Rated 4 out of 5 by from decent jacket Nice size, good length, only issues are would like zipper to open from both ends, and a way to tighten the hood. Very warm for it's weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight & warm Love this jacket! I usually wear a size 6 and a small or medium for coats, but needed a large, so they do run small. The sleeves are a bit long, but I'm a bit short. It is so easy to pack, stylish and warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Postpartum Jacket I love it, it's cute, light, and warm at the same time. What I like most is the fit, after having a baby it doesn't make my front look pudgy, more flattering actually!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Jacket I am enjoying this jacket much more than I expected. I wear it pretty much everyday. It fits perfectly and keeps me warm. They colors pair nicely with just about anything. I really enjoy that you can dress it up or down and it’s definitely not too puffy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia is my go to I love my coat!! So light weight and functional and looks good on. I love the two tone. Columbia is the best and I can always depend on their products in the harshest conditions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dusty purple/India ink I was looking for a warm jacket came across this one and fell in love with the colors. Keeps me warm, lightweight & just awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm I have the black/gravel color. I purchased to replace a older Omni Heat Jacket. Love the color blocking, I get lots of compliments on the pop or orange. It's warm and has been helping me get through the high and lows of NY weather this year. The length doesn't stop at the hip but isn't long either. Perfect length to keep the wind out!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Been looking at this jacket for some time and finally bought since it was on sale. But shortly was disappointed when I wore it first time hiking and it ripped. The outer material is very thin and a branch hit me just right and put a 2inch slice in it on my chest just off from the Columbia stitching. So currently trying to figure out how to repair. Just disappointed that it's not rugged enough for outdoor activities. It's very warm

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm a zipper freak As an adult who does not change size much most of my outerwear lasts a long time....if it has a good quality, tough enough zipper. I ordered both the women's Explorer Falls and a boys jacket because I like to layer, maybe had I only ordered one it would not have been so obvious. The boys jacket has an AMAZING zipper, the Explorer Falls has a thin, not strong, wont last long plastic zipper that I know won't last more than a couple of years. Other than that I think the jacket is great, it is warm, attractive and does the job as expected. Remember Columbia, girls play hard too and want our equipment to hold up to that!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Explorer fall jacket Definitely as described a jacket not a coat for winter especially not for Chicago/NY colds or snow, but if you were another thick layer underneath perhaps that would help a little. A little below waist and color exactly as shown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best! I LOVE my jacket! It's very warm for it to be so light. It's perfect

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jacket for the winter I ordered the jacket for Christmas and received it very quickly! It’s been terribly cold out and this jacket keep me warm! Very happy about the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thin. 90% down so warmer than other more feather % jackets I am surprised to see people say that this runs large. I am a pretty true size 8, and I ordered a medium. This jacket fits me without a ton of room to layer underneath, but I can get a few layers in. It is not bulky or a boxy and my opinion. And the medium fits more like an eight rather than a 10 in my humble opinion. The shell is thin, but looks a little more rugged than some jackets of this nature. The down is very thin, and because of that, it’s hard for me to think of it as warm. Let me explain, if I am outside and 15° weather as I was this morning and the shell of the jacket gets very cold, and I rest my arms against my belly, for instance, then, I feel like I can sense the cold coming in as there is hardly any puffiness to this jacket. I would love it if Columbia used more earthtones such as tan, or added a 10 zipper on a black jacket for instance. I feel like the colors are really dark, or sort of Gaudy magentas usually.I don’t mind the olive and black combination of this jacket and I especially like the orange zipper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very lightweight I love the colors, but I was hoping for a warmer jacket more for cold winter days. I can still feel the cold wind through the coat - this is more of a fall jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps You Warm I have used this jacket while snowshoeing in the mountains and it has kept me very toasty! I love the block colors, very puffy and warm. However, it is really not all that water resistant. I've gone out snowshoeing when it's snowing pretty hard, and within a pretty short time the coat is starting to get wet and soak through. I recommend wearing a water proof coat over it if you're planning to be outside in the snow for a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy coat for CO winters! This coat is so cozy and warm. I love the fit. The lining is very soft. It will definitely keep me warm on chilly Telluride morning walks to the gym! I'm 5'2 135lbs and I went with a small. The small fits perfectly with enough room for a hoodie underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight I love this jacket. The color (deep rust) is subtle yet it pops, the jacket contours very well and it actually kept me warm while in Edmonton when it reached 28ºF. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't cinch the hood. It stays on your head when you have the jacket zipped all the way up, but I always like that added security when it's windy, this way I'm not walking around with my head being pushed back from the wind tunnel that is created when it enters the hood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose fitting on arms Recently purchased this piece in small size. I liked the black/purple combination and it looked good on my body while trying. However, i was disappointed with the sleeves. First, the arms were loose and gave an appearance of over bulging arms. Second, the sleeve grip at the end of the hands was also loose. Did not wear it outside, but from it's appearance and touch felt it was a durable light weight jacket perfect for fall weather. Maybe x-small would have been better, but i didn't feel like buying one at the moment.
