Women's Daska Pass ™ III Titanium Outdry™ Extreme Boot is rated out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by eke333 from Great Boot I did a lot of research before I bought this boot. I am a minimalist footwear enthusiast and do not enjoy a lot of support but due to an ankle injury I have been forced to look for an actual boot. It is extremely hard to find any sort of boot if you are used to a 0 or 4mm drop and are forced to adjust to a boot. I also need a wide toe box so I tend to wear a lot of keens, but also enjoy New Balance minimus. Lately I have been wearing a few Columbia's and enjoy their fit a lot. I actually LOVE them. I was first going to go with a Keen boot but I found a lot of their reviews just aren't very good and since I am forced to buy online due to living in a more remote area, I decided to take a chance! So on to the review, lol. The boot fits great! Nice room for my toes and a good heal area to hug my narrow Achilles area. Nice and tall, so awesome ankle support. I wore them the first day I got them on a rough snowy trail at -15C with a pair of smart wool socks. Grip wise they were great on the loose snow and I felt secure wearing them, no slips up or down hills. The boots lace up good and tight, even on my super slim feet. The laces stayed done up the whole time, so no need to double knot. Now lets just say these boost are not meant for the cold cold so my feet were a little cool but after about a km in they stayed toasty the whole 5km. Of course my feet were totally dry because these boots are designed for that. Ok for my only complaint and that is my own fault. They fit big :-( I ordered a womens size 10. I wear a solid 10 in Keens, Nike 5.0, Teva's, Merrell's, Ahnu, and lets just say I have over 200 pairs of foot wear and I am an outdoor enthusiast and know shoes! I also have 2 other pairs of Columbia's that are 10's and fit good. I wish I would have ordered a 9.5, I would have still had room for a large sock and been comfortable hiking as you should wear your hiking boots a 1/2 size big anyhow. I think a 9 for summer hiking would have worked good as well. I am going to keep them and put in an insole as I would rather a bigger boot than one too small. As for the drop, I have no idea what it is but my legs had no protest to these boots at all so it tells me its lower than the standard full boot drop is. I would totally recommend these boots to men or woman who are looking for a good quality, light weight, tall hiker. I think they would work for all foot types, there is enough room for toes to splay out without feeling like they would be too wide for more narrower feet. Now I just need the snow to melt so I can try them on some actual rough summer terrain! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by hikinchic from Ready for an epic hike in just 3 day hikes Shortest break in period I've ever had! Just 3 little day hikes ranging from 5 to 8 miles and these boots were ready for the big trail. No blisters or hot spots. Super lightweight and very firm soles. Slogged thru mucky mud and snow, over gravel to boulders with no leaks or issues.
