Women’s Drainmaker™ III Shoe is rated out of 5 by 34.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dfly from Drainmaker This was the second pair I purchased. Both shoes were very comfortable and dried quickly and did not have any odor. I use my water shoes nearly everyday so these qualities are important. My big toes broke through the shoe on the first pair and I was delighted to see the toe box was reinforced when I went to get the next pair. After less than a year, the sole of the second pair fell off as I was walking in the water. The glue used was sub par. I am hoping that others take the time to complain about the glue breaking down so this issue gets resolved because the shoe was great otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HeidiJ from A great shoe for people with foot problems This shoe has a wide enough footbed to stay comfortable all day, no pinching of toes! I normally wear 11 1/2, but a 12 fits my over the counter insole and leaves a little wiggle room. I sore these exclusively on a Peru hiking trip with no problems. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joie from I love these shoes! I've had these shoes for close to a year now. I wear them often and have washed them in the washing machine over and over. They come out looking brand new each time. I use them for everyday use. They are true to size and comfortable. I did have to add a heal pad, but that may be just me and not the shoe. I would definitely buy these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kase from A week on the river made marvelous These shoes made my week on the river so amazing. Walking on rocks and over cliffs and through water was a breeze. Not only that but I did it all in style. The thing I love the most is that they didn't fill full of rock. They offered great support in and out of the water and came home looking like new. I like that you can also put socks on with them and wear them for an athletic shoe. Great shoe all around!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolinaLF from I love them ! I had not experienced these shoes. Their appearance is that of a sports shoe as there are so many ... but, after trying them are really incredible. Perforated insoles to drain water, great traction on rocks with water. The sole has holes for the water outlet and at the same time, provides incredible flexibility. They contain the foot and are true to size. Beautiful exterior design. Very comfortable and can be used with or without socks. Already start saving money, to buy my next pair in another color ... I love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LDubTallahassee from The perfect summer shoe I'm not a regular reviewer but these shoes deserve a shout out. I bought them to take on vaction to Utah. Wore them in the water to hike the narrows in Zion national park. They were amazing! Handled the water and rocks perfectly and dried out very quickly. Also, hiked more than 10 miles in total in them during the course of our trip. Also wore them white water rafting. Back home in north Florida I wear them on the boat and kayak fishing all day and they are just as great as the day I bought them. I even wore them to a theme park in Orlando and my feet were cool and comfy all day! Cant say enough about these shoes - both in and out of the water. The perfect all around shoe. Get them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coolleen from Perfect Active Water Shoe I bought these shoes to use while kayaking. They are stylish and comfortable enough to wear walking around before getting into the boat and also afterwards to let your feet dry out. The water drains quickly and while your foot is still damp, it's no time soaking like it would be in sneakers. There is minimal cushioning, but I expect that from a shoe that needs to drain. These shoes are perfect for my needs and more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PoolRunner from Perfect So glad Columbia offers size 10.5, it is a perfect fit. This is my second pair. First green pair purchased over a year ago. I wear these at least 3 days a week for 1.5 hour water aerobics at the Y. Lots of fast running laps the length of the pool. Barefoot in the pool would be ill advised due to roughness of pool floor. I wear them into the shower and then while doing a few errands. They drain well and are not squishy. I often get compliments on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maya101 from Very comfortable shoe I was looking for a pair of comfortable walking shoes that I could also wear in the water for our trip to Mexico. Unlike most shoes that need some "breaking in", these felt just right from the first time I put them on. I wore them in the airport and on an all day walking tour. The true test was at the water park. I was in and out of the water all day. They seemed a little clumsy when trying to swim with them on but walking through shallow water was fine. Overall they worked great! Dried fairly quickly as well. Very pleased with this purchase and would consider buying another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Juleon from Light and Airy! These are fun. These are bought for crossing streams and some Utah hiking through rivers and while I haven't tested them yet in this context I have done some hiking/walking in them and they are comfy, airy, and a great all around summer shoe! I'll come back and update this in June once they are tested as water hiking shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ECRizzo from When backpacking, still need camp shoes This is a great looking and fitting shoe. High quality and super comfortable. I tried to use it as both my water shoe and camp shoe on a recent backpacking trip. Unfortunately, the shoe didn't dry out and I had soggy shoes in camp. I'm sure they dry out quickly in hot weather/sun, but not so much in backcountry Yosemite in September.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gato93 from Great water shoe Wore these on a kayak trip down the Medina River last weekend. Very comfortable and great slip resistance in the water. The shoes and my feet both dried out quickly (I did not have prune feet when I got off the river six plus hours later). Purchased in the Quarry/Candy Mint color. Threw them in the washer when I got home and they look as good as new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Birdnerd from Weaker than the Drainmaker ll Shoes do not seem as sturdy as the Drainmaker ll. The base and insert construction is the same, but the fabric seems weaker. The tongue on the ll's connected on both side to keep debris from getting inside, the lll's do not have that feature. I depend on these shoes for work surveys in the mangroves and in deep mud, and they are still the best for the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MS1234 from Usable shoe I bought the Drainmaker shoe for an upcoming trip to Africa. I wanted a durable, lightweight, shoe that would dry quickly. It has all of those qualities and I think it will do well on my trip. However, I always wear a wide shoe, and no shoe company makes this kind of shoe in a wide, so I decided to try the Columbia. It is pretty comfortable; one baby toe is somewhat cramped, but I will keep them because I think they will work. Columbia, make some WIDE women's shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Burleighgirl from Fantastic Water Shoes I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica and Aruba. They were the best purchase I made. We hiked in pouring rain, climbed to and repelled down waterfalls, jumped off rocks to snorkel, rafted, hiked through lava fields, went horseback riding in the ocean. They held up great. I did not get one blister. Wore them without socks so they could drain. Sometimes sand or pebbles got in and I had to take them off and rinse them out, but that was not a problem. I would recommend these and would purchase them again. I did not even wear the tennis shoes I brought with me. These worked for every adventure and outing. Even cute with dresses and skirts. I wear a 10.5 to 11 and the 10.5 fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OregonGirl12 from About to order my third pair I already have two pairs of these shoes in different colors. I recently purchased another pair of shoes from a competitor, which I will be returning, and purchasing my third pair of Drainmaker III's. These are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. I haven't tried them in water yet, but for just everyday walking around they are awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kran from Womens Drainmaker shoe These shoes are the lightest and most comfortable shoes I have bought. I have a trip coming up to the Galapagos and they are exactly what I needed for a water shoe but also for walking on the islands. As an added bonus they are a great blue color.
