Women's Kruser Ridge™ Softshell - Past Season is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jacket! I love everything about this jacket. I bought it a year or two ago and it is still in perfect condition. I've lost weight so I wanted to buy it in another size, without realising it, I bought the "new season" version. I was extremely disapointed. This jacket fits perfectly. The new version is awful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love the quality I normally wear small size and so i ordered small but it was a little big on me... but it's ok since i will wear this with layers. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Jacket! Love the comfort and feel of this multi-season jacket-- I bought a Medium Razzle the summer of 2014 for a trip to cooler climes. The sleeves are longer as I'm 5'1", though not a bother. Pockets, princess lines and reinforced double stitching on front and back, in the same color, are nice. The features and fit are great for cutting wind, resisting water and layering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can Columbia make Petite sizes? I do like this jacket, but the size is way too small. I have checked the size chart and my size should be size M (my bust size is between 41-42"); however, I still ordered size L. When I received the package and tried it on, couldn't zip up. So, I had to order the size XL, and paid for the return shipping fee. Another issue is I normally wear petite size (5' 1") and I hate to fold up the sleeves. Therefore, I had to hem the sleeves; and yes, I had to pay for it too. Really hope Columbia can make some clothes for Petite people. Other than that, this is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and look I love the fitted look for outdoor wear and this jacket has that plus functionality. Great for damp springs and falls and classy enough to go from trail to tavern

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're debating to buy, do it. I LOVE this jacket. I wear it everyday. It's perfect for wet weather because of the repellent shell material. Extremely flattering, a little long but I like it that way. Favorite Columbia piece so far

Rated 3 out of 5 by from small I would not pay 50 dollars for the jacket. I would recommend to someone else not for 50. I got it on cyber Monday for 34. Super small.
Date published: 2014-12-19
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too long in torso and too tight in arms The torso is way too long and looks unflattering. The arms are too tight and restrict movement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simple This soft shell is such a good value. It fits well, is comfortable and performs. Really like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection I had been wanting this jacket for months and finally decided to invest the money and let me tell you... it was WELL worth the investment. This jacket is perfect for cool days and even better in cool, wet days. I bought the Large, although I typically wear a Medium... I wanted the ability to wear a sweater under it without any bunching issues. I'm glad I chose to go with the Large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket, Warm but Light and Water repellent outside This jacket is wind resistant and keeps me dry in the rain. and sleet. It provides warmth without the bulkiness of the typical winter puff coat. I have the interchange style jacket in a small and I ordered this jacket in a small as well, I feel that this runs a little snugger than the interchange. A medium would be more appropriate most likely if I plan to wear a sweatshirt underneath. If you are in between sizes, I would choose the larger of the 2. This jacket has little to no stretch so it will not stretch out over time. It has a more fitted style. Sleek black look, and body contouring. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Love the jacket, fits well except through the hips. If you have wider hips, you may want to go up a size unless you are tall and the jacket won't hit you there. Otherwise, LOVE IT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ridge softshell Comfortable, durable, great fit, love the length and of course made by a reliable name brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 40 plus temps Thought this was going to be a little heavier for colder weather, but was great when we warmed up to the 40's. Wears great, fits great, clean up was great. Glad I purchased this jacket from Columbia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great! I was a little nervous getting this jacket because I have large shoulders and arms but a small waist and big bust so I would always get an extra large when in reality, I'm a medium is shirts. But I got a large this time and its a bit snug but comfortable. If you have big hips like me, it'll be just a little tight. It all depends how snug you like your clothing to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful jacket! I have been waiting to get a Columbia softshell jacket for awhile now. I've never found a color or a style I liked enough to buy. When I came across this jacket online, I bought it without hesitation. The jacket is great. Fits great, looks great, and feels great. Very pleased. And the color (inkling) is so pretty. Very happy and I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great material, but has some problems It's TOO LONG! I got a small and I'm a 5'4", 125lb girl. The sleeves also feel a little tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I don't like bulky coats so I absolutely love this coat. It keeps out the cold but doesn't add a lot of layers. I already have the black one and wear it all the time. Definitely recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the color & fit! The item was a gift for my young professional daughter. She loves the color and fit.
Date published: 2014-02-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good It looks sleek and fits comfortably. The inner lining is soft though I wish it was a little warmer, because I also wear this as a jacket liner -- but that might just mean I should have gotten the fleece too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for my needs. Love this jacket. It fits great. Lightweight, yet warm. I am so pleased with the quality of this jacket.
Date published: 2014-02-10
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strange fit This jacket was tight across the chest and too long in the arms. Overall a very weird shape. I'm sending it back, and kicking myself for buying from a company with such a poor shipping and returns policy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I've been looking for a jacket that has long sleeves for my long arms. I'm 5 10' and wear a size 12. I'm glad I purchased an XL. Fits great and is a quality product.
Date published: 2014-01-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very well made I thought this was a beautiful jacket and very well made - it is cut at the ribs to give an "hourglass" look without being too tight. However, I would recommend getting a size larger than what you're used to wearing as the arms are a bit small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmer than expected I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. Its just a shell, but keeps you warm and cuts the wind even at 40 degrees. Shes a junior size Medium in most clothing, but I ordered the Large (after reading reviews), and it fits her great. Highly recommend this jacket for an all-weather must-have!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small I purchased this jacket for my daughter. She usually wears a size 6. I loved the color, but the jacket was way too small, tight and could not be zipped up. I sent the jacket back, had to pay $18 for shipping. Then I order a medium, only in red because they did not have the blue in medium. It came in and was a little to small. This jacket will be returned also. I will have to pay shipping again. If I ever order a Columbia product again, I would order through Amazon where I believe returns postage is free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! I purchased the Kruser Ridge last month and it's incredible. I've wanted to buy a Columbia jacket for awhile now and it has exceeded my expectations! It's the warmest and most comfortably flexible coat I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Thought I looked at previous reviews before I ordered this Jacket and most of them said that it was tight in the hips... I have to disagree. I wanted a jacket that looks good with skinny jeans and boot or leggings and boots and still flatters my body without making it bulky or looking baggy. I ordered a Medium and I normally wear a Medium/Small in shirt size and a 28 waist/7-8 in pant size so the hips are roomy and the rest fit nicely. It runs a bit tight in the arms and I can only wear a sweatshirt under it... nothing too thick, but for a fall and not being outside for long periods of time in the winter it is perfect. Also the length sits right below my butt and it is very flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style trumps sizing This is a beautifully cut jacket. The long lines flatter those with generous hips. It runs small, so it requires confidence to buy a size larger than one normally would, but it's well worth the leap of faith. Great to wear with a turtle neck or other (relatively) form-fitting top underneath. Wear alone or as a layer under a bulkier jacket. Perfect for autumn (or winter in the south).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel Product fits comfortably, not bulky feeling but warm! Love the color have had several comments (all positive!).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs a little small I love this jacket although I wish I had gotten a size larger because it runs small in the hips.
Date published: 2013-09-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great coat...but snug I love this coat! Yes, it's a little longer than I expected, and a little snug-won't be wearing anything heavier than a thin sweater under it-but I wanted it for moderately chilly days so it works for that. I got a large which is what I'd usually order-I wear a 12 and need room across the shoulders. Unzipped it's very comfy, zipped is SNUG, but looks great and works-and it's WARM!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all purpose jacket Bought this jacket to take on a trip to England, love the cut and longer length. This jacket has clean, classic lines and worked for times I wanted to look a little more dressed up, yet comfy. The color and fit were great, the waterproof feature also a plus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice coat I always wear a large never an extra large and this coat in a large is a little small. the arms are a little tight if you have a long sleeve shirt on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the inconsistent weather of Minnesota I absolutely love this jacket. When I first received it in the mail I was a little worried because it was so long in the back, but actually the long cut is very flattering. The Spring season in Minnesota is ever-changing this year and this jacket has helped me get through snow, rain, and temperatures from 35 all the way up to 55.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable fit This jacket fits perfect, I have long arms and the arm length is great for me. The jacket is longer in the waist for a great slimming effect. The ebony blue color is an awesome deep eggplant blue. I work outdoors and this is a good midweight jacket for cool mornings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket! I really like this jacket!! I was looking for something not quite as heavy as a winter coat but something that could still handle the elements-basically a Fall and Spring jacket. And I think this jacket it great for those reasons. It's warm and water-proof, but fits well and doesn't look huge on me. It does run rather long, and I did order a size bigger so I could wear sweatshirts under it if I wanted, but it's still form-fitting and not baggy. I really like it, and have been very happy wearing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted I often have trouble with the fit of Columbia jackets - I am pear shaped and if they fit at the top, they are too tight at the bottom. This jacket doesn't have that problem, yay! I am 5'8" average build, and the medium size fits well and has enough room for a layer underneath. What I really like about this softshell is that it is a little bit longer than others I have tried. I also love the ebony blue color. Very pretty deep, dark color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful jacket, but too small This is a beautiful jacket but, unfortunately, I had to return it because it was too small. It may be alright as long as you're wearing light clothing underneath, but I couldn't get it over my sweatshirt. I would suggest ordering a size up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You need this! Yes, it's so worth it! The jacket is great! Super warm and comfortable. It looks great and functions better. One little issue... the sleeves are really long.
