time outside in weather well below freezing these are great every-day gloves. I fully expect to get the same life out of these as my old pair; they are very well made. Love Columbia, their products have never let me down!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't mistake this as a winter glove Used this glove hiking in the back woods of northern Maine. Absolutely waterproof, never wetted out even when I tried to do so by playing in the snow. Do not expect it to keep your hand warm, the inside lining is just polyester, not fleece and it's not insulated. Because of this, its use is limited to snow and above 30 degrees or rainy days in fall or spring. It's very good for what it is, just don't expect to use it as a winter glove. The fit is also very strange. I listened to other reviews and ordered a size up, which was the right call. The thumbs fit noticeably smaller than the rest of the glove, and I can only fit a really thin liner under these XL's (I normally wear a large).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect glove!! I purchased these gloves during the cold snap (0 degrees F) in Minnesota for the Superbowl outdoor activities. They are ridiculously warm and light, which I wasn't expecting. They do run small, which works out great for me because I have short fingers. If this, however, is not you, you should size up for sure! These will be my go to glove for all of my winter outdoor activities.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Serves Very Little Purpose I really wanted to like these. I love the look of them and got them a couple weeks ago because they match the black OUTDRY™ EX DIAMOND jacket I bought as well. I normally wear large gloves, but had to exchange them for XL; those fit really well. A tiny bit of bite when you make a fist, but totally acceptable and not a nuisance. I live in Minnesota and bought these to keep my hands warm and dry. I even clicked the boxes "warm," and "dry" on the little tool that helps you shop the Columbia site given your preferences. These things are anything but warm. They don't even stay warm walking from the parking lot to the door of my work, and forget it if you have to touch anything (like a cold steering wheel or a snow scraper/brush or the handles of my snowblower). I wish I went for the Inferno Range glove, but now I stunk these ones up and feel bad exchanging them. Don't make my mistake.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected These gloves are not what I expected. The fit is smaller than expected. These gloves are short, from finger tip to wrist. Movement is restricted due to size and they are not for cold temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OutDry men’s Gloves comfortable and dry Best glove I’ve found for rain, looks great, comfortable and not bulky as most are. Doesn’t sweat either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof and Warm! These gloves are nice and waterproof, not water-resistant like most gloves. On these gloves I anticipate the waterproofing will last many years as opposed to only 1 or 2 seasons like my “normal” gloves. I love these and would highly recommend them if you are regularly below 30-40’.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really wanted to like these gloves! I have been looking for a pair of waterproof breathable gloves that don't get waterlogged in the process of keeping your hands dry, which is why I turned to the Outdry technology (It really is amazing), however, the execution on these gloves was disappointing due to the stiffness of the material and very odd sizing. I typically wear a size medium in men's gloves, however, the medium and large gloves were very tight to the point of pain in the knuckles and fingers when making a fist with my hand or even just bending it enough to grasp a hiking pole. I had to go up to the size extra large to relieve some of the knuckle pain, but then the fingers were too long and the material in the palm was too loose and bunched up when gripping an object. I submit that the best way to solve the fit problems of these gloves is to make them out of the same material as the amazing outdry ex stretch shell jacket so that they have some give when flexing or manipulating your hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I'm a Michigander. As such, a good pair of gloves is important to me. I've tried many pairs of gloves, and have noticed a tradeoff between warmth and dexterity. Amazingly enough, these manage to give you the best of both worlds. They are borderline uncomfortably warm in anything above freezing, and very nimble. Also important to me is waterproofing, being from the land of eternal freezing rain. These get that down pat. All in all, a very good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tiny thumbs! The rest of the glove fit alright, with just a little extra length in the pinky, but the thumbs were ridiculously small and some weird tapered cone shape rather than anatomical. I had to force my thumb in, and could tell that the compression would eliminate any warmth from the glove in that area. It was so tight that I could not easily bend my thumbs, making simple tasks difficult. My wife wears a small, or extra small gloves and when she tried on these size large glvoes the fingers were all too long, but the thumb was still too tight for her comfort. Aside from this they appear to be well made, but I'll be returning them...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These gloves are not snow worthy All these other reviews admit they never field tested these gloves. Well, I have and they FAILED. They were soaked completely through in one hour of hiking through a snow storm in Peru. They seriously run TWO sizes small. The snotter is neither soft or absorbent enough. They are not very insulated. The inside material feels nice. Sorry, but if you really do get down in inclimate weather (think Oregon) trust nothing but Gore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Review Unknown I bought these gloves because they were highly reccomanded by Backpacker magazine. They ordered online directly without having seen them before. I didn't know they were made of a "plastic" material. It feels like you are wearing gloves to do the dishes.... Since they didn't fit at all (feels 2 sizes too small), I didn't get a chance to try them out. They were out of XL so I had to order a different model and return these ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Out Dry glove Bought these for rainy day cycling. They do run small, I bought a size large and they are snug without a liner. This glove is basically a shell and at less than 40 f you will want a liner. I took them out on the first rainy day but the rain stopped before a thorough test could be made. I do believe this product will perform well and keep my hands dry in the rain. I gave the size large to my wife and will order some XL's. If you have big hands beware....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Spring NW Ski Glove This light weight glove should work very well in our typical early or late NW skiing conditions. There is nothing worse than soaked gloves midway through the day. These are truly waterproof and will keep my hands warm and dry. Just to test them our, I first put them on and put my hands in a sink full of cold water. My hands stayed dry and warm and the water shook off easily when I removed them. The fabric did not wet on the outside so they remained breathable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not useful good idea but needs insulation. I dont mind my hands getting wet when it warm. So I need a dry glove when its cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outdry mens glove Glove appears to be as advertised. Wish Columbia would make all their gloves a bit larger. With both these and a pair of Turbodown mittens I've purchased in XL they are still almost too tight. Maybe they will stretch a bit after wearing. They are waterproof and the built in curve is good, just not a large as I need for a decent fit.
