I got this for my 7 year old when he play baseball in the cooler weather and it works and fits great. And this gaiter takes a beating because he 7. It is S/M and fits great and he loves it because it look cool. Just another quality product that Columbia continues to make.

I find it a little uncomfortable wearing it high up and sunglasses were fogging up if I pulled it over my nose. It does work well protecting my neck from the sun which is the main reason I bought it so overall a good purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Stevebo from Too wide for my purposes I already had a Columbia gaiter that is 17.5" long and very stretchy. This gaiter is about 4 to 5" shorter and wider. I thought it would make a better connection with my neck and shoulder but I prefer the old one. This one is long enough to pull up to cover my ears but after I move around it falls down to my neck. The old one is long enough to pull over the back half of the top of my head to hold it in place. I like the new deflective material but it doesn't have the same stretch to retain position on my head. I'm 6'1" and 165 lbs.

Took a 2 hour walk on a very sunny farm and no sunburn! I’m keeping this in my backpack for all my adventures!

While watching my son’s baseball game, I wore them in sunny day. The UV index was little high. Came home and realized that my neck was not sunburn. I also ordered the matching color long sleeve shirt. They are awesome. Gotta love Columbia PFG stuffs.
