Rated 5 out of 5 by Cassady from Omni-heat Columbia outer wear my wife loves her Columbia omni-heat jacket and now loves her pants.very soft and comfortable she says...not bulky....wears them out in the cold to take care of our horses in this bitter cold weather. wishes there was a soft face mask made like them! Rated 5 out of 5 by hillwalker from comfortable Got these for COLD walks with my dog on winter mornings. Have worn them in teen temps and been quite comfortable. They don't feel warm in the sense of fleece pants, but really keep you from being cold, even in the wind. I'm 5 foot 3 inches, weight 116 and the 4 short fits very well. They are, as others have noted, a straight shape which works well for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dame from Warm and elegant Finally, a seriously warm pair of pants that pass for office wear. Stretchy enough to take Zumba class and sleek enough to go out dancing. Wishlist: more colors, longer length, higher waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TexasDragonLady from Perfect pants for winter golf Wore these pants playing golf on a light rainy day. Kept my legs dry and warm. Perfect pants to play golf in as they were not cumbersome and were very comfortable. Received a lot of compliments from my player partners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Michale from Saturday Trail Omni Heat reflective pants I like them, they are light weight and warm enough when I am out walking. They are very comfortable and look good on. They do run small but I know that to be true of the Columbia products. I am excited to see how warm I can be with long underwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MichiganGal from These are great pants Ordered a size up based on other reviews and had to send them back since they were too big. Even my regular Columbia size was a little loose and gives me room to wear a base layer if I want. The difference for me may be that I have a straight shape (large waist, small hips and rear). They are very comfortable with the stretch and nice and warm. Thanks for offering the shorter length. Thinking of ordering another pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KazG from Too large for me In reading the reviews, I ordered a size larger, but that was a mistake for me. I have a small waist so maybe that's why. But I could have even ordered a size smaller. I'm returning it and not re-ordering at a smaller size because I have a feeling it will be too tight in the legs and just right in the waist.

Rated 4 out of 5 by alligator52 from Nice pant, great concept I bought these pants to be worn primarily on all day outdoor trips in winter, for hiking mostly and in all kinds of weather. I saw other reviews stating they ran small, so I bumped up my size 10 to a 12. They fit pretty well, though not as big as I'd like so I can maneuver easily in woods and snow, or with a pair of long johns underneath. I'm not even sure if you're supposed to wear base layers with these since they're omni-heat, but I don't like to chance ever being cold. I've worn them once, about a full day in just below freezing temperatures and steady snowfall. I wore long johns underneath and was relatively warm but was unable to test the product's omni-heat capabilities fully since about midday I put fleece and rain pants over them because it started snowing heavily. I'd like to try them again when I'm closer to home, so I can determine how warm they would keep me and I could hurry back inside if necessary! I love the concept and ideally I'd love to be able to wear them without long johns so I'm not bulked up with so many layers. I have high hopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DawnT from Great pants, run small I was looking for something that would keep me warm enough to walk the dogs in the winter, but would also be water-repellant enough to cross-country ski in and these fit the ticket. I have worn them several times walking the dogs in low-teens weather with long underwear and they have been nice and toasty. I am glad I checked the reviews though because I do believe they run small. I have several pairs of the Saturday Trail capris, but after reading the reviews I ordered a size up on these and am glad I did. The thighs are pretty tight. I wish these pants had a little more stretch and an adjustable waist, but I am so glad they came in petite and love them enough that I can live without.

Rated 4 out of 5 by pat57 from Ski Pants Just wore them yesterday for cross country skiing. I was warm enough with just them, but the temp was in the upper 20s, don't know how they'll work on a colder day. The fit was a little funny, tight across the hips, but loose around the waist, so I might need to wear a belt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelle14 from Comfortable and Warm After owning an omni-fit jacket for a year I was hoping they would come out with pants that kept me just as warm and these are perfect! For me, the size was true to my normal size and I was surprised at how comfotable and soft these pants are. They are not bulky but keep my legs very warm. It is 25C degrees here today and I actaully wore them out for a jog and my legs were never cold. They were stretchy enough to run in. I go to lots of hockey games in cold ice areana and these will be perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Denni2 from I love them but..... I ordered one size up and I am glad I did. I would love to have more color choices. I have pets and the everything clings to these pants. I would love a drawstring, I am curvy and the pants gap at the waist. I will add myself. I love the way the fabric feels, if I had more colors I would wear them more often. I have to say these are really comfortable and I have only washed them twice but they wash well

Rated 3 out of 5 by mareena31 from Runs very small. Since I got these and I cannot get them on, I cannot give them a full review. I will say they look to be of excellent quality but without putting them through the rigors of use, I cannot say for sure. Totally bummed out as I now have a pair of $80 pants that I cannot use. My only hope is to drop a ton of weight over the next month or so I can squeeze in them. If you are hippy......DONT buy these. You need to be built like a guy to get in these. I bought the same size I wear in all my pants, couldn't even get them over my butt and hips. My guess is I will need to drop myself to a size 6 to get into these size 10 pants comfortably. I have other Omni heat clothing and love them. No you cannot walk outside in base layers only in the middle of freezing temps but I wear a ton less layers and bulk with the Omni heat clothing which is great for any sport/outdoor activity. Time for me to hit the gym so I can get a better review of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stanner from LOVE these pants i went out on a limb buying these pants for a camping trip. i thought it would be better to be safe than sorry as far as warmth went. of course, these pants lived up to the hype. i stayed dry & warm all weekend. plus, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of pants i've ever worn. however, they are a little big. i went by reviews saying they ran small - true to size, so i ordered an 8. i am more of a 6, so i have a lot of extra room in the waist. either way, i don't care. these pants are great!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by golfnut0405 from nice pant but not stretch...not at all very comfortable pant to stand in, hangs pretty well, outer shell kind of thin, and inner shell, while warm does not stretch. Wish I had tried to bend over in the change room, since I do a lot of bending at work. I noticed that it had no give when I bent to knee level. thought maybe I might split the back. Perhaps it needs just an inch more width in the hip and butt area.. It runs true to size for me and the cut was nice as many of Columbia pants stick out a lot in the back waist. these do not. Ill keep these because I threw the tag and receipt away, but I probably wouldn't purchase a second pair. I need more stretch because I am up and down all day at work, or they need a bit more give in the hip area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by naturephoto from Great pants I needed comfortable, good looking, versatile, and lightweight but warm pants for travel, which these pants are. The fit is perfect for me. They are so comfortable they will be replacing jeans much of the time, but look good enough to wear with dressier separates too. I will probably be ordering another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KaySea from Extremely comfortable! I got these pants for a 5 day island backpacking trip, where I wanted warmth without the extra bulk, and boy did these deliver! I saw other reviews saying that these run a bit small, so I ordered a size up, but given the stretch material they do loosen up a bit after wearing them (especially since I wore them off and on for a number of days). They were so comfortable to move around in, but also feel surprisingly durable and stood up to the rigors of my adventures. The Omni-Heat insides did a remarkable job of keeping me warm, which is still kind of hard to believe for such a light-weight pant. The conditions weren't extremely cold, so I didn't get a chance to test the limits of these pants, but it was very windy, and the wind didn't seem to penetrate them very well. I didn't do much of any hiking in them, as I imagine I would have heated up very quickly in them, but I used them for wandering around camp and walking around on the beach with a little bit of rock scrambling, so I did put in a few miles in them and tested their durability to a degree and was very happy with their quality. They also appear to have some degree of water resistance as well, but I didn't test out the limit of that aspect either. All things considered, I'd say these were a very smart purchase and I would highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marysgirl from Worked in the Whites!! I wore them in the White mountains in winter, I used a pair of light wicking long johns underneath. Went to the top of Garfield on a windy day and didn't feel a bit of wind or cold on my legs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Radtec from Saturday trail pants. I love these pants for my lifestyle at Lake Tahoe. The fact that they are machine washable is awesome. Three of us bought them and like them a lot! I just want to mention that the three of found that the waist is a tad big.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rockinr2005 from good concept but not thergood concept but not there yet I usually wear a 4 in columbia (and other pants) but they were too tight. The size 6 fit better in the waist but a little too baggy in the legs. i have a curvy figure at 34-27-36. I wanted these pants for traveling and sightseeing, even for watching my son play baseball in chilly weather. However, the outer fabric was just too casual, too "dumpy" looking, and the snap quality was poor( one pair of pants had the snap broken when i removed it from the bag!) The Lole travel pants are a much nicer fabric. This type of fabric will take me from sightseeing during the day to dinner at night. Columbia needs to start making nicer fabric pants for us non-hikers. I liked the omni-heat layer but not the outer fabric layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WendyinSC from Saturday Trail Pant AWESOME!!! Have been looking for a great insulated pant to take on an upcoming camping trip-- both functional, but not bulky. Happy to find these on clearance- cheap enough that I would give them a try. I recieved the pants, and wore them to work the very next day to "test them out". They were PERFECT! These pants are cute enough to wear in the office, rugged enough to be appropriate for the outdoors, comfy in all the right places (love the slightly higher back) and never having used anything with the Omni-Heat technology I wasn't sure how that would work out. By the end of the day my assessment of the Women’s Saturday Trail™ Stretch Lined Pant was that I wanted a second and third pair!! I was comfortable, and warm ALL DAY long without being overheated. Of course as with all of my Columbia purchases, I am nothing less than ecstatic!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MNChun from I live in these pants! A friend recommended these pants to me and I love them! Living in Minnesota, winters can be harsh. Sometimes it's too cold to run errands in jeans yet I don't want to look too bulky with extra layers. These pants keep me warm as I'm out and about yet comfortable to wear indoors between errands. They run true to size and have a tiny bit of stretch to them. Cute boot cut fit. Now I need to look for something similar in a skinny cut to slide into my boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bonzibabs from Warm/Weather-proof pants! These pants are amazingly warm!!!! I would wear them everyday in the winter if I could! The cut and style isn't the most flattering I have seen, but they make up for that in their warmth and weather-proof abilities!!! The size is correct, and the fabric has some give to it, so that's great! I would buy any pants with the omni-heat in them again, and am looking for more right now!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patsario49 from Happy I bought these pants Yes, I am happy I bought these. I hate being cold. 50-60 degrees and breezy just make me miserable. I went for hike with my new pants to try them out. I loved them. They are light, can't tell they have lining inside and while walking I didn't even think about my legs being cold! I am a size 8 short, but ordered a size 10 short and am so happy I did. They fit perfect. Now I am ordering my husband a pair for his early morning fishing on lake. He came home the other day saying his legs were freezing, the wind went right through his pants. I know he will love these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shelby81 from Love them I'm a huge fan of Columbia, but this is the first pair of their pants that I've owned. I love them! To give you an idea of the fit, I am 5'2'', 115 lbs. and the size 2 short fits me just right all around. I already knew that I love omni heat because I own several other products with it. Some people have said that it's itchy but I don't think it is at all. These pants are lined and very warm, but not too warm that they are too much to wear indoors. Also, the stitching on them is such that it's very flattering/slimming. I don't think I'd wear these to go out for a run, but I would wear them to go for a hike for sure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SheShe from Runs small & sizing is not consistent Usually wear a size 10 but ordered a 12 just in case because of the Active Fit. Loved the fit and the length (I'm 5'7") so ordered another size 12 and it was too small. Had to send it back. Haven't worn it in cold weather yet but the inside of the pant is very soft and comfortable. I can't recommend because of inconsistent sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Erinys from I freakin' LOVE these pants! I love these pants so much that yes, it requires the intensifying adverb. They are comfortable, well-fitting, and with just the right amount of stretch to do almost anything. The lining is not so thick that it prevents you from wearing them on moderate days, making them far more useful than your mother's flannel-lined khakis. I ordered 3 style pants in sizes from 10 to 14. These fit in 12, what I would expect in pants made for people who are active. I needed a 10 in the Road to Rock and a 14 in Crossroads. These fit so well I am considering ordering the convertible ones that aren't on sale, and except lingerie, I NEVER buy anything at full price. The short could be a little shorter (I'm 5'2"), and they do gape a little over the butt, so the 'Back-Up' feature might make these even better (big butt, narrow hips). Overall I am thrilled to have comfortable, decent fitting lined pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Coldwaist from Good pants would be better with higher waist line I like these pants, but anything worn in the cold or snow should cover your mid-drift. These do not. The rise on the waist should be longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by comomof3 from Great stylish activewear pants I received this just before we got zero degree temperatures. They work great. Super thin material but you would never know I wasn't freezing. I bought a jacket last year with the omni-heat and absolutly love it. These are stylish active pants that are functional and best of all....warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChillyLady from Surprisingly comfortable, good fit! My search for light weight, warm, lined pants brought me to buy these pants. I was a little wary of the shiny, metallic-looking lining, but it's soft and feels fairly warm. The fit is perfect, not too tight around my waist, yet it sits higher around the back. The leg length is good for my slighter longer legs. There are no heavy zippers at the cuffs to pull them down, and the straight leg keeps cold air from going up my legs when I walk the dog. The double snaps are secure but I hope they don't wear out and start popping open. There is enough room to wear light long johns underneath for increased warmth out in the snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hivalley from Finally, something to keep bottom half warm on work days I was actually coming back to the website to see if I could get this in other colors too, but it looks like black is it for now. I just spent the day going in and out of buildings and the car on a windy day in Anchorage and an average temperature of zero - and I have to say these pants did the trick! Nice enough finish on the outerlayer that I could get away with them on a work day and they really seemed to keep the wind at bay too! I'm not a fan of long underwear on work days and the typical lining on wool dress pants can get really COLD! So these really fit the bill. Loved the fact that they have pockets too! Just wish there were more colors now - Please!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by silverchick from Good cool weather alternative I found this pant to be a good cool weather alternative to regular hiking pants with a baselayer - less bulky and more breathable. Haven't run them through the ringer yet, but so far, so good - I'm liking them a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luci75 from Insulating pants are perfect! I 'heart' these pants! I tend to run cold and work in an old office building with poor insulation, which makes it worse, so I was excited by these pants. At first I thought the reflective material would feel weird, but it is soft and comfortable against the skin. The layers of the pants give just enough heft without being bulky. The fit is flattering and stylish, great for the office or the trail. The wet resistant material has already held its own in the rain, and I look forward to using them for snowshoeing once winter fully arrives. I'm not sure how true the sizing is. I'm losing weight, so I don't know where I really am on the size chart, but it feels close. Also, the light stretch of the material probably makes them more forgiving than non-stretch styles.
