Rated 2 out of 5 by Likes2hike from Waterproof, but not comfortable! I so wanted to love these boots. They are cute, with the pink accents to give them a little feminine touch. They felt good enough when I tried them on and during a brief period of time walking around the house to test them out. When the time came to put them to use, I found that my feet quickly became sore and uncomfortable in them. I don't usually have trouble with shoes, so this was a bit of a surprise. I decided to give them another chance, thinking maybe there was a little break in required. My next hike in them proved that something is just not quite right with them, as my feet started aching halfway through the hike. By the end, I couldn't get out of them fast enough! I did get a chance to test out how waterproof they are and found that to be agreeable, but comfort is of prime importance with hiking boots and these let me down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by FOCOgirl from Not what I expected I ordered these online and was very disappointed in the product. I read the reviews and chose to go a whole size up like everyone mentioned. The size up actually worked out but the boots were really uncomfortable. No cushion or support in the sole, and my feet felt like they could move around pretty easily in the boots, even though the length for my feet was perfect. I didn't feel like I had that great of ankle support either. That being said these boots are on the way back to the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by avlhiker from Great hiking shoes, but size up This is the second pair of these hiking shoes I have had and the first was wonderful. Like all Columbia hiking shoes they have been sturdy and attractive. Unfortunately, this pair seems almost to have been missized. They were both too short and too narrow. All the other Columbia hiking footwear I have has been size 6. This pair is a mystery. I returned them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MaggieDiamond from Redmond waterproof hikers I bought these boots on the recommendation of my sister. I'm going hiking in Scotland, where it's not known for dry weather. I purchase dthem 2 months ago and have maybe worn them 4 times, I'm goin g to scotland in 3 weeks. They were comfortable right away with no need for breaking in. Today it was raining so i thought id better see if they stand up to their claim of being waterproof. I started walking through wet grass and had the sensation of the top of my foot getting damp but I wasn't quite sure, anyways after more walking and purposely putting my feet in a few puddles I knew that the one side was getting wet. Not soaking but Dampish. I proved this when I went home and put a papertowl in the shoe. It was definitely wet. This is a real drag as I'm going to Scotland in 3 weeks and what's the odds of getting new boots in time. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by FinisterraKeri from Great for the West Coast! I love these hiking boots! They are comfy, waterproof, and didn't take any time to break-in. They are ideal for enjoying the beautiful (albeit wet) West Coast of Canada. I bought a full size larger than what I normally buy as I'd read the reviews. Highly recommend! Rated 2 out of 5 by LeahS from Odd wear I purchased these trail boots for summer use and only for dry conditions. The fit is great the support is great. The flaw was a major failure of the stitching and rubberized toe cap of one shoe so much so it is not going to last this summer. I am very disappointed in this poor quality and am trying to find some way to replace these. I love Columbia clothing and footwear. Very disappointed in this one. I walk 1-2 miles each day over bush trails and rock. Nothing extraordinary. I live in the bush but only use these boots for my daily walk. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Irvingirl from Great boots but not for me When I received the boots I was super excited. I read other reviews stating that the boots ran small so I order a size up-the 7.5. Well when it arrived and I tried it, the boots were smaller than I expected. My right foot was pushed to the tip of the shoe. In reality I should have purchased an 8. My advice with this shoe would be to purchase a whole shoe size larger-not half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woodnymph from Best hiking boots purchased to date I wore these boots every day for 3 weeks while hiking in Europe and will wear them again during my next trip, next month. They are light weight and very comfortable. I would recommend buying one size larger than normal because the boots are made a bit small. I normally wear a 7.5 and bought an 8.5. The reviews provided that priceless info. Fantastic boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CarrieVH from Really waterproof and good traction My right is a bit wider than my left, so the right boot was a bit tight to begin with. But now after a couple weeks of wearing/walking the dog, they are comfortable. Truly waterproof and the grip is excellent.
