Women’s Mighty Lite™ Hooded Plush Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 94.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from a little long for a short person I love this jacket so much. I sometimes wear it around the house, because I don't want to take it off. I live in Austin, Texas and it "just barely" keeps me warm when it is 32 degrees (with a hoodie underneath). BUT, I am cold blooded, and always cold! I am 5' tall, with a short waist, and I would say it is about 2" too long in the front, and cuts into my thigh when I sit. Minor issue, but I still truly love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light but warm in cold temps This really is a perfect jacket for traveling not bulky and keeps you warm. The hood was an added plus to have as well. This winter even in the south has called for a heavier jacket and this jacket ended working out well for the colder days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Bought this jacket for two reasons, running during winter and for a ski trip to Colorado. Texas this year got unusually winter weather, with a snow day and A few days of Frost. It kept me warm and not hot at all. I also run with jacket, in feel like 28’ temps. overall this jacket did not this point. Its water resistant. It was a great purchase. I’m 4,11 105lbs,bought an extra small which fit prefect. Light but very very warm. Will be buying two more. My kids loved mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything we wanted and more Lightweight and thin enough to not look like overkill when you’re wearing it in Central FL, while still being warm enough to handle mid 30s walks to the bus stop or 40- 50 degree evenings in a windy theme park. Not wind proof but the Omni heat works so well that you don’t seem to mind being out. Comfortable enough to wear in the car but unless it’s a short trip you’re likely to get too warm. It’s her new favorite jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I am extremely happy with this coat and it definitely keeps me warm on super cold days. We've had below zero temps and the Omni-Heat does it's job! I also wear it in warmer temperatures. An all around great any weather coat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little snug but it'll work I bought this for my upcoming trip to Iceland (because I haven't lived in cold climates for a while and gained weight so none of my winter coats zip up). I bought an XL, but wish I bought an XXL, because it's a little snug, especially with layers and a thick sweater underneath. It does zip up all the way and will work though, so I'm not worried. The coat is definitely thinner, so I'm not sure if it's going to be warm enough (especially since I've acclimated to warm weather), but it has the Omni-Heat thermal reflective insulation so I'm assuming it's going to be OK. I actually like the thinner design because it's great for traveling, and I've actually already used it in Miami during a cold spell (43 degrees F in the morning! brrr! haha!). I got the cream/white color, which I'm pairing with the hooded white fleece vest for a fashionable look. I really like this jacket, especially the hood and thumbholes. If you live in a cold climate and are outdoors a lot, you might want to get a thicker sturdier jacket but I think this one would work well for home to car to work/store to car, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Perfect fit, weight, and quality!
Date published: 2018-01-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's alright I love the look of the jacket, but as far as functionality goes I feel it could be better. I'm tall and slender with an athletic build and ordered a small. Disappointed that Columbia does not carry a tall option for women, but they do for men. The overall fit of the jacket is ok, but I feel as though the jacket runs a bit small around the armpits. In addition, I feel like the sleeves are a bit short which makes the functionality of the thumbholes essentially rendered useless. I wasn't really warm in this jacket in temperatures under 30 degrees and had to layer with it...making the armpits even tighter fit on the jacket. This jacket is more of a light jacket for a trail hike than a jacket that will keep you warm in colder conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket If you are busty then I would recommend sizing up but other than that I love this jacket. It’s not too thick and you can move around easily unlike most winter coats. Very warm and love the thumb holes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Jacket I am very pleased with this lightweight winter coat. It fit perfectly. It arrived as expected. It is a great "go to" for running errands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coat It is a well made coat just a lot lighter than i expected. I thought it would be much puffier and it is flat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best winter jacket This is seriously the best winter jacket. I’ve been wearing it since it was delivered. It does the job of keeping you warm and dry. The OmniHeat is amazing! The comfort cuffs keep your wrists from being exposed to the elements, whether you use the thumb hole or not. It’s super light weight and not at all bulky. The pockets keep your hands warm without wearing gloves. I live in the South, so take my “winter story” with a grain of salt. It’s been snowing (4 inches) and about 20 degrees. I’ve taken my dog out on 3 miles walks and actually had to unzip the jacket because I was so warm. That’s a first for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Got this in last week and just in time! I love it so much! So comfortable and soft and keeps the wind off and keeps me warm. I also love that it has a hood, that is a feature that I really like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect to run errands I’m very happy with this as my everyday jacket. Although I marked true to size; I would say it might be just snug in the arms. I’m 5’ 4” and weigh 116. I wear a small this jacket is a small. It fits and looks nice. If your busty or any bigger buy a medium. This coat worked for me in a heavy rain. It kept me dry. It cuts the wind nicely. It’s very light weight and that makes it very easy to wear and comfortable. It is warm enough to do errands in. I have not tested it as an active wearable. The color is great. I live in Ct an have worn it out on 20 degree days. It kept me comfortable but I was not out long. From car to store etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Function over form This jacket survived a multi-day, multi-terrain, multi-weather hike in Patagonia. Kept me warm while hiking in freezing & windy weather, and breathability is fantastic(never had to take it off to "vent"), although it did get warm around the pits quickly-would have been nice to have zipped vents around the armpit/chest area like most jackets from higher-end outdoorwear brands like Marmot & Patagonia. Only thing I didn't like is the "poofy" area around the lower abdomen, makes one look a bit bulky in that area when the jacket is fully zipped. The "bulge" may not be as obvious if you get the jacket in black. I got the blue one and it does seem shinier in person and in photos. Totally an aesthetic concern, but I like to look good in my hike pictures :) But overall, this is a pretty good buy! I am 120lbs, 5'4" and got the small size. See photo for wear reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, high quality product This jacket is perfect and was just what I was looking for. Didn’t need anything too bulky since Louisiana doesn’t get that cold typically, but on days that it gets between 15 to 20 degrees I needed something warm enough. This jacket keeps me warm on typically cold days and I can fit a thin sweater underneath on days that are unusually cold. I got purple (geaux Tigers) and I love the color! I’m 5’ 6” 135lbs with a large chest and ordered a small. Also, the fabric is such good quality that my dogs’ nails don’t tear it when they jump on me.
Date published: 2018-01-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the color! I love the color of the coat! It fits me pretty well. It is tight at the bottom only. Also I thought it was going to be heavier than what it was for the price. I called/emailed for price adjustment and they do not do that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat I have been looking for a warm coat that isn’t bulky and I found it. I am very happy with this coat. I love the sleeves with the thumb holes so that cold air does not go up my arms. I like having a hood that I can just flip up to protect me when I’m sweeping the snow off my car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women’s mighty lite Love this jacket, more like a coat. Fits perfectly and doesn’t make me all hot and sweaty. Great for 20*-60* weather
Date published: 2017-12-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit too small I usually wear medium and ordered a large in this jacket so I would have some extra room. It fit pretty tight in my breast/upper waist area. I was able to wear it but with extra layers it wouldn’t have zipped. I returned this item. Quality is good I was just dissapointed in size. I’ve had this jacket before I ever had children and it fit great, but it’s nkt very “mom” friendly or made for women with larger breasts

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit and looks great! Love how light this jacket is. Packs easily into a suitcase. I'm 5'9"and ordered a large so that I can layer underneath if needed. fits great, with just enough room to spare. Warm, despite how thin it is. If it's freezing cold then you'd want to layer underneath but overall very happy with my new jacket!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's alright I accidentally bought the same coat as I bought my 5 year old so we look like twins when we wear our coats. I thought for 130.00 the coat itself would be thicker and I'm not a fan of the sleeve bottoms. Its alright but not to thrilled with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So great, I bought 2 Finally! A puffy coat that doesn't make you look like a marshmallow! This coat is so flattering, comfy and warm. My mother loved mine so much that I got her one for Christmas and I will be getting myself another one in a different color! Washes well (I have washed mine 3 times now and hung to dry). Roomy enough in the sleeves that I can fit long sleeves or a light hoodie underneath. I am 5'9", 200lbs and purchased an XL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super warm I live in upstate Vermont, 7 miles from the Canadian border and it’s gets so cold! This jacket keeps me nice and toasty warm even on days that it’s 10° I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a nice light weight warm jacket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday jacket I am very happy with this jacket! I was hoping to find a lightweight jacket that would keep me warm and dry in the cool and wet fall weather of the Smoky Mountains. This jacket has been perfect for that purpose! It is great to throw on when running errands, going to school drop-off, and even on a hike in the nearby mountains. The fit is very true to size, and I love the extra hand-warming bit at the end of the sleeves. It is my new favorite outer layer!
Date published: 2017-11-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat! lightweight, but still warm even in 20-30 degree weather with high winds. Might want to wear a sweatshirt underneath when it gets to about 20 degrees and lower, but its great because its not bulky at all! I am 5'7" and about 160 pounds, and a medium fits great. the thumbholes are nice to have too.
Date published: 2017-11-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great choice I was worried that the jacket would be too thin, but it kept me fairly warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! I love this jacket. I've been looking for a good winter jacket and this one is perfect. It's light weight but extremely warm. The fit is really awesome and I love that the sleeves are long enough for my arms. I usually order a medium in jackets and the medium in this one was perfect. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it, and I get a lot of compliments. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone. Worth the price for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Rain Resistant Omni-heat Jacket I bought this jacket in a size bigger so that I could layer underneath and I prefer the longer arms/torso length. Nice soft jacket that does well at keeping me warm. Once it gets down to the single digits or if it's got a biting wind chill I'll definitely want to put on a Omni-tech Columbia shell. But with a good base layer, this jacket and a shell (insulated if needed) you'll be warm when the temps drop to sub zero. I love the water resistant shell and the thumb holes since my hands are always getting cold and this keeps the drafts from going up my arm. Also love that the hood cinches down.... which is a must in the rain or biting wind! Also love the Omni-heat... which you really notice when you are going for a good hike. Overall nice jacket... love the soft materials and hope the shell is stronger than it feels (its so soft and I dont want it to get torn on trees and such while hiking)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, Packable and Warm Bought a S, which is a slightly relaxed fit on me (5'7, 132 pounds, small size 34C, natural waist 28.5, hips 33.5). I am able to wear light sweaters and oxford shirts underneath without a problem. I wear this jacket in 20F to 40F weather and it keeps me nice and warm. It is very lightweight and packable. I like that the omni-heat material is not scratchy, and that the inner-lining around the upper back/neck has a soft fleece-like lining. I love the dusty purple color. I have an XS in this same jacket model, but without the hood, and it is much more fitted (only a tshirt or thin long sleeve underneath).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably light and warm When I first got the box in the mail, I thought there was a mistake because it was so light and small. This jacket is very light, but still very warm, and water beads off of it just like in the video. I can use it as a rain jacket in the fall/spring or as a winter jacket. And it's flattering to my hips! Love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This coat is awesome I'm a loyal Columbia customer , I only but coats from this website. This coat is thin yet very warm . I love the color , comfort and thumb holes on the sleeves. No other company offers the Omni shield protection , I won't buy a coat without it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coat review I ordered a larger size because one of the reviews said it ran small. Unfortunately the cost is s little too big for me. A medium would have been much better so I'd say it runs true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Warm! I am super pleased with the quality of this jacket. I bought it to hike Mt. Fuji in Japan and I was worried it would not be warm enough. At the top of the mountain, there was a rainy storm, and this jacket kept my upper body very warm! The material around your hands is nice when it is dry, but once it gets wet, it takes a while to dry. Overall, I love this coat. The medium fit true to size. I am 5'6 and weight 140 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I was Looking For I wear this jacket in Oregon winters, and at the coast. It keeps the wind from cutting through, is light enough for me to be active in it, and keeps me dry. It's very easy to pack since it's so light and easily compresses into any backpack or suitcase. I can wear this jacket over anything, but on colder days I'll layer it with a fleece sweater. I ordered an xs and it has a little extra room, but still fits nicely. I don't mind it since I like to layer.
