Stay Dry and Comfortable
Love the EvaPOURation jacket - one of the few jackets I could find with sleeve vents. These are very important to me as they keep me cooler while I'm zipped up and dry. Adjustable hood can be preset and then it will always stay right where I need it - keeping my face dry but not blocking my vision. Velcro on the wrist means no rain running up my sleeves as I hike using poles. 100% my favorite!

works well in rain
Got to wear this in the rain shortly after purchasing it. It was a light to moderate rain and worked well keeping me dry. The hood coverage was good (there is a Velcro flap in the back of the hood that cinches it down a bit when not in use so it wasn't covering the back of my neck). Not sure why any rain jacket boasts that it 'breathes'. I don't believe one exists in reality. I was doing a fairly easy to moderate pace hike/walk for about an hour in temps around 70F and was lightly wet inside from sweating, wearing a short sleeved shirt. I expect if I had had a long sleeved layer underneath I wouldn't have felt it. There are pit zippers which I didn't open but that is a good reason to have them. After reading the reviews that it sized small, I ordered up one size. I am usually a medium-petite and ordered a large which fit fine except for the longer sleeves- the cuff Velcro mitigated this. I would be able to add a light underneath layer, such as a light fleece shirt. I wasn't looking for a jacket that would accommodate a heavier layer underneath. I have something else for the winter.
Like having zippered pockets and an inside mesh for stuff you want to keep dry on the inside of the jacket behind the pockets and the pit zippers. 4 stars for not 'breathing' and sizing. It's otherwise a 5.

Cool shirt - literally

Rain Jacket
I have not had the opportunity to wear the jacket yet, but am looking forward very soon. The fit was just a bit more roomy than expected and the sleeves were too long. With the velcro around the sleeve cuff, it tightens up wonderfully and snug. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to wearing it. For reference I am 5' 4", weight 100 lbs and ordered XS.

I was looking for a rain jacket to wear during rainy season in a tropical climate. Though I have yet to take the trip I did try to jacket out in the summer rain in NY. I was DRY!!! I do regret listening to customer service and ordering a large--its big on me and I probably would have been a bit happier with a medium.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
I purchased the arctic blue and the blue is actually quite a bit lighter than it looks in the picture, and I loved it so much more! This coat is functional anyone who hikes, camps or might just be caught out in the rain quite a bit for their job like me. I am 6'1 and often times run into issues with coats being short in the arms and in the torso. That is not the case with this coat! It is very breathable and I am able to fit a long sleeve shirt underneath it without it being snug. If you are looking for a lightweight coat to keep you dry I would definitely recommend this product

I’m a dog walker who is out everyday during the week no matter the weather. So I need clothes to keep me dry when out in the rain for 3+ hours. After trying a few other jackets and still getting soaked or just sweating too much to bear (in the summer, it gets very hot and humid in MA). This arrived a day early and just in time for 3 days in a row of downpours. The first day was 94% humidity and about 75/80 degrees f. I was kept dry and I wasn’t soaked in sweat or feeling like I’d been trapped inside a plastic bag in the summer LOL. The zipper comes up nice and high as well as the hood covering your whole head and being able to tighten when needed. I’m beyond happy with this jacket! And it pairs well with their rain pants!

Runs small for women size 8
Purchased for my active teen girl who is 5 foot 8 inches, weighs about 125 pounds and wears a size 8 ladies on a hungry day. Arms are too short, ending right at wrist when hanging down. Shoulder seams are on top of the shoulders, not at edges of shoulders and cut is tight around back, waist and shoulder blades when she moved. Length to her waist was perfect for her. Returning for a bigger size as she loved the jacket and how the fabric felt.

Great Jacket
The proof is in the wearing of this jacket. I got caught in a downpour recently. The parts of my body covered by this jacket were completely dry, including my hair. I love the lightweight feel of the unique material its made of. I highly recommend this jacket for rainy day cover. I have the Wine Berry color. Very nice! It's true to the picture on the web site.

Keeps Me Dry
I got the Medium Siberia color which was on sale. The fit and quality are both good. I have worn it through two rain showers so far and it has kept me dry. I like the fact that when I get back inside I can just shake the jacket dry. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone wanting a lightweight, breathable rain jacket.

I ordered this jacket in the Arctic Blue and it is beautiful. Love this vibrant blue. This jacket is waterproof, for sure. I love that the zipper at the neck/chin area is covered by that little pocket. One thing I can't tolerate is a zipper digging into my chin. My wish is that Columbia would make this jacket a bit longer and include more, and roomier, pockets.

Great rain jacket for the price!!!!
I recently purchased the EvaPOURation rain jacket and was pleasantly surprised how well it performed during the recent downpour. It's lightweight and has underarm venting which is great to allow all that heat buildup you might have while hiking or running around wearing the jacket. Rain just slides right on off---jacket is loose enough that you can wear a sweatshirt underneath and still be comfortable. Love that it's totally rainproof unlike other jackets I've purchased which claim to be and then you end up getting a bit damp once the rain has worked its way through. NOT this jacket though. Was running around going to class and got caught in a sudden downpour, I mean it was coming down in buckets and I stayed nice and dry (can't say the same about my poor feet though, hahaha)

Perfect packable rain jacket
This rain jacket is exactly what I was looking for: waterproof, breathable, packable, lightweight, armpit vents, adjustable hood, zippered pockets, and adjustable cuffs. The fit is great not too boxy or fitted, and it is a decent length.
I got it in the Siberia blue and absolutely love it. I haven't had the chance to test it out in a real downpour, but I have high expectations for using this as a trail rain jacket.

Nice rain jacket
I love the lagoon color of this jacket and how it fits. It has zipper vents under the arms and zippers On the pockets. My only concern is the zippers are plastic and I’m afraid it won’t last as long as metal zippers. The zipper is the only reason I gave a 4 star rating. Time will tell on the zippers.

Mt Hood to Coast - multifunctional shell
Excellent rain/snow shell. Fit is slender, but roomy enough to wear a vest, fleece, or light puffy underneath on the mountain or at the coast. Pit zips are great for adjusting temp too.
Color is cuter in person.
Keeps me dry in a downpour and blocks extreme coastal winds. Hood fits my head well, even drawn closely around my face. Have worn a scarf and balaclava with it.
Sleeves are long enough to allow movement but not too long as to drape or bunch.
Multipurpose, light and better all around than expected.

This jacket fits true to size except the arms are long. The jacket does keep you dry. I was surprised that it didn’t have a cotton lining. It seems better suited to spring rain as opposed to winter rain in that it protects against rain not against cold. I’m glad that I got it on sale because it does not seem worth $100 in my opinion.

Just what I was looking for, an unlined rain jacket with a hood. I also wanted one that is packable to store easily in a back pack or when traveling. It has a somewhat tailored fit, but not tight so it is very comfortable for an active person. I love the underarm vents and adjustable cuffs and hem.

Quality excellent, runs small
I ordered this jacket and 2 others for my teen daughter who wanted a raincoat. She is normally a women's size 6 or 8, so we were confident the Large would fit as my past experience with Columbia outerwear taught me that sizing can run small.
We received the order and were disappointed that the jacket was too small to wear anything other than mediume weight clothing underneath -- no room for layering.
While she didn't wear it in the rain and field test the functionality, the construction looks amazing. The zippers look sleek and waterproof, every seam is sealed, the fabric looks very waterproof. The quality looks so solid, I was actually disappointed that it didn't fit.
