Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly a Titan I cant say enough about this amazing Columbia jacket. Its VERY warm, and extremely lightweight. This jacket is very functional as well as stylish. So weather you are hitting the slopes to ski or meeting friends after work for a get together you will look well put together. The quality of the jacket is very high. The fit is true to size. I go the gravel , peppercorn color its like an army green with a pop of a mustard color on the back. As a bonus it is also packable which is great when traveling!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for casual or outdoors If you're used to Asian sizes (like me), this one will run a little large. If you're in between sizes, choose the smaller one. I'm 5'7" with slightly broad shoulders but the small size fit just fine with extra room for layering. Tested under Chicago cold and wind and it was fluffy as it can be. Also used during high-altitude trekking (2000m and up) with a light fleece underlayer. It had kept me comfortable even in low 30s. It does say packable, but I couldn't fit it in the inside pocket. Still it is very light and takes minimal footprint in your backpack (if you're an ultralight packer). Get the black one so you can mix and match it with any of your casual outfits as opposed to the bright colored ones which will make your wardrobe options limited. I'm hoping this will last me for years to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Filling contains black feathers I recently (Apr '18) purchased this jacket in "flame" (orange) color. The jacket is beautiful and well made. However, the filling used contains some black feathers that can be seen through making the jacket appear to be dirty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm I bought this to wear as an insulation piece (under a shell) since it was described as "the ideal winter layering piece". It's definitely warm and light but it's pretty square and thick for an inner jacket layer. A bit of tapering would be better but I didn't find a lot of room around the mid section that another reviewer found. (I'm 6'2" and 195lbs with just a bit of a gut.) It looks better on its own because it really fills up my shell to the point of looking stuffed. I have a Whirlibird Interchange jacket as well and this is a thicker and more insulated inner layer. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket and great quality! I love this jacket. The outer shell seems durable and the overall performance of the coat is great. It blocks any wind and is very warm. The new seaming technology is fantastic and doesn't leak with heavy wind like historical sewn seems. The fit is a little large and cut to go over outwear. It's definitely not what I would call an athletic cut if that's what you are looking for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware of the yellow and gray color The yellow and gray appearing one is not as dark as pictured it is bright yellow and the gray is more of a gray dark green color. It fits a little snug. I’m six feet 250 lb. If the black one was in my size I would’ve gotten that one instead. The sleeves have this thing that conforms to your wrist I suppose to keep air out but there’s no way to tighten it. The pockets are great place to keep your hands because they have a warm liner on the inside. I can’t get over the color though it’s so horrendous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for the trail I purchased this jacket to accompany me on long hikes up some windy mountains. The jacket performs as described great at keeping me warm even in high altitudes. It fits great and is good for hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable over wide temp range I have a stocky frame at 200 pounds but am relatively short at 5' 8" and the XL fit very well. I'm not a weight lifter. In a typical dress shirt I'm 17.5 x 32 if that helps give a reference. With outer jackets I struggle with jackets and arms being too long but this was really just right. There's definitely more sleeve length than I need but the design makes it not a problem at all. I've worn it here in Maine from 20 - 50 degrees over a tee shirt and have been very comfortable across the range. I'm sure the jacket would perform well down lower in temp. Very light great looking jacket that's a pleasure to wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Good Fit For Me I'm a Columbia superfan, but this jacket, as well as all current Columbia jackets, has me questioning the sizing in the entire Columbia coat lineup. I'm 6' and 185 with a somewhat athletic build. I usually wear size M for jackets from Columbia, and have for 10 years. I visited the Chicago Columbia store to find that all the size M coats were way too tight in the armpits, and the size L are crazy gigantic. So, I took a risk during a big sale and I ordered this jacket in a Medium.....mistake. Again, WAY too tight in the armpits. Called and ordered a size Large, hoping that it wasn't gigantic....it was. Very frustrated with Columbia's current sizing and cuts. I really wanted to love this jacket, but the sizing issues have me looking at other brands at this point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Truly Interchange Compatible I bought to go in an interchange jacket. Loops on arms and back are there but no reversible zipper and not same size zipper so cannot just swap out zipper pull. Good down jacket and have used it once and did keep me warm BUT NOT INTERCHANGE COMPATIBLE. Customer service was useless!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the jacket to own I'm completely delighted with this jacket. Extremely warm yet light. It's a very versatile jacket - suitable for a wide temperature range and can be worn for many differing activities. I also got it at a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Down Jacket I purchased this product because I needed a warm, functional, and stylish down jacket for hiking and to wear in a professional work setting that has an inadequate heating system in a section of a building. It has performed as the product description stated. The fit was perfect and I appreciate the fact that it was manufactured well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice! it was an excellent choice, but it took me a little longer to decide since I couldn't determine if the jacket was a heavy one or it was ideal for a certain range of temperature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Puffy coats are our thing We have numerous puffy coats and continue to try new ones as the older ones move to work clothes. This one is also dense enough to keep you warm in cold weather but allows you to move freely. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket This is the perfect jacket for winter or cold weather walks and hiking. Very windproof and quite warm as well as very stylish. I love Columbia products. High quality gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Warm I'm from Western NY and well versed with the cold. What surprised me was how light the jacket is and very warm. I do think it runs a little large, at 5, 11 and 220 lbs I have plenty of room in the large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm with tech I love the feel of this material. The tech of the wave keeps the cold and any weather away, making this coat warmer than other normal down coats. It has the loops to work as an inner layer of an Interchange shell. The jacket fits me very well. Quality down jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made and light but black feathers visible from inside in light models 5'11" 75 kg and medium fits well. Got a yellow color and dark colored feathers are visible here and there from inside. First I thought its a dark spot on jacket but then upon closely looking it was a feather. So this is kind of a negative in light colored models. Dark colored ones will not have this problem. One of the black feather and bigger one is right above columbia logo on chest so kinda more noticeable. But overall good fit and nice well made jacket for travelling light in winters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointed Great quality and stylish jacket. The only reason that I'm disappointed is because the body of the jacket was tapered so that it showed my stomach to much in a size M. I'm 5'10" 184 with a small gut and I just couldn't pull off the look. The arms were perfect and the jacket felt good. I would have liked a little bit more openness in the body of the jacket and it would have been perfect for me. If you don't have a gut or you don't mind then you'll love this jacket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well Made, Weird Sizing Seems to be a very well made and well insulated jacket. But I had to return it due to fitting poorly. I'm 6'3, 205 pounds and ordered a large. The length of sleeves, and at torso length were both great. The fit around the shoulders and upper back was great. However, around the waist and stomach it was way to big. The gap between the jacket and my waist allowed cold air came up through the bottom. Tightening down the drawstring at the waist enlarged the already large gap between the coat and my stomach, so I had to return. Overall seemed very well made, but at 205 pounds I was not big enough to fill out a large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm, great for skiing Very impressed and pleased with this jacket. I took this jacket on a recent ski trip to Colorado where temps ranged from 5* on cold days to 30* on warm days. Paired it with just a long sleeve base layer on warm days and was never cold. Added a Columbia fleece vest as a mid layer on cold days. The jacket fit great too. I'm 6' and 170 lbs and got a medium. Fits great over a tee shirt but also has enough room if you need to add some layers. There's also plenty of storage. 2 large outer pockets plus two inner liner pockets plus a 5th pocket on the inside that you can zip up - perfect size for carrying your phone. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable... especially when it's cold This is a well-built jacket and is a great pick for someone in cold climates, the thermal reflective liner really warms you up. It's a comfortable fit, I went by Columbia's sizing recommendations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and comfy Jacket is very warm and comfy, weighs nothing but runs a little short around the arm pits (xl is too big for me...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality as expected I own several Columbia products and the Titan Ridge did not disappoint. Performs as expected, looks and fits great and is especially versatile in the Midwest winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hi-Tech winter jacket for the 21st century without the bulk I used to own a old Columbia jacket that at the show liner with removable inner liner. I used to love that jacket until I started wearing this one this winter. What a difference. Lightweight and very comfortable to wear without much weight or bulk to hamper you in you doing things. Very high-quality. Keeps you warm on cold days. I love the color and the style. My only small complaint is, I wish the inside zipper pocket was higer.... near the chest .
Date published: 2018-03-06
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight winter jacket! i’ve have other turbodown products but this is by far the best constructed and warmest. I also appreciate the thought to using a softer fabric for the pockets and where the zipper cinches at the top. I normally wear XL but dropped down to L which can still support layers with comfort and move ability on the coldest days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found a warm/worthy jacket... I was looking for a jacket which is worth of money and warm enough in the crazy cold of Chicago. I've done lots of research comparing different brands and prices (TNF thermoball, Patagonia nano puff, L.L Bean etc.). Finally settled with 'Columbia Titan Ridge 800 goose down with Omni heat technology. Pro: - Warm - Big pockets for gloves - Omni heat technology - Heat seal wave design for better wind protection Cons: - Runs very large for size compare to other brands. - Inside material looks really shiny - Looks quite puffy since it runs large - Occasionally feathers are coming out

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great coat Great coat for a Winnipeg winter I like mine only problem I had was the sleeves were just a bit too long for my short arms (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket This jacket is very light but don't let that fool you! Extremely warm! Got it for a sale price even better!
Date published: 2018-03-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Bought this jacket so I could use it to do a lot of skeet shooting this winter. It is superb for that and it can deal with very cold and windy weather. Thermal barrier is a major plus and it works great with my Columbia interchange jacket. Only jacket I use for winter weather.
Date published: 2018-02-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Appearance There is printed symbol on the left side sleeve. It makes it look cheap. Without the symbol, it looks neat and better. The Columbia name should be sewed as well as the symbol if really needed. It is not compatible to any of my other Columbia jackets.
Date published: 2018-02-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket that rivals the Competition Awesome jacket that is warm in a wide spectrum of temperatures. Columbia’s Omni-Heat and down filling make this packable jacket a go to for adventure enthusiasts and casual wear alike. This jacket outperforms other brands comparable products at a fraction of the cost. Only wish was a better fitting medium. The medium runs big so I settled for a small which is a bit tight but it is functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantabulous!! I received this item as a gift and I was skeptical at first by how light in weight the material is but I ended up being amazed at how warm it is for any outdoor activities and I mean ANY! I would recommend this coat to anyone that wants a good lightweight jacket! Don’t settle for less! VERY IMPRESSED!!
