Women's Dry Spell™ Jacket is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely styled raincoat I got this jacket two weeks ago. Size fits as expected. Wear it once as a raincoat and love it very much. It is waterproof definitely and warm for weather about 60 °F. I did not notice that the back of the Jacket is longer than the front from the pictures when I order it. However, this was annoy me a bit only when I opened the package and now I have been used to it and love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket but the zipper could use some improvement I have been able to wear this jacket a couple times and it's super warm and perfect for fall in WI. It keeps me warm and dry. My only complaint is the zipper. The zipper is a two way zipper and it's very hard to get the zipper started. I have other Columbia jackets and don't have this problem. I would give it 5 stars except for the zipper issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry Spell jacket Bought this for my fiance, she absolutely loves it and loves the fact theres some insulation in it because she is cold more often than not! I also know the quality of Columbia is very good so I know it will hold up in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for rainy and chilly days I wanted a jacket that works well for rainy days, chilly days and looks great. I found it! Love the length of the jacket and the print of the fabric. I bought a large so I could layer a sweater under it if I needed a bit of extra warmth for a hike. It does not look too big.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dry spell jacket Well the weather isn't cold enough for me to truly test this jacket. But when i tried it on it fit well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! This rain jacket is waterproof and soft and comfortable. It moves easily with my body. I bought it for soggy day hikes and for staying dry and comfortable when I have to stand on the sidelines and cheer on my kids in the rain. It works perfectly for both activities. I highly recommend this rain jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife loves it! I purchased this for my wife and when she saw it... she loved it... The fit was excellent but the sleeves a bit long but not a real issue. It is comfortable and great for rainy weather which we seem to be the norm here in Eastern Ontario this Spring! She did note the quality is high on the finish of the coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for rainy cold days This jacket is not only waterproof but warm. I have raincoats but was looking for something g on the warm side for our cold Cleveland spring days. This jacket is perfect. The length is longer than a jacket but still short enough in the front not to restrict movement. Also has a hood which forme is a must. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Listen to the reviews I am a small in women. I ordered this jacket in a small and it was tight around my arms and tight at the lower part of the jacket. And from my mishap... I did not realize the jacket was fleece lined. Sucks because the rest of the jacket isn't that "warm"... its just the chest that is fleece lines so its not really uniform.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fits perfectly great jacket for Denver very flattering and cute

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! Functional and so so cute. Waterproof with softest warm lining. Keeps me warm in chilly(not freezing) weather. Blocks the wind. Adjustable cuffs are a nice feature as are the multitude of pockets, including one on inside of jacket. Coverage below hips and bum greatly apprecited. Nice hood attached. There is nothing that I do not LOVE about this jacket. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty cute, functional coat I was a little worried ordering this online after all the reviews about size. I'm 5'4", 140lbs, and typically a 36D bra. I ordered the large despite encouragement from other reviewers to go a size up from normal. It fits great and is perhaps even a bit big, I have enough room for a sweater under and I can still sit comfortably with it zipped up. The zipper is a bit weird, and I do wish it was a bit more shape flatterin in the middle, the picture looked a bit more like it would be than it actually is. The double pockets are great, I can button my phone in one layer and put my hands in the other. The color is cute and it's reasonably warm, although the fleece inside it looks pretty cheap for a $120 coat. Nevertheless, it gets the job done for a Seattleite that walks everywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dual zipper...WHY?!?!? I received this jacket in about 3-5 days after my purchase. Read the reviews and since others say it ran big I ordered a Medium instead of a Small. For a girl that's 5'0 and 120lbs I was swimming in it! I returned it and got a small instead. I love this jacket! It keeps me dry during the indescribable and bipolar weather I deal with in Chicago. Overall, this jacket is comfortable and I love how it covers about halfway to my thighs and my behind. BUT my only dislike about it this jacket is the dual zipper. I don't understand the whole purpose of having it. It's so difficult to zip up especially when I'm in a rush! I'd purchase more jackets like this from Columbia..but no more dual zippers PLEASE!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't run that small!! I am usually a size small or medium in women's clothing. After reading the reviews on this jacket, I decided to order a size medium. It wasn't just a little loose, it was obviously too big. I exchanged the jacket for a small and it fits just fine, maybe just a tad too big in the chest and shoulders. I purchased this jacket for an upcoming trip so haven't really worn it yet, but it seems like it will provide more warmth than just a regular rain jacket or shell. Just wish the pockets zipped up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Coat! I love this coat! The exterior fabric is so soft which makes it very flexible and comfortable unlike other rain jackets that are often stiff. The interior furry lining is also incredibly soft and warm but light enough to wear on a 50+ degree day. It has served me very well in our record rainfall this winter. I followed the guidance for fit - site said it ran a little small so I got a large. I wear a medium to large normally. Fits perfect. My only critique would be that the hood is so large that even with the cord snugged it falls down over my eyes. But this is better than the alternative!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recommended Overall good coat, just not a fan of the hood. It doesn't stay on well when it is rainy AND windy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too small I liked the lining, seems as if it would be warm enough for an inbetween season rain jacket, which is what I wanted. But it didn't fit. I am an XL and that's what I ordered, but it fit like MAYBE a L. And they don't come larger than XL, so I had to return it. Very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great jacket, however............ Received this jacket and it was exactly what I was looking for. Love at first sight until I tried to zip it. After 10 minutes of trying I gave up and called Columbia. Long story short - it is being returned,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good rain jacket i've only worn it a couple of times so far, but it has been waterproof and warm (except the sleeves are not warm). like other reviews mentioned, the zipper tends to get stuck, but it works if you adjust it right and pull it slowly. the hood is a little hard to keep on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good jacket just didn't work out Pretty jacket. Good length. Warm. Wanted to wear this to NFL games with sweatshirt underneath. Got an XL for extra room, but it ran very small. Also, was surprised at the pile lining, so wearing something under the jacket would not slide easily. First time I tried to adjust elastic on hood, one end popped right out. Well made except for that issue. I had to return the jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problematic zipper Loved the jacket until I had to zip it up. The zipper kept getting stuck. I am disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice weight and warmth level I really like the warmth level of this jacket, with its fleece layer inside. It ups the insulation factor of a standard rain jacket by just the right amount for an average wet winter day in Portland. It is totally rainproof, and the longer tail and generous hood keeps me dry. I am having trouble getting the zipper to mate properly about 50% of the time, which is why I rated Quality and Function lower. But I am happy with all other aspects of this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived a true test I walk every morning, and I bought this jacket hoping it would protect me from the chilly Oregon rain. Shortly after purchasing this jacket Mother Nature decided to dump 5" of rain on us in 48 hours. Through all the sandbagging and river watching and every torrential downpour of those few days this jacket kept me dry without leaking. It has a soft fleecy interior so you feel comfortable and snug. I bought it a size larger so I would have room for wearing a hood or thick sweater underneath but it doesn't seem to run tight so I'm not sure that was necessary. Whatever is under this jacket will stay completely dry. I wish I could say the same for the rest of my clothes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect coat for cool drizzly temps Perfect weight coat for 40-65 degree temps. The outside layer feels and sounds like a nylon raincoat which is desirable for rainy climates like PNW, might bother you if you are just going for fashion. Lightweight yet warm and cozy fleece lining. Longer silhouette works well for taller ladies. Very very happy with this purchase!
