OutDry Ex™ Stretch Hooded Shel is rated out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quinnocent from A functional and attractive rain garment I got this on sale, in the Deep Rust color, size Small. This coat is definitely on the expensive side, but it's still cheaper than rain shells of equivalent quality. So I'd say the overall value is good. It's not heavily-insulated, but that's sometimes beneficial or even a requirement. If you're an outdoorswoman in an area with temperate but rainy winters, or if it rains heavily in the summer where you are, having a thin rain shell can be extremely beneficial. In this way, if it's raining but warm out, you can get rain protection without overheating. This is especially important if you're hiking, as the activity will make you feel a lot warmer and sweat a lot more. I can still layer it with fitted thermal garments as needed when it's cold, resulting in a more snug but not restrictive fit. The Outdry Ex delivers. Doesn't wet out. Breathes OK'ish. Not the lightest garment, though. If your tastes are UL, this isn't terribly heavy by virtue of its single-layered, low insulation construction, but it's not really light either. Has all the rain features I want. The seams are taped. The neck is high. The hood is well-fitted, and it has a drawstring closure that lets you tighten it around the face. So it's enough upper body protection for heavy downpours. Pockets are merely OK. Side zipper pockets give you some space for extras. If you don't heavily use garment pockets, which is me, they're fine. This is meant to be a fitted garment, so you don't have pockets upon pockets, like more bulky jackets might have. Fit is great. I'm 5'8" with a lighter, athletic build. Less busty, milder curves, more slender. It feels long enough for me, though I have long legs and a short torso. Ymmv if your body type is different. Appearance is really great for a rain shell. I love the look of this, and I've gotten compliments from other people. If you want your outdoor gear to be stylish and flattering, yet without compromising at all on function, that fits the bill. The Deep Rust color also looks very nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Triceytrice from I love it!! This is everything I wanted to wear in the rain. Keeps me dry its very lightweight for the summer and I don't need a umbrella due to the the hood. I will be purchasing one for my daughter also. I highly recommend this jacket. I love the Titanium line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vysf from my first waterproof hooded shell I need to walk dogs every night whether is raining or not. I used to wear other jacket but not cover that well and mostly is thicker jacket. This jacket is not too thick and able to cover well and able to wear all season (winter time to add a fleece jacket in). I get 1 size up per other reviewer recommends to put a jacket in if needed. It will be a little lose without additional jacket (because 1 size up) but not too bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marjemae from Size depends on use I wanted a waterproof shell over my down jacket which is not. This is a beautiful and effective over jacket but it is made to fit with only a thin sweater, it seems, so although I am a medium , I ended up with an xl to do the trick. A smaller size would be snug and attractive without a coat underneath. The fit is shapely .

Rated 3 out of 5 by Patagonia99 from Too small I bought this jacket because I need something waterproof and strech. I fit perfectly in other XL Columbia jackets that I have but this one runs too small. I do not get it. Why the inconsistency with the sizes?. I have to order online because I have a hard time finding my size in stores... so a bit more consistency and/or plus sizes for the cute jackets will help. The jacket looks awesome and good quality, but I have not had a chance to try it since I had to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Loralea from Oregon approved A stylish rain-proof shell; lightweight, but you can easily put a fleece underneath for extra warmth. Perfect for Oregon when the rains attack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Triathleats from Best Decision Ever I was on the fence about buying this jacket all day, but when I finally came to, it was the best purchase decision ever. Love the fit, the fabric, the comfort, and the look. Ps, This was my first time purchasing a women's jacket for myself as a male. Who says certain colours of clothing are only for women. Lol. Personally, I feel woman always get all the cool colour options in terms of clothing. Men like colours too ;D (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shaina from Best jacket I own! I LOVE THIS JACKET! It's so comfortable because it's lined with a softer material and won't stick to your skin. The extra stretch in this jacket is very flattering and also adds to the comfort level. When this came in the mail I went straight to the Oregon Coast to test the waterproof level and was VERY impressed. Water beaded up and dripped right off.
