Rated 5 out of 5 by miichan from Awesome jacket! I walk a lot, and the weather is changing from warm to cool rapidly, but right now its at an awkward stage where the weather is unpredictable. I'm a 4'10 woman, and it fits a little big on purpose but its super confortable and warm! It comes down to my knees so it keeps them warm too, especially in the rain, with the nice hood and neck coverage. I also love the elasticized cuffs because I have small hands and wrists and they don't get swallowed up, nor does cold air flow up into my sleeves. 10/10 light but warm jacket for all weather!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SoKath from Perfect slicker overcoat option for the curvy person This coat was a wonderful find! I'm 5' 5" and have a curvy/athletic build (swimmer with hips, coats are hard to find with my height to shoulder and hip ratio). I ordered a large to accommodate my shoulders and was very pleased. This coat is breathable, waterproof, and the waist synchs actually look good. My only complaint is that the wrist cuffs are HUGE and the arms are very long. I have a 5" wrist and I could easily lose 1.5 - 2" of elastic on these cuffs. Solution: The lining of this coat is cute. I double rolled the cuffs and it just looks like an intentional styling choice in the red wine color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ERSA from Aracadia Jacket I love this jacket...both for the comfort and practicality. It fits true to size, is very well constructed and the color is very flattering. I tried it on for my husband's opinion and he felt it was an excellant choice. Can't ask for better than that!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JDolla from i loved it but... i really love it but the only thing is that the arms are a little baggy and it doesn’t fit very well around the butt & waist area. but the jacket itself is super cute and comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by D101 from Really weird fit: huge wrists, too small around the hips. Love the yellow color and thought this was really cute when I saw it (a bit more fashionable than a lot of the Columbia stuff). Was very disappointed when it arrived. I am a perfect example of an average-sized American woman. I'm almost 5'4" talk and wear a size 12-14. And yet, 90% of Columbia clothing doesn't fit me. Why? Excellent question. If the majority of people are a certain size, I don't know why you would design clothing for women who are 2-3 standard deviations above the norm. Anyway, I knew not to get my hopes up about this fitting. I ordered the large and it was too small around the hips. The elastic wrists, which I expected to alleviate the problem of way too long arms, we're so huge that the sleeves hung down past my hands. Seriously? Do you know how big a woman has to get before her wrists get super thick? Linebacker sized. I don't think they use fit models at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gardener22 from Great rain jacket If you’re looking for a jacket to wear in the rain, this is a great choice. I was disappointed that the fabric looks like plastic, I wanted more of an all purpose coat. The cut and and style is cute. Wish there were more pockets and a 2 way zipper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heather15 from Happy with Jacket I'm satisfied with this jacket. It's been effective with water proofing and has a good look to it. It's lightweight and comfortable. I do wish there were an extra pocket, as there are only 2. I also wish the hood had stoppers on them to keep the chord in place when you try to bring the hood in closer. I purchased the M in green. I'm about 5'6 and 160 lbs. I have a small upper body and waist but a large bottom and wide hips (athletic build). It just about has enough wiggle room for me in the hip area. I like that it cinches at the waist but I wish there were a tad more wiggle room in the hip area to prevent it from slightly riding up. Maybe a 2 way zipper would be a good solution. The hood is nice and roomy. I bought a similar coat from Marmot several years ago for a slightly cheaper price and the quality of the Marmot was a little above this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SarahD1333 from Favorite rain jacket I'm 5'4", 132 lbs and I got a size Small in this jacket - my normal jacket size. It fits perfectly - just as a rain jacket should, but cuter b/c of the waist cincher. I'm a big fan of highly functional jackets that are somehow super flattering on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by athleisurelady from Strange Proportions I loved the style of this jacket so I ordered it in a medium, my normal size. For reference, I'm 5'8" and about 145 lbs. The sleeves were nice and long which was awesome because my arms are long! The jacket was super narrow in the hips though--like barely could zipper it, tight on my butt narrow. I had to return it and did not order the large because I think it would have been huge up top and in the sleeves--even for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TJTat from small through hips and butt I was so bummed I had to return this jacket as the quality seemed really, really good. I am pear shaped and this jacket is cut for someone with less hips and butt than I have. If I would have gone up a size to accommodate my backside, the top of the jacket would have been too big.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Morgy from Add ons This jacket is comfortable and light weight but I would like a dual zipper so one can undo from the bottom as well as the top. Also an inside pocket while travelling is always a great idea - one big enough for a passport, cash and/or phone. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by QtrInchSeam from Cozy I wanted a sweatshirt with no hood and full-zip. Nothing like that exists so I chose the fleece jackets from Columbia. Love them. They've been perfect this spring in the cold, rainy PNW.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Angela931 from Overall Good Overall fit is good. Wore this 2 days of constant rain. Stayed dry and comfortable. Ordered a size up to accommodate wearing bulky sweatshirt under. Only negative is would be nice if sleeves had velcro to tighten them. Otherwise, I'd recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by lorak from good jacket but a little snug Great jacket but I would order a size up. I am usually an XS but the XS is a little snug. The S would have fit better. Functionality is great though and what I was looking for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BEANTOWNpittsburger from keeps me dry Bought two of these for two different locations. Specifically, for walking the dogs and the other, for getting my daily walks in no matter the weather. I like the colors I selected...sea salt and the red. Love the hood and especially the longer length in the back. I bought the MED as I like plenty of roominess with the option to wear warm layers underneath in case its cold. Keep in mind, this is a light weight rain jacket. Perfect for keeping you dry in the rain. I would recommend this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MirB from Very hard crinkley plastic feel This was pretty uncomfortable and not flattering at all. Like wearing a hard plastic bag, no venting either - returning. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by jgm11 from Looks good and works This is a very lightweight rain jacket that looks surprisingly stylish. Some other commenters noted it sounds pretty crinkly when you move. I notice that a little bit, but it's not bad at probably happens with any thin raincoat with water repellant coating. I'm 5'4", 125lbs and the small fit great--the backside covers my behind but doesn't fall awkwardly low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sea6 from Perfect casual raincoat for Seattle i NEVER write reviews even when i hate a product, so hopefully that can be a testament to how wonderful this jacket is. Dress it down, dress it up. I have Patagonia, North Face and this is my favorite because of the flexibility but waterproofness of the fabric. My other shells have a thick waxy fabric and this is the opposite...i feel like i could sleep i this...COMFORTABLE I walk a mile in this to work in Seattle

Rated 1 out of 5 by Roxrobpat from The plastic bag jacket I'm using that title because that's exactly how it felt when I put it on. It even comes with the noise when you move. I usually love my jackets from here, but, obviously not this one. The color was even off. I got an xs, but even that was to big. The sleeves covered my hands, could've used them as gloves!. A very cheaply made jacket for the price. Waited anxiously for it, and now it will be returned. VERY DISAPPOINTED....

Rated 5 out of 5 by KFRich from Cute and Functional This rain jacket is great! I wore it every single day on vacation to Alaska, and it kept me almost completely dry. The only exception was a four-hour-long kayaking trip in the pouring rain during which my forearms got wet from water dripping down into the sleeves. For that reason, I wish the sleeves were velcro, but that's my only criticism. It looks stylish, is completely waterproof, and actually breathes. I ordered the Pulse color, which is a nice purplish gray. For reference, I am 5'7, 160 lbs, and ordered a medium, which I could still fit a fleece pullover under. This jacket is a great choice if you want something a little more stylish than your standard shell!

Rated 3 out of 5 by KBrew from Would have kept if 2-way zipper Typically sz 8 petite so I was expecting the waist to be too low, but thought the style would be more forgiving in the hips. So sad it didn't work for me (30" waist 40" hips) in either S or M. If tweaks included either more fabric in the hips or 2-way zipper I would have kept the S. Interior zip pockets and Velcro back hood would be my other wish list items. Pros: lightweight, easy to pack, Cypress = cute army green, cinchable waist, dolphin drop hem, good hem length, and elastic sleeves that look cute pushed up. Cons: finding long torso with low waist-hip ratio to be standard Columbia fit, fabric a bit noisy. Columbia, please consider other body types in your designs. I would have paid more!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Betty34 from Almost Perfect Great jacket for use as a shell. If it's cold you'll need layers underneath. I wore a fleece under it and it still fit. I wore it while on vacation in Ireland and it held up well and can be "scrunched" up to fit in a backpack. My only two complaints are that it needs more pockets and the hood drawstrings can't be cinched; the drawstrings need to be tied together to secure the hood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Deb8957 from Color not as pictured! I'm not sure about the other color options but when I excitedly ordered the "Ruby red" I was expecting it to be bright red. Instead I received a HOT PINK jacket on the mail. The quality is great and these jackets would be wonderful but be cautious of the colors. Disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ARM92 from AMAZING if used correctly LOVE this jacket. I think the below review was confused by the functionality of this jacket. This is not your traditional Columbia RAIN jacket. and that is why i love it. Columbia continues to come out with NEW and fresh product so i can broaden my own closet with more pieces from them because I love their brand, instead of getting my regular black windbreaker staple each season. I love throwing this jacket on for running errands, walking the dog, being casual, or even for a windy day walk to work. I think this jacket fits great and I think the cinches are very flattering. I also love that the zip does not have velcro over it to avoid clinging onto scarf, shirt, hair, etc. Some people might shy away from this due to the thin fabric used on it, but this works great for me as it makes for a sleek look, less bulk, and is more flattering on my figure. I am a shorter gal and I love how the back is a little bit longer of a dolphin hem than the front. Great versatile piece to add to my winter/spring seattle wardrobe! You can never have too many black jackets :) i would say it runs a TINY bit large depending on how you like your outerwear/layering circumstances, but i think true to size if compared to other columbia clothing you own

Rated 1 out of 5 by An0nym0us from Looks like Prince Charming, but it's a frog Got the right size (small), but it still fit like a baggy, shapeless tent even when cinched at the waist. It's too long with the tail in the back (if you're 5'2" and under) and the sleeves are especially baggy and way too long (and I have very long arms). The material also feels flimsy, like it might tear easily, and would not hold up in the rain. Not worth the price. I did like the fit of the hood, if only the rest of the jacket followed suit.
