Rated 5 out of 5 by Grovemontjanet from The perfect jacket This jacket has everything. I used it for a trip in April - the weather was cool and rainy. It kept me dry and comfortable and looks fabulous. Easy to carry in a backpack or tote bag. Many nice little touches like a drawstring in the hood. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KitKat53 from Great waterproof layer! I got this jacket a couple weeks ago, and although I’ve only worn it once, it seems great! Fits true to size, and is so lightweight. I haven’t ever worn a rain jacket that isn’t lined, so that took some getting used to, but it seems fine when layered. I doubt I’ll be able to wear this jacket if it’s warm, as it definitely builds up condensation on the inside, but I have other things I can wear for that. I also wish the belt was removable, but so far it hasn’t bothered me too much. Just wish the belt was longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wilson from A little short I’m almost 5’10” and true to one of the other reviews this trench is more like raincoat length than trench coat length. It reaches JUST long enough on the arms and covers my butt and definitely does it’s job on keeping me dry. I did order up to the 1x as true to Columbia’s jacket sizing this needs you to order a size up to fit well. It does have many adjustments and everything is made well. The belt is attached in back so it doesn’t slide out and you can’t tie it on one side or the other- you’re kind of stuck with it where it is with two shorter equal belt pieces, which isn’t my preference but works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deb404 from Great Rain Jacket I bought this Jacket because I wanted the longer length for greater rain coverage. It fits true to size. I like the color, the belt at the waist and the hood which came in handy in the pouring rain. In Michigan you have to be prepared for any kind of weather. This jacket was a good choice for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jess80 from Nice Jacket I purchased this jack to have a light weight neutral color jacket for spring & fall. I like the style and fit, but I just wish is had some type of light lining in it. I'm not a fan on the inside of it and expected more. Hoping its durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lacy from Recommend I love my rain trench! I wear it during all seasons as needed! I travel often and it rolls up nice to fit in a backpack. I wish the inside was softer, and my zipper occasionally gets stuck. Recommend for anyone looking for a light weight hooded jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MoeMoeMo from Good Rain Jacket for women I love my new rain jacket. That it covers my back side is the best thing about it. Shorter jackets not parka length can drip water onto you. This provides good coverage all around, keeping you dry. I did not need the waist ties and cut them off. It looks fine after doing that. I can wear a fleece under it with no fitting issue. The hood also provides good head coverage. Great deal for the price paid and I know I will stay dry. Cant ask for much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CFurqan from Rain coat I had so many people come up to me say that I had a cute jacket.I also was informed by my children just how good I looked in this coat, when I worn it on a rainy day. It kept me nice and dry and warm. I plan to buy my Daughter one too. I feel she would really like this coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by charwal from Better than the other reviews made me think For a similar price, it is difficult to find a good quality plus size rain jacket. I decided to try this one for its reasonable price point compared to the competitors. I was worried after reading the other reviews, but as a savvy outdoors-woman, I knew this was a SHELL coat, which means that if you don't layer under it, you may get the sensation of cold/wet transfer to your skin. Overall, water beads on the surface of this coat and doesn't appear to soak through, although I haven't yet tried it in prolonged wet weather. The zipper on mine was perfectly good (some reviewers thought it was hard to do up, but it's really not) and the double zipper is great for undoing from the bottom up to allow for more comfortable wear while sitting (in a car, for example) or to keep the coat unzipped but not windblown. The size was a bit larger than I anticipated (2X fit me easily with room for a fairly bulky sweater underneath - I wear a size 20 top and bottom). And I had actually looked at the sizing measurements and measured myself. I was on the cusp of 1X and 2X so I ordered the larger size to allow for a sweater layer for cooler weather. If I intend to be out in the rain for a very prolonged time, I might toss a small poncho in my bag for extra protection, but again, I haven't yet tried this coat out in the pouring rain for very long. The back vent is fantastic for allowing air flow - although armpit vents would be make this a better hiking coat. I love the colour (red/coral) and the waistbelt helps define my waist instead of normal plus size coats which just hang and make me look round. Overall - a very good review. I can't wait to bring this on my trip to Scotland this summer where it will be truly battle tested in the rain and I will post a follow up review after standing out in some pouring rain. Rated 4 out of 5 by Christal from Great shape, not breathable The shape is great and has a nice professional and feminine cut. It is nice and lightweight but I really wish it was fully lined like the Arcadia. It is not breathable and you end up pretty damp inside if you do any sort of physical activity. Great for wearing to work, but definitely a no go for hiking. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by mumsomedays from Ruby Red Pardon My Trench While the jacket is probably great at doing what it's supposed to do....I returned it. It stated it was a "ruby red" - it's PINK. Very pink. (Placed it next to many different red clothing items and it's not even close) So if you like pink(and there is nothing wrong with pink), then this would be a lovely choice for you! If you wanted red, then this is not the colour for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda21 from My daughter LOVED her new coat! Our daughter and her family moved to Seattle Washington. So we bought the perfect Seattle Christmas presents, rain coats. Both our daughter and son-in-law were extremely happy with the fit and quality of their new rain coats. They found the coats to be light weight, water resistant and warm without being too hot. Our daughter was so excited to have a bright spring like colored coat for Seattle's grey rainy days. Over all we could not be more pleased with my purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by stuckinmyhead from Not Great For a raincoat, this does very poorly. Naturally, I expect rainy weather to be miserable, but this jacket was supposed to keep me from getting wet. The first time I wore it and my inner jacket was moist, I just thought that I left the jacket unzippered too much. The second time that I wore it, my arms were soaked. I will be returning it this weekend. The price would be reasonable if it did what it was supposed to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by fadingendlessly from rain jacket ran a bit larger than i expected, and the material was a lot stiffer than i was looking for. it was sort of an uncomfortable fabric, but i suppose it would be light and useful if you were out in the pouring rain. ultimately i returned this product, but i'm sure it would work well as a rain coat, just not what i was looking for particularly.
