Women’s Sunset Vista™ Interchange Jacket is rated out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by OregonSue from Not What they use to be I've owned Columbia jackets since 1995. I needed a new 3-in1 interchange jacket for the Oregon winters. I use it for my everyday winter jacket so I wanted a new one that covered my hips but didn't have to be mid thigh. My old Bugaboo with fleece liner did that perfectly. From the pictures, I thought the Sunset Vista would fit my needs. It is not like the quality of my old jacket at all. The fabric is too light weight, it did not have the technical features of pockets, zippers, detachable hood and fitted collar, hem and waist draw strings that my old jacket had. Very disappointed. Sent it back and had to pay return shipping. I will buy a different brand than Columbia going forward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arastelly from Happy in MN I purchased this jacket on sale in February. We have had an oddly warm winter in MN, but even so, the jacket has kept me warm and comfy in temperatures in the 20's and 30's. I have yet to see how it will perform in colder weather. It does a great job of blocking the wind, and the hood is very warm and actually stays up, unlike many hoods. It runs slightly large and has generous pockets, although the patch pockets feel weird under the hand pockets if you keep your phone, keys, etc. in the patch pockets. I got the blue and it looks more periwinkle in person, while on the website it appeared more gray-blue. I am okay with the color and am keeping it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShellyB from Love this jacket!! Since I live in the Atlanta area I wanted to purchase a jacket that would work both during the fall, winter, and spring months when temperatures can range from the teens to the upper 60's and one that had a more of a "dressy" look. Having just gotten a puppy I had to make several trips outside while wearing thin clothes during the night when the temperatures dropped into the upper 20's. This jacket kept me warm, even when it was windy! The hood cinched down well to protect my face from the wind and there is a small flap at the top of the jacket that snaps across to protect the lower face. The only challenge I had was keeping the fur around the hood away from my puppy when I carried her but that can be removed as needed! :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaniM from Very functional layerable wind breaker I just bought this jacket a few weeks ago, and while it's not what I expected (it's not as warm as I'd anticipated, much larger[I'm 5'8",125 and I bought a small], and more of a fuschia than the deep purple shown), I actually really love it. Since it runs a little large, it's perfect for layering, which with the wind break, makes it EXTRA warm. The brighter color makes me more visible to cars as I cross the street, and is actually fairly pretty (says the girl who HATES pink/purple). The only things that kind of bug me about the coat is the hood and the interior omniheat look. The fur looks cheap, and I would never wear it even if it didn't. I immediately removed it, which shortens the hood by a good three inches. Not great when the wind is blowing snow in your face and you can't tip your hood down far enough. And the omni-heat was unexpectedly very silver, almost sparkly. It looks very pretty, but that kind of girlyness just isn't my style. All that being said, I really do love this jacket and will treasure it for many years to come.

Rated 2 out of 5 by paulmz from Disappointing jacket. I purchased two of this jacket in XL-- one for my girlfriend and one for my mom. My girlfriend wanted a lightweight jacket like the Mighty Lite but also wanted a zip-in Interchange. I felt this covered both. Together, this jacket is a bit heavy and bulky, but nothing unexpected. The liner, however, is ridiculously baggy-- especially in the upper-body and sleeves. To make it worse, there is nothing for a cuff on the liner. So we have a lightweight, Omni-Heat jacket but wide-open cuffs-- no cinch, elastic or velcro. Seeing as I purchased this more for the liner, the fit and cuffs make it pretty useless. Overall, this jacket fits much more "relaxed" than other "Modern Classic" jackets she owns. I will be returning both jackets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RK789 from Feels like quality I bought and returned two coats from different sellers. I finally settled on this site due to their reputation for quality. I am quite happy with my choice. This jacket fits great. Nice outer material. I wish it came in a black so I could have chose that. That aside, this Sunset Vista jacket is a great value and fit. I will likely be buying here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TT27 from Love it! Had to finally cave and buy a REAL winter jacket. This jacket is WONDERFUL! By boyfriend has a jacket with omniheat and has just raved about it for the past year. You cannot beat the sale deal on this coat and will not find it anywhere cheaper. I am ALWAYS cold and this jacket really does work. It stays nice and cozy. I live in Minnesota and just used it to get thru a -13 degree day- it works. Purple Dahlia color is really nice, slightly more purple than in the picture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JuJube from Sunset Interchangable Jacket I love this Jacket but I do have two complaints. My major complaint is the inside jacket does not have zippers on the pockets. This is a ski jacket. While skiing, stuff can easily fall out of the jacket. The 2nd complaint is the inside jacket's pockets are really small so it's guaranteed to fall out if I fall while skiing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Birdistheword from Very cute and warm I love this jacket! I'm 5'5" and 120lbs, the small fit me perfectly. It's not tight along the back, which sometimes happens to me. The arms are also long enough and the hood is generously sized. It held up wonderfully in 9 degree weather, I was perfectly warm with a cardigan and t shirt underneath! It washes easy and doesnt stain (i had to put on chains and the sleeves got a bit muddy, that all came out in the wash). Columbia, you rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1stTimer from 1st Time Columbia Coat Owner I just adore this jacket. I love that I have an option to select which one I want to wear. The outer jacket runs a little bigger than the inner jacket, which isn't a big deal for me. The jacket is comfortable and feels a little heavier with the inner jacket attached. The inner jacket is warm and when worn together, reduces my need to wear a sweater, given the present mild weather. I had to remove the fur trim around the hood because it was iratating my allergies. The waterproof material is soft and doesn't look rubbery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LisaN73 from Perfect coat for a curvy girl! I'm about 5'6", 180lbs, 40DD, and this coat is a dream. I initially ordered it in an XL, and was surprised when I received it to find that it was too big, even with a sweater underneath. I exchanged it for a L, and the fit is perfect. I can wear a light sweater under the shell, with no problem, and fits perfectly with a light shirt. The windbreaker has lots of room when worn alone, and together they're the perfect pair. I ordered the Flint Grey/Mineshaft color, and it's a lovely neutral that will go with anything. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by snobird from Take on the Winter This jacket is warm but not bulky. It has a hood that overlaps the top of the head and sheilds the face from the elements. This jacket is true to size for my 5'5" 140lb frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Niklas57 from Great Coat I really like this coat! It's warm and it's very stylish! But, the color I ordered does not look the same in person. It also runs large, I'm normally a medium, but I sized my self anyways and it looked as though u should get a large; so I did! But, it's deffinatly to big, and I should have gotten a medium! Although this way I could fit a hoodie underneath it. Overall great coat and I'm very satisfied with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HpyTrvlr from Perfect Jacket Love the Vista Interchange jacket. No Velcro to catch sweaters or damage fabrics. Flattering fit and style. Long enough to cover my bum and keep me dry during rain. Medium fit my 5'4" 150 lbs. frame comfortably. Purple Dahalia is a beautiful color but it is more purple than maroon as represented in picture.
