I ordered a XXL as I wanted to wear layers underneath it. I probably could have gone an XL but again it is very comfortable, flexible and warm. We live in Vegas and it keeps me warm on our 30 degree (F) nights but it also works with a lighter shirt on our 80 degree (F) days to help keep the sun off.

It's perfect for wearing under my winter coat, and I know it will be great alone for spring days. The thumb holes seem to be weirdly positioned (too far up the sleeve), but since I rarely ever even think to use that feature, it's certainly not a dealbreak for me. I bought Aqua Haze and am seriously considering going back for the Rich Wine color.

This one is perfect. I like that the sleeves are a tad long with the thumb holes. The overall fit is comfortable without being snug.
