Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! I bought this jacket for late Winter early Spring time.. I love how it breaks the wind and keeps you warm without making you feel so hot. The quality is great and it also keeps you dry during rain showers. I love it very much and recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this jacket Love this jacket! Keeps my daughter warm and keeps her from being soaked walking around on campus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cindy I love this coat. It fits perfectly and is not a heavy coat. Good for fall and winter if it stays around 30°. Works good for sporting events that you do not have a heavy coat to carry in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft shell with softer inside Love this jacket, it has the soft shell exterior I love and the inside is super soft fur like material that is very warm, but also not bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Great color, very sleek and warm, very flattering

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Absolutely wind free and in northwestern Pennsylvania in the winter this is very important!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good basic jacket Was looking for a rain jacket that wasn't too bulky but could keep me warm at 45F. This one almost made the grade. It's comfortable, and a nice basic jacket, but not warm enough for 45F and too tailored to fit a layer under it. It could also use a little more styling, very soccer mom. For sizing, I'm 5'8" and 175LBS. A medium was tight on me and a Large was too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia Jacket I just purchased this jacket a few days ago, haven't got to wear it in very cold weather yet but it's is so soft and seems warm. They fit is great but does run slightly small, I'm 5'3" and 125lbs I'm normally a S small but did get a M to be able to move around in it but in all love this jacket and glad I purchased it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it !! Will admit at first I was definitely iffy about choosing such a light jacket. But it's really warm. Keeps wind out. Long enough to cover my back if a lot of movement is needed, which is always helpful. Best of all stretchy so that you could be comfortable thru your daily routines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket The color is really pretty and definitely keeps the wind out. Not sure how warm it will be as I got it for fall and it hasn't been that cold yet. I ordered large so I could wear sweatshirts under it. I have a large in another Columbia coat so I just ordered the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality rain/wind jacket I love the color and the fit. I will use this jacket a lot in Northern Minnesota. It is wind and rain resistant but soft and supple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Spring I love the interior, so soft and warm as well as the exterior. No need to worry of the rain and cold weather. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best coat I've owned This jacket has the softest inside and it repels rain perfectly. This is one of the greatest jackets I've owned. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket but doesn't breathe I bought this jacket as a replacement of a similar Columbia soft shell jacket I had bought years ago and where the zipper had irrevocably broken. I loved that old jacket and it served me well through many cold Ottawa winters hiking, skating, skiing and cycling in temperatures down to -36°C. I thought this new jacket would be as breathable as the old one but it isn't. It is windproof and water repellent and looks good, but the designers should have put in some vents somewhere because perspiration builds up especially on the upper back and no amount of moisture wicking under- and mid-layers can prevent me from feeling cold and clammy after wearing it for a short while. I am considering putting some zippers in the arm pits for ventilation. I like the clean and unfussy cut and the bold purple colour. Otherwise I would have returned it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great jacket if you don't need a hood I really wanted to like this jacket. It's great in every way except for the hood. The hood is very short and barely covered my head. Also, since there is no way to cinch the hood, the first gust of wind would blow it right off. Having to return it for this reason
Date published: 2017-01-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sporty Jacket This product is well-fitting with a longer back and hood suitable for cooler, wet days. It has a cozy lining for warmth. It is not suitable for wearing anything heavy as a first layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Wanted I have a bit of a coat addiction and I was looking for a good in between jacket for spring/fall. It's the perfect weight for those cooler days that you just need to throw on something over a t-shirt. It's also roomy enough that you can layer underneath for colder temps. The fit is a nice relaxed fit that leaves room for layering but doesn't look baggy or sloppy. I got it in black because I think it gives it a dressier look that makes it super versatile so I can wear it to the gym or to work. Some people said the hood is too big but I think it's just fine. Columbia and other winter sport companies often make the hoods roomy enough that you can fit a helmet underneath. If it was smaller people would be complaining they couldn't get it over their helmets and that's never a good thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New Favorite Jacket The fit of this jacket is absolutely PERFECT. Not only that but it keeps me warm and dry and should still have room for my to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. I am about 5'11" with 38" bust and a 30" waist. My only wish is that the sleeves were a little longer and that the hood had a little more room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! Replaced a much older, larger jacket with this one and put it to the test today in our storm. Love it! 2 points to consider: doesn't breathe so wear light clothing if temps are warmer and as with all Columbia jackets I have, the hood is large. This one has no drawstring so it can blow off though the high-zip neck helps better than some of the others. (For some reason, the hoods are made for Charlie Brown-sized heads)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and stylish Great rain/wind jacket! It's very warm yet not bulky at all and feels like it's made with high quality materials. I love the zippered pockets and the adjustable Drawcord at the bottom to make it look a little less baggy. Also, I like that there's no huge branding on the breast, just a discrete logo on the sleeve. The only thing I'm not crazy about is even at a size x-small, it's still fairly big on me (I am 5 feet tall and 105 lbs.) Wish it was slightly more tailored and fitted, but overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Color - Wrong Size I liked the color, lining and hood. But the size was way off. The jacket was VERY small but the sleeves were long. It was almost like the body and sleeves were not made for each other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fashionable I love the color of this coat. It is a little fitted, which I love. Slimming and really warm.
Date published: 2016-04-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mid-temp jacket This jacket works great for those in-between damp temps in the upper 30s to 50s, and the hood stays secure without blowing off when the jacket is fully zipped, something many of my other hooded jackets have a problem with. I wish it were a bit longer, but it's still worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kruser Ridge jacket Bought this to fill in a gap in my coat closet, needed something that would be warmer than a fleece but not as warm as my down coat, hoping this fits the bill. The fit seems to be right on, read a couple other reviews that said it fits large, I'm a large and it just fits, don't think I'll be able to get much underneath it. Lining is soft, not sure how warm yet as it has been in the 20's here recently. Seems very wind and rain resistant, which should be perfect. I bought the India Ink which is a grayish blue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great coat, but mine came needing repair This coat is perfect for day to day errands. It's fairly light, but heavy enough to keep you warm and dry. The sleeves are very long, but it's a typical problem for me. The only problem with the coat was the pocket wasn't sewn closed on one side. I purchased online and it's not worth the hassle of a return. I'll repair my brand new coat myself. I'm mostly reviewing to alert COLUMBIA that they should pay closer attention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Very comfortable and somewhat fitted too!
Date published: 2016-01-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good. It does block the wind but you still need a warm sweater underneath. I'm tiny. 4'11 and slim and the x-small was still a little big, but with a sweater, it fits just fine. I do like that it's water resistant. The reason I chose this jacket is because I'm not outside for a long time (a quick walk to the car). I don't really need a big jacket. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that cold over here in Chicago, so I'll post another review in a month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to size, wonderful jacket I had another softshell jacket by another company that was lined but I just didn't think it was a quality product. So I ordered this jacket and it exceeded my expectations. I read reviews saying it was large but it was true to size for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket I bought this for my teenage daughter for a birthday present. She absolutely loves it. Great job Columbia for making a comfortable, stylish jacket that my daughter will actually wear!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Love This Jacket I bought this jacket with the egift cards I received for purchasing a vest and a coat before November 20th, basically Colombia gave it to me as a gift for shopping with them. Thank You Colombia. The jacket is absolutely beautiful, I purchased the Purple Dahlia and it is a lot prettier in person then online. I usually wear a 1X, but because the plus size didn't come with a hood I took a chance and ordered the XL. I must say it fits me fine, I mean I can zip it up with no problem and I don't feel confined in it. The thing is I won't be able to wear a hoodie or a sweater with it, but than again I wasn't planning on it. It's the kind of coat you would wear at the beginning of spring, or fall when the weather has a LITTLE chill in the air. I am so happy with my purchase. I can't say how it feels when I wear it outside as I live in Chicago and by the time I received it the weather here got quite cold and very damp. However, when Chicago's weather gets a little milder I'll write another review. In till then I would strongly advise you to purchase if you're considering doing so. One more thing I would like to add is the inside is fleece and it is so soft, as well as the pockets which are also deep and have zippers so you don't have to worry about anything falling out. GO FOR IT!!!! I know when I was reading the reviews I was hoping people would give their height and weight, I am 5'1" and 181lbs. Hope this review is helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great functional and comfortable soft shell I am 5' 2" and 110 lbs, I am petite but muscular. I originally ordered this jacket in a size Small and that was extremely large, then I returned it for an X-small and that was still too big in the sleeves, I have to roll them up, which isn't ideal for the kind of jacket and cut of the sleeves. But it's working and I like the rest of it so much I am going to keep it. Soft lining keeps me pretty warm while the shell has done a good job of repelling light rain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit REALLY large! I wanted to love this. I received it and it would have been perfect for layering with a fleece had it not been SO big. Definitely size down. The fit was a little bulky as well, but for me that is fine if the size is right and its for layering. It's really thin, so I would only use this as a stand alone in very mild weather, like mid 50s
Date published: 2015-11-03
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not like Was way too thin, with another very thin layer of the plush fur. Was also stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Also fit very baggy. Do not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice jacket Since I live in Florida I have not worn this jacket yet, but it is very nice, with sleeves that are long enough for people with long arms, like me. I like the color too.
Date published: 2015-10-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for fall! Ordered India ink color, it's actually a pretty gray/blue shade. Like it better than expected. Ordered a large, usually wear large or xl jacket so I can layer under it for football games. Fits great & can wear hoodie under it. I always have issues with other jackets being too short in arms, this one is made a little longer & fits well. I'd definitely recommend it!
