Rated 4 out of 5 by from not the best fit I love the way this jacket looks and was excited to get it in the mail. I ordered a large because I am between a medium and large in the sizing guide (5'4" and ~145 lbs) and was worried a medium would be too small. Unfortunately I was swimming in a large and wasted money sending it back. I decided to reorder it in a medium, and it fits much better. I was still somewhat disappointed though because it was quite tight across the shoulders when I first tried it on. After washing it and wearing it a few times it seems to have stretched out and loosened up a bit, which is nice, and I am not too uncomfortable in it. I wouldn't recommend this jacket for athletic activity, especially anything that requires free and easy arm movement. It works well for just walking the dog on a fall or mild winter day, though, or for running errands. The only other thing that bothers me a little are the pockets. I love that the pockets are huge, but the openings are relatively small and set a little far back so I frequently miss the opening of the pocket when I go to slide my hand in. I like to keep my hands in my pockets so this has been a bit frustrating and awkward, as my arms stick out from my side a little like chicken wings when my hands are in my pockets. Also, the strain of this angle makes me worry that I'm stretching out the pocket openings (which might not be completely bad considering how narrow they are). All in all, I liked the jacket enough to keep it and I think it will become more comfortable as I wear it more. It definitely looks nice and I'm looking forward to breaking it in!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expected more for the price. This item is just okay. For the price I was expecting more. It is not lined. While it fits well in the shoulders and arms the body of it is way too big. It feels somewhat disproportionate. The materials are nice. I got the nocturnal which is slightly lighter than pictured. I am keeping it as a layering piece but I was expecting it to be a jacket to wear to work. Even though it's labeled as such this is not a jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Purchased this jacket on a whim in chalk as I liked the colors and pattern. Overall, it's very stylish and warm without being overly bulky or too thick. The high collar is nice as well. I purchased the medium to wear over layers for walking and to the barn. I am 5'7" and 135lbs for referance. My one complaint is that I wish the buttons were closer together or that there was also a zipper. I only say this as when I wear this as an outlayer on particularly windy or cold days, the chill gets in as there is so much space between buttons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fall/spring jacket I live in a pretty cold climate and this is great for spring and fall or even chilly summer evenings camping! I love that this has a very feminine cut but a classic casual pattern. The pockets seem to be positioned a little far back in my opinion but otherwise a very comfortable jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Jacket I live in Florida didn’t think I would need a coat nor jacket this year. If you follow the weather you know we had some cold weather and my alpine Columbia jacket was perfect! My Columbia Alpine jacket fit perfectly, kept me warm and I actually placed a second order

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Large in shoulders and stiff throughout I really like the look of this jacket, but it is stiff and a little big in the shoulders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket This jacket is a perfect lightweight comfortable jacket. Fits great and love that it has snaps instead of a zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light-Weight Jacket I bought this jacket in large first after reading reviews that it runs small. I returned it for the medium. It does fit a tiny bit snug in the arms when I move my arms up and down, but I still prefer it to the larger size. If you like a fitted look I would order your normal size. If you like a relaxed look order a size up. As other reviewers said, it's just like 2x as thick as a flannel, which is exactly what I was looking for. I still consider it a "jacket" though because it's a stiff/sturdy feeling material that I wouldn't wear without a shirt underneath. The best part about this jacket? The pockets are HUGEEEEEE. I could easily fit gloves, a beanie, and a headlamp in the pockets. This will be my car camping go-to. (But it's definitely cute enough to wear out on the town.) I went and bought the vest in a different color because I like it so much. (Fyi, the collar is meant to stand up. But I've been able to fold it down and it stays fairly well and doesn't look (too) abnormal.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm & fuzzy I am 5'3 120 lbs and typically wear a small or extra small so I ordered an extra small and surprisingly it still fits a little on the large side. Other than that I love it. It's warm, fuzzy & stylish!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality construction After one washing the collar was coming apart. Much as I loved this shirt jacket, there was no way I could repair the frayed material. Lovely materials but poor quality construction. Essentially I paid $12 shipping to me and back for a faulty product. For the price, the quality should be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cute but still comfy Love the chalk plaid pattern. Very comfy and warm for fall jacket or layering in winter. Size runs smaller I am a large in this but a medium in the Benton springs fleeces. Because it's snap front and not a zipper I would recommend ordering a size up because of its to snug I think the snaps would pop open on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So outdoorsy! I love this flannel/jacket so much, I bought two! They are very PNW outdoors-y looking as well as functional and warm. It runs a tiny bit big and long in the arms but that is ok, I wanted to have the option to layer. I get a ton of compliments and the jacket is of great quality. They are easy to wash as well. This jacket will get better with age and be a must on my camping list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So comfortable! Great buy, true to size. Perfect jacket to thrown on over a long sleeve here in New England, stylish pattern!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thin & Flimsy I purchased this "jacket" in chalk because I loved the design. the weight is really more like a flannel shirt and def not worth $75 or even the $50 I paid for it during a sale. I will say that I sometime have trouble sleeves being too short, but these fit well. It hit at the top of my hips Overall cute, but not worth it.
