Rated 4 out of 5 by Teody78 from Perfect FOR trekking Althougt I’ m a 14, size 12 is perfect. I love the buttons wich allow me to choose my weist line. Very warm and practical. Perfect used with merino underpants for a 15 km trekking on -10 degrees Celsius. Works well enough even on -15 -20. I don’ t give 5/5 only because of the leg pocket witch is a Little discomforting. Rated 5 out of 5 by SandyL from Comfort and Warmth I ordered these lined Saturday Trail pant as this is my favorite style pant but needed something warmer for the snowy/cold weather. These came just in time and are so incredibly comfortable that I wore them all week at work. Love the elastic adjustable waist band in the back and that they're not snug in the thighs. Got a great deal on these during the sale! Love them. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cece20 from Very comfortable, cozy, and nice fit. I received the pants quickly and immediately liked what I saw....color and style. I especially like the adjustment capability of the waist band. The size runs as indicated in the published measures. The only issue was a problem with one of the two closure snaps; it doesn't tightly snap. However, this was not a big enough problem for me to return and exchange the pants. There are lots of features I like, and warmth and elasticity are the top two for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lardeelion from Love them like my children Of all the pants in all the wide world, these are my most beloved. I'm one of those always-cold people, and yet I'm always outdoors. This is the first pair of pants I've ever had with which I did not have to don long underwear. I often do, but I don't always have to, depending on the temperature. I have literally never had cold legs while wearing these pants. After a few washes, they're incredibly soft, and while hiking yesterday in a 20mph wind, I was delighted (after a full year) to discover they're wind-proof. The pants are not form-fitting; they fit rather loosely and don't necessarily flatter the figure. However, what they lack in style they more than make up for in warmth. I'm also glad for the elastic, adjustable waistband, as I have put on some winter bulk this year that wasn't present last year. Truly, I adore these pants and would legally adopt them and raise them as my own if it wouldn't brand me a weirdo in social circles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Madeira from Wonderful pants I think these pants are the best thing I've ever bought for winter. I just came back from winter Iceland and they served perfectly, I never felt cold. I am actually thinking of getting another pair

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christine from Women’s Saturday Trail™ II Stretch Lined Pant I love these pants. I read the reviews and would agree that the snap closure isn't the best. I carefully inspected my pants and find that the lower snap isn't lined up properly and won't stay closed. That being said, for me the upper snap if fine and that is the one I need. The pants are so soft on the inside and really do keep you warm (especially on these freezing days). I am a big fan of Columbia pants but I admit I usually wait for sales. Rated 4 out of 5 by katiefrommpls from Love pants but Columbia needs to redesign snaps I love these pants for being outside in the cold- they are extremely warm, durable and functional. The petite size fits perfectly. Only problem- and this seems to be true for whatever style Columbia pants I wear- even though the waistband is loose, the snaps will randomly come undone, which can be embarrassing if in public. The snaps don't really snap, they just sort of barely hold together without any tension. I have the exact same problem with my Columbia hiking capris. Wish Columbia would invest in more secure snaps, otherwise, perfect pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adventuress1 from Saturday Trail II lined pants I love these Omni heat pants! They run true to size—I am a solid size 8—5’6” & 135#. Athletic build—muscular thighs & calves. They are wonderfully warm with no layering needed, the omniheat lining is comfortable next to the skin. I have hiked all day in these on ski vacations—they have great flexibility for stretching & climbing. Warmth factor, I would say down to 20 degrees F. I have 2 pair of size 8’s & 2 pair of size 10’s in case the weather is colder & I want to add a base layer underneath. The only way Columbia could make these better for me would be to make the rise higher. They fit mid rise on me, & you have to tuck in a long base layer top, or you’ll get a chilly back. Also would be helpful to have some kind of adjustment inside the wasteband to cinch them in a bit if needed. Overall—great pants!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HerbGirl from Oh Comfort! I tried these pants on the moment they arrived and they felt so good I didn't want to take them off! Am happy to wear them every day and am ordering a 2nd pair. The pant lining is so soft and lush. I like the brushed soft fabric that lines the waistband and pockets. Was pleasantly surprised to find there is a waistband size adjuster in the back of the waistband--and it still maintains the flat appearance of the waistband when tightened to make the waistband a bit snugger. I found these pants to fit perfectly--a bit roomy but so comfy as a result-- but still have room for the lightest underlayer if ever needed. The snaps on my waistband have stayed snapped, I'm happy to say! I just love these pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pelhampaddler from Comfort and Style Love these pants, so comfortable, warm and stylish. Have just worn them once but know that they will be my favourite, my “go to” for those cooler outdoor activities. Recommended them to my friends who noticed them that one time that I wore them. Rated 5 out of 5 by SleeY from Warm Just what I was looking for. I wanted a pair of warm lined pants for hiking on cold days. But not wanting ski pants. So these pants are perfect and comfortable. I wear a 4 or 6 and choose the 6. They are a better fit for activity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carol44 from Winter Favorite This is the 5th pair I have purchased. Have them in several sizes. This last pair, in a new gray color, is a tad too snug. But I love the style, and the Omni heat lining makes for a very comfortable wear. I will continue to wear them in the cold weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lou301 from Perfect for me except... The lined trail pants look great. The leg width is perfect for me. Narrow enough to be flattering and large enough for my "large for my size" calves. The lining is softer than I expected and warm. The only downside (and something many reviewers have mentioned) is the snaps. They won't stay snapped. I think I solved the problem by adding a large hook and eye to relieve the pressure on the snaps. They still tend to come open, but at least the waist is secure. I will buy another pair when the snap problem is solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deedlit from favorite winter pants I just purchased my second pair of these. I love that they are lined and are awesome for winter walks. lining is very comfy. and does not add extra bulk to your look. They are very very comfortable. If there were more colors I would buy more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by skiergalsal from These pants have an issue I love these pants for everyday wear in my mountain home. However 2/3 pairs I have ordered have this issue. The snaps at the waistband pop open extremely easily. Otherwise these pants are warm and comfy and I would have given them 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dejavous from Versatile pants Good quality and comfortable fit. They are warm when walking the dog but also suitable for running errands in town. Only drawback is the fabric does attract lint and animal fur.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dthoma19 from Great cold weather pants Just hiked several miles in these in 20 degrees F, very windy, no base layer, and they performed very well. My legs weren't even chilly. I'm a standard size 6 with thighs slightly on the more muscular side, and their size 6 fit well. I didn't feel constricted at all. The only thing I don't care for is that they snap-button shut. I'd have preferred hooks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cashew88 from Great trail pants, awful fastener I live in Alaska and these pants are soft and comfy for chilly morning walks. I sized up so I could wear thermals or leggings underneath (they’re great with and without). The reason for the 2-star review is for the ridiculous double snap-button fastener. These pants aren’t tight at all, but if I take a deep breath or bend over, I hear the buttons unsnap. It’s like a bad game of how long they’ll stay secured and I feel like a weirdo messing with the fastener all day in public. Despite the warmth and coziness, I’d definitely return them if I could.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CKimD from Amazing lined pants These lined trail pants for women are the greatest! I wear them every time they’re clean & it's my day off. Fit true to size, comfy & warm without being bulky. Love the fit of Columbia pants. So worth the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by FallonButt from Double Button Nono The pants are comfortable and so warm! I really liked how they felt when they were on, and was sad to have to return them. I returned them because these pants have two small snap buttons to keep them closed, but these didn't work well for me. I made the suggestion that they avoid the double button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nats from Cold weather Must Have I have a number of OmniHeat jackets which is very good for wither activities. This pants compliments the jackets but even better, is easy to move in. I get the warmth and wetness protection of a snow pants without the bulkiness. Highly recommend this pants to anyone who hikes or does any winter sports. You may just need a liner for extreme cold. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pat26 from Well Made I bought these lined pants for traveling. Although I have not used them yet, they are very well made. I am 5’5”, 135 lbs with a not-so-small waist and long legs. I normally wear a size 8 or 10. I purchased size 10 and they fit perfectly, including being long enough. I also like the hidden elastic waist for comfort. I have other Omni heat clothing pieces and they work well in keeping you warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SeattleToast from Omni-love I love the omniheat clothing line and these pants do not disappoint. They are lightweight and warm. I am 5'11" and the 32" inseam is just barely long enough. Otherwise, no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chellsha from Good material I’m 5’5” and 135lbs. I usually wear a size 4-8 depending on the cut. I have a small waiste but my butt, thighs, and hips are not small. I ordered a size 8 and the fit is good, there is bit of extra room in the waist and I probably could have ordered a size 6, but I like the extra room for my thighs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BBar from Different, but warm At first I thought the inside of these pants felt strange, but I got used to it and then liked the warmth without being too thick like some lined pants. Unfortunately, the size 4 is too large and there are no longer 2s available. I will try again next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AttaGirl from perfect for B.C. weather this is my 2nd pair of the Saturday Trail lined pants - if there were more colors, I would buy them too! All the features are fantastic (stretch, water repellent, adjustable waist, pockets, insulation) and the fit is great for those of us who are heavy in the thighs. They do 3-season dog walking duty in the wet but mild West Coast climate (the Omni Heat breathes well) and, when I put a pair of long underwear underneath, I have winter covered too. Highly recommend! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz3333 from Excellent pant for cold weather These pants are great for windy cold and snow. They really do reflect your body heat back to you, keeping you cozy even without an under layer. That said, it is difficult to fit leggings underneath as they sit pretty snug on your waist, but they are flattering that way as most warm pants are not. Tested again and again in Boston and Chicago winters, these are a hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DW5520 from Great cold weather pant! Love these light weight but warm pants. They have a little stretch to them and the Omni heat feature keeps you warm but overly hot. Fit is true to size. I am almost 5'3" and 125 lbs and size 4 fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Janet82 from Short but SWEET! I needed an easy-on pair of very warm weather pants to throw on for dog walks. I am a true size 10, typically get a 'tall' inseam. The overall fit it perfect, actually slimming. I was concerned they were too short, but realized I got these for cold, inclement weather in the mountains - so I'll be using my boots when I wear these. High quality construction & materials. I am addicted to Omni-Heat products which I also highly recommend (slip on boots, vest, base layer long sleeve (go up a size) and base layer pants. Thank you Columbia for really making me want to go outside, even when it's freezing cold, raining or snowing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anchmom from WAIST IS TOO BIG!! Nice pants, and the waist is adjustable, but even with it cinched all the way down, it was too loose. And, I am NOT a small waisted person - about average, really. 29 or 30 in waist, I think. It would be GREAT if someone out there made pants with a big enough butt/thighs without having to take in the waist. Sending these back

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leigh33 from Warm comfortable pants that look trim. These panrs provide excellent warmth, and since the lining is very thin, they don't look bulky when worn. The waistband was a perfect fit for me, but it also has an internal button adjustment that can make the waistband fit even tighter. There is also some slight gusseting around the knees that improve the fit. I wore these pants outside for over an hour while taking winter pictures when it was 2 degrees below zero. I never felt the cold. These have become my new favorite winter pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Newfita from Warm and comfy In reading the reviews I opted to size up when ordering. I’m 5’4” and 123 pounds. In most pants I would wear a 4, however having read previous reviews, I decided on the 6 for these particular pants and I am glad I did. These are fitted but with enough room to add a base layer for those cold days and still move comfortably. I’m a big fan of the omni heat reflective lining. I also have a light jacket that has this and I find it keeps the warmth in without the added bulk. I’m a happy shopper. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by FloGal from Great pants for wind I got these for upcoming trip to Yellowstone but find they are almost perfect for hiking in Oregon this time of year...just enough warmth and good wind and light rain protection. I did get soaked when I sat on wet ground though. Waist is large on me but it is adjustable so they are just what I need

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adqbear from Lined pants that work Saturday Trail pants with lining works for hiking in cool and cold weather of Alaska. Very comfortable and not bulky at all. Lightweight and warm enough for errands and checking out the beach.

Rated 2 out of 5 by greenjay from irregular size I bought the same Saturday Trail pants in 6 without heat lining, and it was snug, okay fine. These were over 1.5 inches wider (I measured) and so much roomier in the seat that they fell down while I was hiking! I mean down like hiphop pants. It's hard to see in this pic exactly how much larger overall this pant is than the other - the photo makes them look just slightly different, but they are MUCH. WIDER. There is a quality control problem or size inconsistency with this line of Columbia pants - these run LARGE. I explained the problem to customer service expecting the to send out a replacement asap and a prepaid ship label, and they said, "Sure you may return them and the label is $6, have a nice day." What? I had to write back again to get prepaid label since this is an irregular. Because of this I don't want to take a chance again - too much of a return hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PuppyCheerleader from Fabulously warm moveable pants!!! I adore these Omni-Heat lined pants! They are WARM!!! I wear them when the temps are in the 50s down to 30s on their own and add a base layer below the 30s. They keep me wonderfully warm without overheating. The stretch material is buttery soft and flexes with every movement. No bulky can't move all wrapped up feeling here! These pants are also rather stylish and presentable; they could be worn for outdoor play and then dressed up for dinner or social outings. The waist doesn't gap and the front side pockets are deep. Additional rare bonus: my Lab's fur brushes right off with my hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthwestGal from Classy warm pants First I love all the Saturday Trail pants, including these. They fit great and look nice, these included even with the warm layer. I haven't worn them a great deal but love them so far. I'm skeptical of the shiny material they are using for warmth, I hope it lasts many seasons. These insulated pants are a little dressier than most and you can't hardly tell you've got insulation, and a little stretch too. The first pair i received had a small sewing flaw and Columbia quickly and graciously got me a new pair and made the return really easy. Great customer service overall, nice to call a company and have a person answer right away.
