Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Expedition Clothing I bought these pants for crossing the Atlantic in a Sailboat, they were the best, comfortable, dries fast, cool, I got home and ordered another pair. I am an apple shape, I have smaller hips and a bigger waist, and pants that fit me in the waist are usually too big in the hips and butt , these were not, so I would say they are a slim in the hip fit, for those of you that are a little hippier, than me, I'm a 5'2" 133 lbs woman, I bought the size 10, and hemmed the bottom two hem lengths and they are perfect, I hope this helps

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I wanted I really wanted to love these pants! I ordered a bigger size than my regular size but they were still too tight. They fit tight through the waist, hips, and thighs, but way too baggy on the bottom. There was too much material to roll up into the capris. I had to return them and will try to order a different style from Columbia.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not stretchy The fabric is not stretchy so not a good choice for hiking/exercising.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great featue It fits well I love how light weight it is and the amount of pockets on it exactly what I need for work. Great product love everything about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for bicycling I've been wearing these pants for several years for bicycling around town although they are never marketed for this purpose. You can roll up the leg when you're riding and roll it down again when you get to your destination and want to look respectable. That can be particularly useful if you are bike touring and stop to visit buildings such as cathedrals. I have had no complaints about them in general. The most recent pair, however, was missing the snap on the leg. The snap on the tab was there, but the one on the leg was missing. I also use them for hiking, and they dry extremely quickly. They can be a bit hot in warm weather. I wish they were cut a little higher in the back because I often bend over when I am wearing them. There is a zipper pocket on the left leg that is perfect for a phone, wallet or similar item that you might not want in a back pocket while hiking or biking. I am 5'6" and carrying some extra weight, so I wear a size 12; these are slightly too long for me unless I'm wearing heavy duty hikers. If you wear a size 12 because of your height rather than your weight, they will probably fit fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Women's Aruba Roll-up pants These pants run small, hopefully they will not shrink in the wash.
Date published: 2018-05-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent sizing I ordered a black pair and a navy pair. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and ordered them both one size up from my usual Columbia size. The black pair fits well, maybe a tad bit large but as they do not stretch I wouldn’t want a smaller size. The navy however is very tight and is not even close to the same size as the black ones. It’s fruatrating to order the same pants in different colors and have them fit so differently. It makes me hesitate to buy more pants from Columbia in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird So strange! Ordered the same pants but in convertible and somehow the roll up pants don't fit...
Date published: 2018-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit Love the lightweight material. Fits below waist and stays up well.
Date published: 2018-05-07
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small Pants run small. I ordered a larger size 12 vs. 10 upon reading reviews before buying however still tighter than I like for leisure activities. Rise length seems odd. Sits below waist but crotch seam feels short??? I like Columbia products-Haven’t had this in other Columbia pants. Wish pants had snaps instead a button above zipper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect I ordered the light green pair on sale in an attempt to replace my GRT convertible pants that I bought back in 2006 and which are slowly disintegrating after 11 summers of hard work in the archaeological field. I've tried multiple Columbia pants in the last few years, trying to find something as great as the GRT material, and it's been rough. This is the closest I've found. The "Silver Ridge" pants are too stiff and cut off circulation when kneeling to dig, though of a sturdy fabric (the fabric just feels "ick" to me). The "Just Right" pants are too flimsy a material for working with rocks and dirt on your knees (though great for traveling around). I finally decided to try the PFG fishing line! The material is light and comfortable, lighter than Silver Ridge, and yet seems sturdily constructed. There's enough give in the fabric for comfortable kneeling, and the length and general fit are perfect (I'm 5'6", 125 lbs). I have previously ordered 2 or 4 in Columbia pants but I paid attention to reviews and the sizing chart and ordered a 6 and it fits perfectly (28" waist). The only reason I give these pants 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I bend my knees, the material is pulled taut across the rear and everything becomes visible (underwear lines), which is not an issue with the GRT. If you're in the USA or Europe, not a big deal. In the more conservative Middle East, big problem. I hope my shirts will be long enough to cover this issue while kneeling. It's not an issue at all while standing. I guess I'll just keep trying. But I really wish Columbia would bring back the GRT!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Call CS for delailed sizing Great pant, if you like a short vamp ( waist band hits below bellybutton). Unfortunately for my shape, ( waist 10" smaller than hips) the sizing did not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great funtional Pant I bought these pants in my regular size for jeans, I should have ordered a size bigger. For this style I like them to fit less snug. I exchanged for the bigger size and its perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these pants! These pants are very comfortable. They run a little small in the thighs, but can't wait to try them out fishing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants I love these pants so comfortable !! Light weight and have the option to be Capri or pants would buy again
Date published: 2017-10-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from More pockets, please! Love these pants! Fit is nice and comfy. Light and dries quickly. The only 'complaint' I have is the lack of pockets. It would be nice to have back pockets and maybe another on the right leg. I really use pockets when I'm hiking/camping, etc.
Date published: 2017-10-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good outdoors wear I love how the material feels and it is very comfortable. I work outside everyday and this clothing line provide real comfort and keeps me dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants! These pants are great for fishing, hiking, and anything that might involve water. Super water repellent and are true to size? I love that you can roll them up for wading in water.
Date published: 2017-09-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! The Colombia pants fit like a dream and they are true to size! Go with the size bigger if you are inbetween two sizes of pants and you will be happy!
Date published: 2017-09-23
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for the muscular I'm 5'1" and 108lbs with a muscular build. These pants fit great everywhere but my thighs, they're almost too tight. I usually like a little more wiggle room, next time I see this fit I'll order a size up and use a belt.
Date published: 2017-07-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent quality I have three pairs of these pants and practically live in them during the warm weather. Light, breathable and cool. I especially like the zippered pocket on the leg. Just wish there were two back pockets instead of one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great summer pant Very comfortable and like the lower waist set. Great for hot or wet weather!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these pants! This is my 2nd pair. I love them - very comfortable and great for traveling. Like that they can be rolled up to capri length if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I expected Great quality, light material for hot days, and perfect fit! Love them! This is my 3rd pair different color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from flexible lightweight drip dry pant Flexible and lightweight fabric that drips dry, this pant not only looks great on, but functions well. Great for traveling and outdoor activities. I Love this pant for summer season. It took me a few tries to get the right size, I had to order this one full size larger than my usual size. However, it was worth the effort.
Date published: 2017-06-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Succes at last!!! They fit perfectly and love the weight of the fabric. Perfect for Florida weather. Definitively will order more!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No stretch to fabric and runs a little small Nice light fabric but no stretch and runs a little small. Also, no short available so have to hem.
Date published: 2017-06-26
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very small I ordered my usual size even after reading the reviews (my mistake). Could barely get them buttoned. Will probably have to order two sizes up in the future.
Date published: 2017-06-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these pants I own 4 pairs of these pants. They are very comfortable, I work in a factory with no air conditioning, these pants are light weight and comfortable. they do run small but I ordered a size bigger than normal, I am going to order another pair.
Date published: 2017-06-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Pant Ordered these because I needed SPF pants. I put them on for the first time yesterday - they are like so soft and comfortable. It's ridiculously hot & humid here - and they held up in the heat beautifully. Looking forward to a trip soon and I cannot wait to wear them then. Buying another pair today! (For reference: I'm 5'3", 140, mid-40's hour-glass shaped.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great pant, runs small I ordered two pairs of these pants for my friend who has a leg brace. They work great! She was pleased that they were light weight for summer but would cover the brace with enough room in the calf area. She is very happy with these pants. We had to return the size 10 and order size 12 since the size she regularly wears were a tad too tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Columbia has outdone themselves again with an excellent lightweight womens pant.
Date published: 2017-06-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crisp, Classic and Convenient! Nice classic pants with convenient roll-up legs! Ordered these for an upcoming summer trip to Romania, where I'll be packing for 10 days into just a carry on. My criteria for travel clothing is versatility, packability, and comfortability. These pants fit the first two points, but not the third. The Aruba pants are extremely versatile with the roll-up feature that quickly turns them into capris. The fabric is crisp and resist wrinkles yet easily packs into a small space. I just didn't find the pants very comfortable since the fabric has no stretch to it. I really wanted to love these pants, but decided to send them back and go with a style made with stretchy fabric. The Aruba pants run on the small side. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs measuring 39.5" in the hips. According to the size chart, a size 8 should fit, but it was so small the fasteners at the waist didn't even meet, leaving a gap of 1.5". I reordered the pants in size 10. The size 10 fit fine, but had no give, so I decided to order the Just Right Capris II after loving the fit of the Just Right Skort!
Date published: 2017-06-10
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the Pants but.......they ripped I like the overall fit and functionality of these pants, HOWEVER after one wear the same on the back ripped above the pocket. Maybe I just got a faulty pair as Columbia usually lasts for me.
Date published: 2017-06-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight pants These pants are so comfortable to wear in hot and humid South Florida. The bugs on the beach can be really pesty during the night hours and regular pants are too heavy to wear in our climate.
Date published: 2017-06-06
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small I ordered these in a size 8, I am normally a size 6 but the other reviews said they were small so I figured a size up would be OK. Nope! Button wouldn't even think about closing! Returned and ordered a 10... we'll see. The material seemed satisfactory and I liked the snap closure for the leg roll as opposed to the buttons. I hope the 10 fits!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aruba pants These pants are great for outdoor activities where you need to protect your skin from sun, bugs, or things like poison ivy. They protect you and keep you comfortable.
Date published: 2017-05-26
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small Very nice fabric, with versatile leg length. Especially good for this older camper. Ordered a size 10 and had to return for larger size. Like the cargo pocket
Date published: 2017-05-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice pants The pants are very nice, but beware that you can see through the fossil color.
Date published: 2017-05-02
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed with fit I loved the color, but unfortunately they did not fit as expected. I even bought a size up hoping for a little extra room, but these pants were too tight in the thigh and had very little stretch to them. I had to return them and get something that would move with me. The description said "regular" fit, but these did not fit the same as my other "regular" fit pants. Disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These pants are comfortable and versatile I wear these pants for work or hiking.
Date published: 2017-04-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from PFG Pant Columbia clothing difficult to find the right size to fit. One size too small, going up a size then item is too large. I didn't expect to have a problem with regular women's sizing options.
Date published: 2017-02-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from love these! I bought these for hiking and zip-lining in the rain forest. They were perfect! Quick drying and very lightweight and comfortable. I think they ran a little small, but fit me perfect.
Date published: 2017-02-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizes don't match between colors The blue color is a completely different sizing scale. I purchased a 4 in blue and is the same size as a 2 in black I purchased last year. The 4 I purchased in black fits perfectly, unlike the blue.
Date published: 2017-01-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Thought these were going to be the perfect pant for me. I've generally had good luck with the fit of Columbia Gear pants but these were an odd fit for me - very loose in the leg, snug in the waist with a very short length from waist to croch. Sadly I had to return both pair that I purchased.
Date published: 2016-12-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Pants, But Way Too Small I normally wear a 2 and the size 2 in Columbia's convertible pants fit fine, but when these arrived they were way too small. They were so small, that it wasn't even close to be able to button or zip them up. Too bad, because I actually liked the color, fabric, and style. Good adventure travel pants. Will try to exchange them at a Columbia store.
Date published: 2016-12-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good pants, but run small First, these pants seem to be designed for women with straight hips (like myself). If you are blessed with curves, these pants may not work well for you. Additionally, the sizing of these pants seems somewhat smaller than other Columbia pants/shorts. I’m 5’5”, 120 pounds, and consistently wear Columbia size 2. However, these pants were too snug in the waist and thighs in size 2. I reordered size 4 and I love these pants so much so that I now have two colors; navy and sage (which is dark khaki). The thigh pocket is generously sized and will accommodate my cell phone. The only cons are that the hand pockets are a bit small/ shallow and the waist could use two more belt loops at the hips.
Date published: 2016-12-07
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small Most of the reviews on these pants say they are too small. Why don't they adjust this problem after all these same reviews? I ordered 1 size larger than I normally wear and could not even get the button closed!
